Your windshield wipers stopped working while you were driving 60 mph in the rain, forcing you to slow down and exit the expressway. The dealer found that the totally integrated power module (TIPM) had failed and caused the body control module (BCM) to fail as well. The repair involved replacing both the TIPM and BCM to restore wiper function.
