Over the past several years, there have been multiple instances where I or my wife are driving on the highway and the engine light comes on or starts flashing, and I am unable to go faster than 50 miles an hour, and the engine itself feels to be underpowered.

Car has lost power or gone into "limp mode" while driving on multiple occasions. Car was never listed under the fuel pump recall but had all associated symptoms & problems. Had to have fuel pumps replaced in December 2023 due to car not starting because of faulty fuel pumps.

Emission system, low acceleration to the point it becomes a safety hazard in the freeway, I almost got rear ended twice, the car jolts, it stops out of no where, head gasket issues at only 65k. Maintenance was kept up but there’s a Facebook group called Honda sport 2018 to 22 on these models of the same issue “Christmas tree lights”

My vehicle is losing power while traveling on the road. All of the system lights are flashing and the gas mileage is ridiculous. It sputters uncontrollably and just stalls out and drops speed really quick.

honda has yet to fix the fuel pump issue after issuing recall on the fuel pump over a year ago. I've been by the Honda dealership numerous times trying to get this recall fixed. Now I am having many issues with my car and I can't even drive it at this point.

During normal driving - clear weather conditions - the car will suddenly activate the forward collision braking. It will literally slam on the brakes and decrease the speed by 10-15 MPH. This happened as I was going down the drive of our neighborhood, I was at 45 MPH with no one in front of me or behind me (thankfully) and the car applied the brakes and activated the front collision warning.

two weeks after I purchased this vehicle the electrical system failed causing the car to drive in the ditch, Land Rover of mount Kisco, ny sold me the vehicle, after multiple attempts to find out what was going on with it, it was found that someone had rigged the electrical wiring harness and wrapped it with electrical tape and taped it down causing the electrical system to malfunction, after that was repaired in august 2023 the car veered off the road again this time hitting a speed limit sign the damage was on the side of the vehicle but the vehicle would not move at all and all the lights were on again, the police stated where the damage is on the car it should not had caused the car to do what it was doing after I explained I was just driving along and the vehicle just went its own way, I told the insurance company about the previous issues, they repaired the car and that's it, I got the car back 24 hrs later all the lights came back on the dashboard, they still could not figure it out this was in September of 23, by December 23 the lights came back on the Honda dealership said it was the fuel pump this was because the lights came back on and the car stalled on the interstate almost causing a collision so I had to have it towed to the dealership, I paid $1300 only to find out Honda had a recall the dealership said it was the same part number and advised me to contact Honda for a reimbursement in which Honda has refused to reimburse me after to attempts, as I looked at the recalls on this car this car has had two different recalls on the fuel pump for this vehicle, that was repaired drove the car for 4 weeks the lights came on the dashboard again, I took it back to the dealership they said its the turbo booster, I am convinced the dealership who sold me this vehicle knew this vehicle was not in any condition to be on the road with a family in it, I have asked Honda to buy the car back they have refused, this car cannot be repaired.

On February 16th, I visited Walsh Honda in Macon, Georgia, reporting issues with my fuel and car not pulling and acting irregularly. Suspecting bad fuel, I was informed of a safety recall for the fuel pump, which was likely the problem. However, they changed the spark plug instead, charged me for it, and did not address the recall, which has been in place since 2023.

Dashboard lights: emissions systems problem, road departure mitigation system problem, collision mitigation bar along system problem, ACC system problem, hill start assist problem, vehicle stability assist system problem, electric power steering system problem, brake hold system problem, brake system problem, tire pressure system problem- every single warning and light turn on when weather is less than ideal (high humidity, cold temp, etc.).

Forward Collision Warning feature On 02/16/24 I was traveling east on I-630 at about 60 MPH.

The vehicle has been giving a check engine light and a litany of other warning lights including: electric power steering system problem, brake system problem, forward collision mitigation braking system problem, tire pressure monitoring system problem, adaptive cruise control system problem, traction control system problem.

Began getting several alerts, when taken in to get a diagnosis I received the following error codes P0301, P0304, P0301, P0300, U0401-68 & U3003-16. These codes stated that I had Cylinder 1 Misfire, Cylinder 4 Misfire as well as Random Misfire and ECM Failure and Electric Parking Brake Control Unit Power Source Circuit Low Voltage.

