transmission fluid leaks through the left side axel. when filled several times and changed the axel and the seal, it continued to leak. I checked it in with a transmission shop and they said to me that many fusions have been leaking and they will try to change the pushing inside the cup.
I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD MY CAR A WHOLE YEAR YET AND I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED A TRANSMISSION AND NOW HAVING TO DO THE STEERING WHEEL/BEARING/HUB ASSEMBLY I THOUGHT FORD WAS OKAY UNTIL NOW I'VE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY TRYING TO REPAIR THIS CAR.
I HAVE 24391 MILES ON MY CAR AND I WAS TOLD I NEED NEW SHOCKS IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. I HAVE NEVER REPLACED BACK SHOCKS ON A CAR WITH THAT LITTLE BIT OF MILEAGE. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL NOW FORD WANTS ME TO PAY 435.00 FOR THIS REALLY? FIRST TIME I HAVE OWNED A FORD. BUT WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ONE EVER AGAIN IF I HAVE TO PAY FOR NEW REAR SHOCKS.
BALL JOINT/FRONT LEFT LOWER CONTROL ARM DEFECT @ 51,000 MILES CAUSED VEHICLE TO FAIL STATE INSPECTION. CONFIRMED BY INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND FORD DEALER. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS DEFECT IN STATES WHERE THERE IS NO ANNUAL INSPECTION REQUIREMENT. REPLACEMENT PART IS ON BACKORDER POSSIBLY INDICATING HIGHER THAN EXPECTED FAILURES.
EARLY ON IN OWNERSHIP AND UNDER HEAVY ACCELERATION FROM A DEAD STOP, THE FRONT TIRES (GOODYEAR EAGLE 235/45R18 98Y) WOULD LOCK, HOP, SKIP UNTIL ACCELERATION REDUCE. AS OF MID-DECEMBER, UNDER EVEN LIGHT ACCELERATION FROM A DEAD STOP GOING UP HILL, THE FRONT TIRES WOULD LOCK, HOP, SKIP. THE DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED THE EXISTENCE OF THE PROBLEM 11/24/2014. THE DEALERSHIP TESTED THE ISSUE PER FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND FOUND THAT FUSIONS WITH THE SAME TIRES PRODUCED THE SAME UNWANTED RESULTS. THOUGH FORD MOTOR COMPANY IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, IT WILL NOT AUTHORIZED TIRE REPLACEMENT TO FORD FUSIONS WITH THE ECO-BOOST, 2.L ENGINES VEHICLES. FORD'S POSITION, ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP, IS THAT THE MOUNTED GOODYEAR TIRES ARE SOLD AS "SPORT" TIRES AND AS "SUMMER" TIRES. VIRGINIA HAS FOUR SEASONS AND FORD SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THE MOUNTED TIRES WERE NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THE ANNUAL CLIMATE CHANGES IN THIS STATE. *JS

THERE WAS A ABOUT A SIX (6) INCH ABRASION ON THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL EDGE AND THE TIRE AT FIRST GLANCE APPEARED UNDAMAGED. MY THOUGHT IS THAT THERE WAS A FLAW IN THE MANUFACTURE OF THE CONTROL ARM. THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR. I AM EXPERIENCING FRONT END VIBRATION, MORE AND MORE FREQUENTLY, AT NORMAL HIGHWAY SPEEDS, SOME INCREASE WHEN TURNING AND MORE WHEN GOING OVER SMALL BUMPS IN THE ROAD.
