POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
CHRYSLER IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2007 THROUGH 2008 JEEP WRANGLER VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 2006 THROUGH JULY 2008, EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. THESE VEHICLES WERE NOT EQUIPPED WITH A TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE WARNING SYSTEM.
Fix: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND INSTALL A "HOTOIL" MESSAGE IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND A CHIME INDICATING AN ELEVATED TRANSMISSION FLUID CONDITION. THE RECALL BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 22, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT CHRYSLER AT 1-800-835-1403.

Transmission pops out of first gear randomly. Was making a left turn across a 4 lane highway when transmission popped out this time. Thankfully this time oncoming traffic had enough time to slow down and not t-bone me. When this happens it feels as though I’ve been hit from behind and makes a very loud popping noise. Dealer aware of tbs 21-001-10 but vehicle is out of warranty period so have to pay out of pocket to have this well know safety issue fixed.

THE DASHBLIGHTS STARTED ACTING POSSESSED WHILE DRIVING AND WINSHIELD WHIPERA CAME ON WITHOUT BEING ACTIVATED BY SWITCH. NOW THE GUAGES ARE STUCK STRAIGHT UP AND IT WONT SHIFT OUT OF PARK..THE RADIO AND WINDOWS STILL WORK AND THE LIGHTS CONE ON WITHOUT BEING TURNED ON.
THE VEHICLE "POPS" OUT OF 1ST GEAR CONSTANTLY. I'VE SEEN HUNDREDS OF EXAMPLES POSTED IN FORUMS WHERE THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH MANY OF THESE MODELS. ITS DANGEROUS WHEN TRYING TO START FROM A STANDSTILL WITH TRAFFIC BEHIND YOU AND YOU CAN'T EVEN USE FIRST GEAR TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. I'VE HAD PEOPLE ALMOST HIT ME BECAUSE OF THIS!!..AGAIN, THIS IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED...AT FIRST I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS JUST ME....BUT AFTER DOING HOURS OF RESEARCH (HUNDREDS OF POSTS ABOUT THIS EXACT PROBLEM ON LINE) AND EVEN HAVING OTHER PEOPLE DRIVE MY VEHICLE, WE ALL AGREE SOMETHING IS WRONG..

TRANSMISSION OVERHEATS... CHRYSLER WON'T FIX THE ACTUAL PROBLEM..THEY JUST RECALLED THE VEHICLE TO HAVE A DUMMY LIGHT INSTALLED ON YOUR DASH..TURN YOUR VEHICLE OFF AND LET IT COOL DOWN..BY THAT TIME WHEN IT OVER HEATS..IT'S ALREADY JUNK..42RLE ARE JUNK! WE THE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO FIX AND DIAGNOSIS THERE MISTAKE. BETWEEN THE WIRING AND THE TRANSMISSION..IT'S HELL...YOUR EITHER GOING TO BURN BECAUSE OF FAULTY WIRES THEY NEVER DID A RECALL ON AND IT'S ALL OVER THE INTERNET...SAME PROBLEMS. MANUAL TRANSMISSION POPS OUT OF GEAR, THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THE SYNCHRONIZER WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. I PAID TO HAVE IT REPLACED THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE SECOND TIME CHRYSLER PAID TO REPLACE IT: THAT WAS 2 1/2 YEARS AGO (THAT IS HOW LONG IT LASTED FOR) I RECENTLY CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP WHO REPLACED IT IN 11/2016 AND THEY SAID I DON'T HAVE A WARRANTY AND THEY ONLY GUARANTEE THEIR WORK FOR 2 YEARS. I FOUND A RECALL SERVICE BULLETIN ON LINE FOR THE SYNCHRONIZER THAT WAS SENT TO ALL DEALERSHIPS APRIL 20, 2010
SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT THE CAR BURST INTO FLAMES AND BURNT TO THE GROUND.THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SAID IT WAS CAUSED BY TRANSMISSION FLUID BOILING OUT OF A VENT AND HITTING THE HOT EXHAUST PIPE