I was driving slow to a 4 way st and slowly had a car pass across me so far away and it passed and all of a sudden emergency break and slam on break by itself causing the passenger in my car to hurt them self ... I was unable to control this accident so bad!!!!

I took it to one Honda dealership who after 'diagnosing' claimed it was the fuel injectors needing to be replaced.

The Collision Mitigation Breaking System is braking for no reason, at random times while driving 2. My safety and the safety of others is put at risk because when driving on an open road, cars behind me may not have time to break and this could result in an accident.

Vehicle suddenly shut down in traffic second time in a row within 4 days after it was supposedly repair by Honda dealer the first time. It was again my luck that the car engine shut down, suddenly stopped on a road, not on a highway which could result in serious injury to death as sudden stop would cause newsworthy bad crash to my vehicle from oncoming high speed traffic that follows my vehicle.

The sensor is located under the license plate, and because of it being so low, anything that hits it on the road, such as a rock or insects, the sensor gets triggered. There’s no protective cap on it. And every single light turns on the dash.

While driving the vehicle loses power in traffic or on highway. The brakes won’t stop and the gas won’t accelerate. It’s like the car dies the light all come on reading warnings Break mitigation system, Break ABS loss of engine power.

While driving using ACC, the warning message “Crash mitigation not working” comes on out of nowhere and the cruise control stops working. This has happened multiple times. Also, About a month ago, my whole left side of the dash completely stopped working.

I have had this vehicle since June 2018 and I have not had any issues until the last month or so.

On 6/6/22 the car had multiple Alarms came on the dashboard (break sys prob,emission prob,road dept mit,collision mit,break sys prot,aac sys prob, hill start asst prob,break performance prob). I called Honda Valley Stream informing them of the above. Got appt 6/8 I was told I would need to leave the car on 6/8 appt.

Started car up on morning all lights on dash board came on, took it had it checked by three different car shops, they said the car was showing three misfire codes, had spark plugs put in the car, two weeks later started car let warm left home to go to drop kids off to school and go to work, car started stalling in the middle of traffic I made it to the side of the road my husband who is also a mechanic told me to cut it of for 5 mins, I did so and the car ran find for the rest of the day, next morning same thing happen again me and my husband took it to the Honda dealership, we were told that a recall was in affect for the car by one lady, then another lady said it wasn't on my car it was Accords with 2.0 engine, my husband then started calling around pricing fuel pumps $1300 for a new pump and then come to find out that the 1.5 and the 2.0 engine use the exact same pump, if the pump was recalled for the 2.0 why not the 1.5 that has the same exact pump, the dealership did the recall service that was on my car some kind of software update, next day tried to start my car it did nothing but turn over and would not start after second try it started and all the lights were on in my dash board again, my husband started a google search on my car and found that their are a lot of complaints on this mode all on the same problems I'm having with mind, and a lot of complaints about the transmission in these cars as well, me and my kids could have been hit from the back by another car when the car stalled out, and when all my lights come on in the dash the cars anti crash system along with a lot of other things do work as they should.

1-When I would hit the remote to unlock the doors it would make a weird noise. 2-After a few days I started hearing the noises in the gas cap area and in the gearshift when I put the car in gear.

The honda infotainment system would freeze and crash while the vehicle is in operation. The infotainment system is used as a navigation system, radio, backup camera and sets various settings for the car. When this defective infotainment system crashes, it causes the driver to think something bad is happening to the car and driver will be very distracted.

The seals around the doors, weather stripping is coming lose, seats are falling apart, the radio and navigation screen will go black and reboot itself. The collision control system will get you killed if you're not careful. I was getting onto the highway from a traffic light, had my turn signal on.

Here is a description of the safety issues this car continues to have that the manufacturer and two dealers will not fix under the manufacturer's warrantee because they claim they can not duplicate and there are no stored error codes. On 2/14/19, I was driving on a city street in a straight line at approximately 40mph. The car ahead of me stopped. I called my local hnda dealership in reading pa. They said they have received alot of these complaints and they think they honda sensing system just freezes in the winter.

Car multimedia unit (with a touch-screen) randomly freezes and restarts itself. It happened to me 9 times already since I bought a car in june 2018. If you use navigation system or need screen for other activities while you driving - you are in trouble, because you will lose all the content you had on the screen before the restart and it will distract you from the driving.

