Every time this car comes to a stop, it rocks back and forth significantly on its suspension. Even at low speeds, it is noticeable when breaking, with about a second and a half of five to six rebounds back and forth. It is highly prominent with stronger braking or stop-and-go traffic, resulting in about two seconds of hard rocking back and forth.

When making a sharp turn out of a parking lot I noticed a ticking or popping sound coming from the wheels. This was replicated a couple of times but not consistently. If the part is defective it could cause loss of control of the vehicle while turning.

As others have reported here and elsewhere online, my Prologue emergency braking/collision detection system repeatedly activates when there is no danger of a collision. Backing out of my driveway I can expect that 25-50% of the time the car will slam on the brakes for no reason and apply the parking brake, which I then have to disengage manually to continue backing out.

Suspension Related Issue: CV Axel Joints causing clicking, which is the most common issue among users of this car. Apparently the Driveshaft needs to get replaced as well. I got the right side done as the car was pulling to the right before the replacement, but the other part is on back order with no ETA.

I got the high voltage battery warning error on my dashboard after one random night of charging. The error doesn’t go away after 3 days and at times, the vehicle could not charge. I contacted my salesman and he suggested a hard reset which involved turning off the car and keeping the car fobs at least 20ft away, which worked.

Your car's CV joints are making clicking noises when you turn, and you've noticed some sticking during these turns. Your 2024 Honda Prologue displays warning messages about the high voltage system while driving, causing your acceleration to drop significantly and disabling the one-pedal regenerative braking feature — forcing you to rely on manual braking instead. The warning includes dashboard symbols (an orange turtle, a red battery, and a red car with exclamation points) and clears after a few days but returns repeatedly. Additionally, your vehicle makes a loud knocking noise from the CV joints when accelerating with the wheel turned.

Your front suspension is making a popping noise, which your Honda dealer confirmed is a known issue. Your 2024 Honda Prologue makes an abnormal clicking sound while driving, especially when turning. The dealer confirmed the issue during a test drive and told you it's a common problem, but didn't provide details about what's causing it. Your vehicle is under warranty, but the dealer said the repair is waiting for approval and hasn't been completed yet. The fix will likely involve inspecting and replacing worn suspension or drivetrain components that are causing the clicking noise.

At slower speeds and tight turning, there is a clacking sound that occurs. I went to the dealer, and they say it is a known issue, but that Honda doesn't have a fix for it yet and didn't say whether they would fix it or not. I read this has something to do with CV joints and axle, and that is concerning that it could become a safety concern.

When driving my Honda 2024 Prologue there is a loud, persistent, clunking or popping sound whenever I turn. The dealership says it's related to the axle and/or the ball joint and there is no fix, neither is there a recall, so there is nothing they can, or will, do. This cannot be safe.

The left front CV joint or drive axel is starting to fail. There is a clicking/popping noise when accelerating from a sharp turn. The noise is getting worse as I drive the car and will probably lead to premature failure of the CV joint/drive axel which is a huge safety risk since it may cause loss of acceleration and/or loss of steering.

I have just over 8,000 miles, and now when I turn left or right there is clicking sounds coming from the front suspension (left tire area when turning left, right tire area when turning right). I've had the vehicle (bought used) for about 1500 miles now. I don't notice anything other than the clicking sound, but I'm afraid that there might be more wrong with the suspension.

It's a noise coming from the front of both tires; it's a very, very unpleasant noise that's a little frightening because it's in the suspension area of the tires, and it sounds like something could break. The noise is also very loud and quite annoying. It's uncomfortable to drive with that noise all the time; it's constant when turning left or right.