WHILE TURNING RIGHT FROM A STOP SIGN ON TO A MAJOR HIGHWAY WITH 55 MILE AN HOUR SPEED LIMIT I BEGAN TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC WHEN SUDDENLY THE TRANSMISSION JUMPED OUT OF FIRST GEAR CAUSING A LOUD BANGING AND SHIFTIER VIOLENTLY JUMPING BACKWARDS OUT OF MY HAND AND CAUSING MY JEEP TO STOP ACCELERATING ONLY A FEW FEET FROM THE STOP SIGN AND INTO TRAFFIC. I WAS ABLE TO QUICKLY GET THE TRANSMISSION BACK INTO FIRST GEAR AND MERGE WITHOUT INCIDENT. THIS PROBLEM WAS INTERMITTENT FOR ALMOST 6 MONTHS AND NEVER COULD I GET IT TO HAPPEN WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN TO GET SERVICED FOR THIS PROBLEM. THE MORE I DROVE THE JEEP THE MORE OFTEN THE PROBLEM WOULD OCCUR, UNTIL DECEMBER OF 2018 WHEN IT WOULD JUMP OUT OF GEAR ALMOST EVERY TIME I STARTED FROM A DEAD STOP. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE ANYWHERE WITHOUT BEING NERVOUS THAT THE NEXT TIME I TRIED TO START FROM A DEAD STOP I WOULD EITHER BE BROADSIDED OR REAR ENDED BECAUSE OF THE SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. I UNDERSTAND THAT JEEP HAS ISSUED A TECHNICAL BULLETIN FOR THIS PROBLEM BUT I HAVE WAITED FOR PARTS SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS REPAIR FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND POSSIBLY WILL BE IN IN ABOUT 10 MORE DAYS ACCORDING TO THE SERVICE ADVISOR. I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL MANUAL TRANSMISSION VEHICLES ALL OF THEM FOR OVER 200,000 MILES EACH HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH INTERNAL GEARS AND SYNCHRONIZERS. THE JEEP HAS BEEN SERVICED AND IS WELL TAKEN CARE OF NOT USED FOR TOWING OR ANY OTHER HEAVY LOADING. I DON'T BELIEVE I HAVE DONE ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY TO CAUSE THIS PROBLEM, I DO BELIEVE THAT JEEP HAS A PROBLEM WITH THIS TRANSMISSION AND IS NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY TO REPAIR THEM. VEHICLE WILL NOT START RIGHT AWAY AFTER IT HAS RAINED OR WHEN IT IS COLD. IT IS NOT CERTAIN IF THE VEHICLE WILL START AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS. THIS IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE COMPLAINTS RELATED TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: IGNITION SWITCH RECALL FOR SOME JEEPS, WHICH WAS RECALLED FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF RESULTING IN A VEHICLE FIRE. THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL FOR THE 2008 JEEP WRANGLER SAHARA YET EVEN THOUGH MANY OWNERS HAVE MADE SIMILAR COMPLAINTS.
FRONT AXLE (DIFFERENTIAL) OIL SEALS ARE LEAKING LUBE OIL QUICKLY. THERE ARE LEAK REPORTED ISSUES WITH THESE DANA 30; DANA 35; AND MY OWN RUBICON'S DANA 44 AXLE. THE AXLE SEALS ARE LEAKING LUBE OIL FROM THE AXLE ENDS. AGAIN, THIS IS HAPPENING TO MY '08 JEEP WRANGLER RUBICON AND ALSO TO MANY OTHER JEEP WRANGLER MODELS FROM 07-17 YEARS AS WELL AS REPORTED AND CONFIRMED BY OTHER OWNERS OF JEEP JK AND JKU MODELS 2017, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 09, 08, 07 MODELS. THERE SHOULD BE A GOVERMENT RECALL SINCE MANY OF THESE JEEPS ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME AXLE LEAK ISSUES AS REPORTED. UNFORTUNATEDLY, FCA DOES NOT COVER THIS SIMPLE POWER TRAIN FIX SINCE MY VEHICLE IT'S OUT OF WARRANTY.
AT 54,500 HIGHWAY MILES, TWO ROD BEARINGS FAILED IN THE ENGINE RESULTING IN TOTAL ENGINE LOSS. AFTER ENGINE REPLACEMENT THE THROW OUT BEARING FAILED RESULTING IN FAILURE OF THE CLUTCH. ENGINE FAILED WHILE BEING DRIVEN ON A FREEWAY BUT WAS ABLE TO BE DRIVEN INTO THE DEALERSHIP. CLUTCH FAILED WHILE BEING DRIVEN ON CITY STREETS RESULTING IN TOWING.