On several occasions this cars collision mitigation system has applied the brakes without any reason and this is a very serious safety issue for the public at large and needs immediate attention from honda. I've seen some complaints about the 2017 and 2018 crv doing this exact same thing.

one year ago, my 2018 Honda Accord LX completely shut down while traveling at 35 MPH. The engine light was flashing and I lost all power with only enough to pull over safely on the side of the road, I was terrified and called AAA who came and towed it to a local mechanic. At the time I was unaware of the recall.

My car is having the same issue as the new recall on the 2023-2025 Honda Pilot sport utility vehicles (SUVs), 2022-2025 Acura MDX Type-S SUVs and 2021-2025 with the power loss and my car is stalling. Sometimes when I turn my car on, put it in drive, impress my gas pedal it will not go.

All warning lights have been coming on for the last 3 years first time I was almost run over by 18 wheeler all warning lights came on the car lost power and I could not turn on hazard lights had to wave hands out window to alert traffic that my car was malfunctioning second time I was in on going traffic and all lights came on and car lost power had to use emergency brake to keep from getting hit from behind by ups truck I have attempted to take car back to dealership on several occasions and was told that my car was not on the recall for the bcm software malfunction and the fuel pump and that I would have to pay a 250 diagnostic fee I have only been successful at getting the back up camera recall replaced all other recall I was told that my VIN number was not included.

2018 Honda Accord had been parked for less than an hour while shopping. On return, entered car, put foot on brake and pushed the start button, immediate back pressure on brake pedal, audio warning of electrical system failure, messages on dash of electrical brake system failure (reason for this report), etc. Car would not start.

This is a leased 2018 honda accord, the vehicle has 8000 miles on it. The safety problem on this vehicle is that the electric system has shorted 5 batteries and has left me stranded in various locations, lending to unsafe conditions. The honda dealer has replaced 5 batteries on my vehicle and now my car has broken-down again making it six shorted batteries on a vehicle that barely has 8k miles.

I recently financed a vehicle thru american finance corporation via vandergriff honda (1104 w I-20 ; arlington, texas 76017). Shortly after purchase a recall repair was required for my vehicle. This work was done and completed on june 30th, 2020.

A supplemental restraint warning came on dashboard, I noticed other accord owners are experiencing the same this light has to do with possibly airbags or seatbelts making it possibly unsafe to drive.

Head Gasket caused multiple issues with coolant burning quickly. Multiple ignition coils also got damaged and had to be replaced. Though the underlying issue with the gasket was not addressed by the dealership.

It appears to be either the fuel pump or fuel injectors, at certain times of acceleration the car stops accelerating, the engine light blinks, I have to shut the car off and restart it. It seems like if I slow my car down then try to accelerate, like going through a roundabout or sitting in stop and go traffic really seems to set the problem off.

My supplemental restraint system problem keeps appearing on my dash at random times, sometimes will go away then sometimes will stay for over a year. I have heard this is ongoing and Honda has not issued a recall.

I am submitting this as a formal and urgent complaint regarding serious safety issues with a vehicle I recently purchased. The trunk opens on its own while I am driving, which creates an immediate safety hazard. In addition, the backup camera is malfunctioning, further increasing the risk when reversing or parking.

The car will have all lights on dashboard showing, car has been taken multiple times to dealership and nothing seems to be wrong but this cause all safety features to malfunction. I have talked with other Honda owners, on forums and acquaintances and they have similar issues.

All my warning lights keep coming on in dashboard and my car isn’t accelerating in cold weather after sitting overnight

I was driving in my car cut off in the middle of the highway. I was able to coast to side of the road. I took my car to the Honda accord dealership after that and was told it was my head gasket.

Recently bought this car a month ago. I started having problems with acceleration, as if the car was “bucking” every time I would press the gas normally at a red light or stop sign, accelerating from a stop. The vehicle wouldn’t make it up a hill while accelerating it was very hard bucking.

While trying to accelerate the car loses power. This has happened many times. The Honda dealership has said the system is on back order and they will call me when it’s available.

Condensor leak and compressor not working. Condensor replaced under Honda service bulletin but compressor not holding pressure.

