I have replaced my struts and shocks three times and I am still having trouble with my stability trac
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact lost control and the vehicle was swerving side-to-side on the roadway. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced the rear shocks; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to another independent mechanic, who replaced the rear shocks a second time. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE JERKED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE AND THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE RESET. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE DETACHED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,973.
VEHICLE WAS PARKED OFF ROAD ON A DIRT SLOPED PART OF LAND. BRAKE WAS DEPRESSED AND VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION WAS PLACED IN PARK, ALTHOUGH THE P INDICATOR ON THE DASH DID NOT ILLUMINATE. UPON RELEASING THE BRAKE, THE VEHICLE SLOWLY BEGAN ROLLING IN REVERSE. I DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL A AGAIN AND UPON LETTING GO THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ROLL BACKWARDS. I ENGAGRED THE PARKING BRAKE IN WHICH THE VEHICLE STAYED IN PLACE. I TRIED TO START THE CAR, BUT ENGINE WOULD NOT TURNOVER. I POPPED THE HOOD TO LOOK FOR ANY PROBLEMS AND FOUND THE TRAMISSION LINKAGE COMPLETELY OFF TRAMISSION. I MANUALLY TURNED THE TRANSMISSION SELECTOR ALL THE WAY FORDWARD TO PARK, RESULTING IN THE DASH P (PARK) ILLUMINATING. I THE SET THE LINKAGE BACK ON THE SELECTOR AND ZIPTIED THE LINKAGE AND SELECTOR TOGETHER TO MAKE IT HOME.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CV BOOTS AND AXLE FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.

THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM FOR THE TRANSMISSION HAD EXPIRED AND THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,000.

MAKING A RIGHT TURN INTO A STREET. BALL JOINT SNAPPED LOOSE CAUSING CAR TO BOTTOM OUT. TOWED CAR TO DEALER AND THEY WANT TO MAKE AN EXCUSE SAYING THIS IS AN ACCIDENT AND WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER. NO ACCIDENT. JUST FAULTY PARTS. IT'S A SHAME. PROVIDED PICTURES TO PROVE NOT ACCIDENT..