MY JEEP HAS BEEN JUMPING OUT OF GEAR. IN TRAFFIC, DRIVING IN 1ST GEAR, AT ABOUT 5-10 MPH, FLAT TERRAIN IN A STRAIGHT DIRECTION, IT JUMPS OUT OF GEAR. MY JEEP HAS JUMPED OUT OF GEAR IN INTERSECTIONS WHEN I AM STARTING FROM A STOP, FLAT TERRAIN, GOING STRAIGHT OR TURNING, IT WILL JUMP OUT OF FIRST AS I AM ACCELERATING, I HAVE HAD SEVERAL INSTANCES WHERE I WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED. WHEN STOPPING AT A SIGN OR RED LIGHT, AS I START IN 1ST GEAR IT WILL AGGRESSIVELY JUMP OUT OF GEAR CAUSING ME TO ROLL BACK WHEN ON A HILL, WHERE I HAVE ALMOST RUN INTO THE VEHICLE BEHIND ME. THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN ISSUED BY MOPAR " NUMBER: 21-001-10 REV. A GROUP: TRANSMISSION DATE: APRIL 20, 2010" I TOOK MY JEEP TO HAVE THE GEAR FIXED ON 04/16/2018 THE PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER, NOT ARRIVING TO THE DEALERSHIP UNTIL 05/10/2018 AND IT WAS FINISHED ON 05/18/2018. I AM CONVINCED THE BACK ORDER OF MY PARTS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THIS IS HAPPENING TO MANY OTHER JEEP OWNERS. THE DEALER FOUND MY 1ST GEAR SYNCHRONIZER WAS DAMAGED AND REPLACED IT
WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP IN A 6-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISION, THE JEEP WILL AT TIMES JUMP OUT OF GEAR WITH A VIOLENT JERK AND LOUD SOUND. THIS COULD CAUSE THE DRIVER TO REACT OR A VEHICLE BEHIND TO REAR END THE NOW NOT MOVING VEHICLE WHILE THE JEEP DRIVER RECOVERS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING AT 5 MPH, WITH NO WARNING THE VEHICLE SHIFTED TO NEUTRAL INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT STATED WAS ABLE TO SHIFT BACK TO DRIVE AND DROVE THE VEHICLE TO THEIR RESIDENCE. THE DEALER (FOSS CHRYSLER JEEP 133 PORTSMOUTH AVE, EXETER, NEW HAMPSHIRE 03833) WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED AND MORE TIME WAS NEEDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND AGREED WITH THE DEALER THAT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED AND MORE TIME WAS NEEDED. THE VIN SEARCH REVEALED NO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 266,936.
MANUAL TRANSMISSION POPS OUT OF FIRST GEAR CAUSING VEHICLE TO STALL. THIS OCCURS WHEN STARTING FROM A STOPPED POSITION AS THE CLUTCH IS RELEASED. THIS OCCURS WHEN GOING STRAIGHT AND TURNING. THIS IS DANGEROUS WHEN ENTERING A ROADWAY WITH OTHER TRAFFIC. SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH EARLY JEEP JK WRANGLERS.
SYNCHRO PROBLEM 'JUMPS VIOLENTLY OUT OF 1ST GEAR [JOG] SINCE 35K MILES
HOTOIL ALARM COMES ON UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS ON A DAILY BASIS. TRANSMISSION IS OVERHEATING AND NEEDS AN APPROPRIATE GRABS COOLER OR THIS WILL CAUSE FIRE. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP BEFORE TRANSMISSION FAILURE!