I own a 2018 Honda Accord EX‑L (VIN#: [XXX]). Shortly after a service visit to a Honda dealer for unrelated maintenance (in Sep. 2024 with an estimated 50,000 miles), the dashboard began showing ‘Supplemental Restraint System Problem – See Dealer’.

The door locks are unresponsive using both the fob and the vehicle controls. The problem started with a rear door not locking or unlocking when the other doors would lock. Eventually all doors became unresponsive.

This is about the 5th time this has happened to the car. All warning lights appeared spontaneously while driving. The lights would turn off if the car was turned off for a long period of time or is we disconnected battery for a long period of time.

My locks failed and it took several repairs and they are still not working properly. I fear for my safety and the safety of my children. Honda told me sometimes locks just don’t work but that’s not appropriate to me as I paid the extended electric warranty but they cannot fix them.

Warning lights come all across the dash stating to see the dealer. I have taken it to the dealership and the issue is the fuel injector that causes the warning lights to go off and on at random. I still have a warranty of my car and was told the warranty does not cover that part.

I have 2018 Honda accord which has been recall About 3 weeks my car my car start skipping, when I was driving it so the 12/18/23 all the lights came on and the car started jerking around so I took it to the dealer and they told me found crack in spark plug They replaced the spark plugs adjusted the valve The car started jerking again on 12/25 /23 I took it to the dealer they told me the head is cracked and the spark plug is cracked different cylinder The brake and ACC radar light is still on and needs to be replace I send you all the invoices and work needs to be done to the Honda Corporation!

I left my purse in the car and went in to pick up puppy. The car doors had self locked with my purse and keys inside the car. I have reported to the dealership and Honda of America.

I was driving on the highway at about 65 miles/hour when I began to hear a hissing sound coming from the left most air vent. Within seconds, a strong electrical or burning rubber smell began to fill the cabin. The hissing sound eventually subsided.

For a while now, im noticing that the auto high beams on my 2018 honda accord ex-l 2.0t car isnt working. I've tried reseting the display audio unit, I've tried disabling/re-enabling auto high beam feature by pulling the high beam stick on the steering column - none of this has fixed the issue. In colder weather, the vehicle makes a drone like humming noise, similar to running a wet finger around a wine glass except louder. If I open the window it stops, it also stops below 5 MPH. It is very distracting, I almost went off the road trying to figure out where the noise is coming from.

1) when depressing the brake in motion or from a parked position there is a 'clicking' noise that happens intermittently. It sounds like a gear is stuck or something is stuck. It doesn't happen every time but it happens often enough that it is noticeable and does not sound like a normal noise.

Re: NHTSA recall 18v-629 dealer reprogrammed the display audio unit, as required by the recall. The reprogramming failed to solve the problem, in fact, it made it worse.. The display now starts and reboots at random while the car is being driven, including when it is in reverse.

Since purchasing the vehicle in july and especially over the course of the last two months the car has been exhibiting errors with the cpu (honda sensing) system on board. While riding down the interstate the automatic braking system slammed on the brakes. There was a semi truck in the lane beside me and for some reason it just applied the brakes and flashed the automatic brake warning sign while using the cruise control. I quickly hit the cancel button on the steering wheel to stop the braking.

My car passenger side tail gate trunk LED light damaged.

I have changed two batteries since I bought it first battery that it came with completely died and couldn't even get a jump. Changed it and now I have to keep getting jump everyday. My windshield has also cracked twice from passenger side to driver side.

I was driving the other night at 9pm. Dry conditions and about 65 degrees outside. I had pulled up to a stop sign and as I came to a complete stop by car started sending me warning notices.

Vehicle was unlocked when all keys were in home. This has happened multiple times at home and while traveling .car was stationary. Navigation system directions were garbled and was not able to comprehend what was said.

As I am driving on the freeway, the center screen will turn off and reset itself. This causes my hands-free to stop working if I am on the phone. Additionally, I am forced to touch the screen while I am driving in order to connect car play/ bluetooth which is hazardous.

The car has a sensor for breaking. On several occasions I have been driving and the car breaking system comes on making the vehicle come to a sudden stop. During several of these dangerous breaking events no vehicles or objects were in front of me.

On 3 seperate occasions the car has seen a shadow on the ground and slammed on brakes then releasing for no reason. There were no other vehicles around me on each occasion.
