TIRES:TEMPORARY/EMERGENCY SPARE TIRE
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Ram 1500 trucks. The spare tire provided may differ in size and required inflation pressure from the information on the tire placard label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Fix: Chrysler has notified owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect size spare tire with the correct size spare tire, free of charge. The recall began June 27, 2019. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is V67.
TIRES:PRESSURE MONITORING AND REGULATING SYSTEMS
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Ram 1500 trucks. An incorrect Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor could have been installed during production causing the sensor to not display the low tire pressure warning indicator. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."
Fix: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the TPMS sensor, free of charge. The recall began January 9, 2020. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is VE1.

There is a visible chunk of rubber missing from my truck tire. My wife and I noticed the anomaly on the tire in the morning right before leaving to work. I commute with this truck monday though friday, on a smooth highway.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 RAM 1500 EQUIPPED WITH THE GOODYEAR TIRES, TIRE LINE: WRANGLER SR-A: TIRE SIZE: P275/60/R20, DOT NUMBER: M6YNID1R3819. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS NEPHEW WAS DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE EXPLODED. THE CONTACT PULLED OFF OF THE ROADWAY AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO STEVENS CREEK CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (4100 STEVENS CREEK BLVD, SAN JOSE, CA 95129, (408) 809-3886. THE DEALER ORDERED A REPLACEMENT TIRE AND THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP AND WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, THE FAILURE RECURRED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OFF OF THE ROADWAY AND TOWED BACK TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THE TIRE WAS NOT YET REPLACED. NEITHER THE TIRE NOR THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,500.