VEHICLE STATIONARY AND IN MOTION A SINGLE DING WILL GO OFF EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES, MORE OFTEN AT SLOWER SPEEDS. NO DASH LIGHT ON NO INDICATION AS TO WHY IT IS DINGING. ALSO PARKED ON HILL WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE TO BEGIN GOING INTO MOTION THE VEHICLE SHAKES AT AN UNSETTLING FEELING UNTIL I GET TO FLAT GROUND AND PUT IT INTO DRIVE.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY THE 2008 JEEP WRANGLERS ARE HAVING SO MANY TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS, AND JEEP AND CHRYSLER IS SITTING ON THE THEIR BACKSIDES BLAMING THE DRIVERS? IF MULTIPLE PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME TYPE OF PROBLEM, YOU WOULD THINK SOMEONE WOULD LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM, BUT NO THEY DEALERS AND THE COMPANY CONTINUE TO DISREGARD IT FORCING OWNERS TO SPEND MORE AND MORE MONEY. I REFUSE TO SPEND MONEY TO BAND-AID THE ISSUES. THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL DUE TO THE FACT THAT WHEN IT HAPPENS IT LEAVES THE DRIVER SITTING STILL IN TRAFFIC. I AM AFRAID TO PUT MY FAMILY IN THE VEHICLE FOR THAT SAME REASON. I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST ONCE A DAY IN THE LAST YEAR I HAVE HAD IT, THE DATE OF WHEN IT HAPPENED WAS JUST THE LAST TIME . THIS AFFECTS 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS. THE CAR VIOLENTLY POPS OUT OF FIRST GEAR WHEN ACCELERATING. THEY EVEN ISSUED A TSB ON IT. IT HAS DONE THIS MULTIPLE TIMES BUT I ALMOST HAD A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT LAST WEEK WHEN PULLING OUT ONTO A MAJOR HIGHWAY FROM A STOP. THIS WILL GET SOMEONE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE PARKING THE VEHICLE, THE GEAR CONTROLLER WAS UNABLE TO REMAIN IN PARK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR CONTROLLER WOULD NOT MOVE FROM THE DRIVE POSITION. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.
THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION/STICK SHIFT CONSTANTLY VIOLENTLY POPS OUT OF 1ST AND 3RD GEAR INTO NEUTRAL WHILE ACCELERATING CAUSING A SUDDEN, UNEXPECTED LOSS OF POWER AND CONTROL OVER THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER MUST COME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN TRAFFIC OR HAVE THE VEHICLE CONTINUE TO ROLL FORWARD (OR BACKWARD IF ON AN UPSLOPE) WHILE TRYING TO RE-ENGAGE THE TRANSMISSION. UNLESS AND UNTIL THE DRIVER IS ABLE TO RE-ENGAGE THE TRANSMISSION, THERE IS NO ACTIVE CONTROL OVER THE FORWARD MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE TO MAINTAIN VEHICLE SPEED OR AVOID A POTENTIAL COLLISION. THIS CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS DAMAGE AND/OR INJURY TO THE VEHICLE, DRIVER, DRIVERS OF OTHER VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS. THIS HAS BEEN A CONTINUING PROBLEM SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NEW. MANUFACTURE ISSUED A TSB (#21-001-10 REV. A) REGARDING THIS ISSUE CAUSED BY BAD A SYNCHRONIZER ASSEMBLY. DEALER REFUSED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS UNDER WARRANTY B/C IT HAPPENED LESS FREQUENTLY THEN AND DEALER COULDN'T INDEPENDENTLY DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. NOW THAT IT HAPPENS CONSTANTLY THE DEALER REFUSES TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM B/C THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY. THIS IS A KNOWN DANGEROUS DEFECT BUT THE DEALER/MANUFACTURER REFUSES TO CORRECT IT.
TRANSMISSION POPS OUT OF 1ST GEAR DURING TAKE OFF FROM A COMPLETE STOP. THIS HAPPENS 1 IN EVERY 5 TIMES. THE SHIFTER IS FULLY ENGAGED. NORMAL WEATHER AND DRIVING CONDITIONS. NO VEHICLE MODIFICATIONS.
MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND I HAD TURNED THE IGNITION OFF, REMOVED MY KEYS, AND WALKED AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED ON A FLAT SURFACE AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. UPON WALKING AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE THE VEHICLE STARTED ROLLING FORWARD BY ITSELF. MY VEHICLE ROLLED INTO THE BACK OF ANOTHER VEHICLE CAUSING 4,000 DOLLARS IN DAMAGES TO THE OTHER VEHICLE. NO MAJOR DAMAGES OCCURRED TO MY VEHICLE.

SINCE I PURCHASED THIS JEEP, IT INTERMITTENTLY WILL NOT START--TYPICALLY IN WARM WEATHER. WE REPLACED THE GROUND ON THE BATTERY, PURCHASED NEW BATTERY, STARTER, NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH AND ALL TRANSMISSION SENSORS. STILL, IT WILL NOT START IN WARM WEATHER. WE LITERALLY HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE COOLS, THEN THE JEEP WILL START. I RESEARCHED THE ISSUE ON-LINE AND FOUND MANY CONSUMER REFERENCES TO THIS PROBLEM FOR THIS VEHICLE--COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS "THE JEEP FLU." MANY REPORT EITHER THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH OR THE TIPM IS THE ISSUE. MANY REFERENCES COMPLAIN THAT CHRYSLER IS FULLY AWARE OF THE PROBLEM--TIPMS ON BACK ORDER--BUT THEY ARE SILENT. THIS JEEP HAS STRANDED US MANY TIMES--WHICH CAN ALSO CAUSE SIGNIFICANT HARM FOR CONSUMERS. CHRYSLER SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE THIS PROBLEM AND PROVIDE A FIX! *TR
GEARS ENGAGING WITH DELAY AS VEHICLE GETS HOT. WHEN PUTTING THE JEEP FROM THE PARK POSITION INTO DRIVE, THE VEHICLE HAS A DELAY ENGAGING WHICH GETS WORSE THE WARMER OR HOTTER THE CAR GETS AND OR THE LONGER IT RUNS. THIS PROBLEM BECAME WORSE OVER THE LAST 12 MONTHS. ACCORDING TO A POLICEMAN, A WITNESS SAW SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD 15-20 MINUTES AFTER THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED. VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED FORWARD OF THE FIREWALL. SMOKE AND HEAT DAMAGE TO FRONT INTERIOR OF VEHICLE INCLUDING MELTED CARPET NEAR TRANSMISSION IN AREA OF ACCELERATOR PEDAL. *JS
WHEN THE IGNITION KEY WAS TURNED TO ON, THE STARTER ONLY GAVE A CLICK. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS IT STARTED. THE DEALER DID A DIAGNOSTIC AND FOUND NOTHING. THE PROBLEM CONTINUED AND BECAME MORE FREQUENT AND SEVERE TO THE POINT IT WOULDN'T START AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS. THE STARTER WAS REPLACED WITH NO RESULTS, PROBLEM CONTINUED. FROM ONLINE FORUMS ON JEEP I FOUND THIS TO BE A WIDESPREAD PROBLEM. IT WAS SUGGESTED TO PUT THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION IN THE NEUTRAL POSITION AND TRY. IF IT STARTS, THE PROBLEM IS A FAULTY TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR. PUTTING IT NEUTRAL WHEN THIS OCCURS, HAS STARTED THE ENGINE THE FIRST TRY DOZENS OF TIMES FOR ME. I TOOK THE JEEP TO THE DEALER, GAVE THEM THIS INFORMATION WHICH THEY IGNORED. THEY REPLACED A SOLENOID CABLE INSTEAD. THE PROBLEM CONTINUED. RETURNED TO THE DEALER FOR ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC, THEY KEPT THE VEHICLE FOR 2 DAYS WHILE I RENTED A VEHICLE. NOTHING WAS FOUND OR FIXED IN THEIR DIAGNOSTIC WHEN I PICKED IT UP. THE PROBLEM CONTINUES, IT DID IT TODAY TWICE 6/25/2014, BUT STILL STARTS IN NEUTRAL FOR NOW. THE SUGGESTED TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR WOULD BE COVERED IN MY LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. THE "SOLUTION" PROVIDED BY JEEP IS TO ADD A WARNING LIGHT/CHIME TO ALERT THE DRIVER OF HIGH TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE. SINCE THE OVERHEATED OIL CAN OVERFLOW FROM THE TRANSMISSION AND IGNITE POTENTIALLY CAUSING CATASTROPHIC FIRE, I DO NOT FEEL THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN ADDRESSED PROPERLY. THE APPROPRIATE FIX FOR THE PROBLEM IS TO INSTALL AN AUXILIARY COOLER FOR THE TRANSMISSION FLUID. SUCH A COOLER COULD PREVENT THE OVERHEATING OF THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND, THEREBY, PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE TRANSMISSION OR POSSIBLE FIRES.
