ABS control module failed. It put me at risk because my car shut down on me while driving could have resulted in a car accident.

Speakers produce full volume static, this loud static sound is unavoidable, it occurs randomly when the car is on and when the audio is on, but once it starts making static sounds, it won't stop. Source input also does not matter.

Car radio, and the upper screen on top of the car radio restarts at random times either when using it or not using it, CarPlay restart the radio as well the upper screen random times when it restarts as well as the radio will not show you current drive trip or fuel amount. It goes in and out and restarts. The whole system went to the dealership many times and they say they see nothing wrong.

Dear NHTSA, I am writing to report a recurring and potentially dangerous issue with my 2017 Honda Accord EX-L. The vehicle emits sudden, extremely loud static and high-pitched noise from the speakers—often occurring in hot weather and even when the audio system is turned off.

Driver door and driver side rear door lock actuators both failed very untimely. Car has 55,000 miles on it and is garage kept and accident free. I needed to replace both components as the doors would not lock or unlock and posed an extreme safety hazard.

I had the radio replaced under warranty but the problem was never solved and only gave a 90day warranty on a refurbished unit. I complained about the refurbished unit and they refused to put a new unit under the waranty.

The vehicle turn off and on while driving on the highway, is like the engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. I'm aware there's no recall on my vehicle, however, it's a known issue that Honda had voluntarily recall approximately 2.6 million 2017-2020 Honda vehicles in the United States to replace their fuel pumps, for free due to a similar issue.

this system is malfunctioning and braked suddenly twice and I almost got rear ended. now the system is not working and the dealer at diamond honda wont repair.

I purchased the car new on 9/16/16. Since I bought my 2017 accord many times after driving the car and turning off the engine I tried to start it didn't I had to have it a boost then it runs fine with some dash lights on then they disappear once I drive after many times I took it to the dealer they said your battery is good and no electrical problem and then I read online I saw tons of people talking about the same issue and they had to replace honda battery to a bigger battery with higher cca because this battery is weak and it cause a stall consequently a crash or the car will not start if you are in the middle of nowhere it's clear this is a honda problem that I'll have to buy a bigger battery with higher cca and capacity to avoid as they said(not honda) this problem to happen again thank you very much this car is 28 days old

The car caught on fire by itself, a car only with 13,000 miles and 1 year of usage that means almost brand new car. I drove 9 miles aprox. From home to my work location.

I own a 2017 Honda Accord “Touring” model that has developed an intermittent audio problem (described below) that is a safety issue because it causes serious driver distraction and impatience to reach a destination to turn the car off. There is NO WAY for the driver to stop the problem without turning the car completely off.

I received an indication on my dash that there was an issue with the SRS system. I took the vehicle to a certified Honda dealership for diagnostic treatment and it was determined that the wires on the passenger seat had been rubbing on the track that the seat slides on and consequently tore the SRS wires near the passenger seat belt causing a failure in the restraint system.

My rear view camera has been broken for about 2 years, it just completely stopped working. I took my car to the dealership and they confirmed my camera was defective and said that my extended warranty would cover it, I still haven’t taken it in to be fixed yet but I just wanted to report this issue.

The in dash stereo system with Bluetooth makes loud static noises, regardless of whether the stereo system is on or off. The static noise is extremely loud and unpleasant, and should be considered a safety hazard. The only way to make it stop is to pull the fuse for the head unit.

The rear doors will not lock/unlock when using the keyless remote. I have replaced the rear doors actuators in June 2022 because the rear doors would not lock/unlock unless I manually locked/unlocked the doors which is a pain. On Thursday July 14, while driving on HWY 278, the car had a sudden failure and starting decelerating. It almost got me and my daughter who was riding with me at the time killed. Only the grace of God protected us!!!

Alternator failed at 35,106 miles-it was replaced at my expense

Part number39530-t2a-a31 repair cost $550 honda designed a deficient plastic clip to hold the rear camera in place on the car trunk. After normal use opening and closing the trunk the clip breaks and the entire unit must be replaced. After 23,000 driven miles (44 months) the clip broke and I spent $550 to repair it.

Vehicle has been dead on 4+ occasions. Stationary, in garage. Vehicle is driven as little as once per week at times but the battery or electric draw has caused the car to fail in as little as a couple days or even trunk being open for 15-20min.

Recently took my car in for car doc maintenance for and an oil change. Paperwork states the battery is good. I took my car in for a recall, when I got to the dealership I tried to roll up my window it went half way up and than came back down, I tried this several times in front of 3 service men, they said that's strange I said I know this just happened. So of course when I dropped off me car they could not figure out why it would not do that for them, but of course the car was turned off by than.

So there are a few issues with my 2017 honda accord sport first one is the tire whooshing sound it makes I know I have seen many people complain about the same thing and I have took it to the dealer but they are unable to do anything until a recall is made very frustrating that I have to wait until a recall is made to get this problem fixed second issue my tpm keeps coming on I just took it for an oil change and had the tire pressure checked and adjusted and barley a day later it comes back on the this has been going on for the last 3 months I checked the tires they are in really good condition lots of life on them and same response from the dealer can't do anything super frustrating third issue is that when it is hot outside and the inside of my car gets hot my screen shuts off I am talking this one in to the dealer to leave it hopefully they can get it fixed and don't give me the same answer as I got for all my other issues

The vehicle was park in the driveway at night and when we came out at night the windows and sunroof where fully open on a rainy night so I have a lot of water damage also. I seen that people say that the remote could had been press but that is not possible because the keys where just laying on the table. Also the cmara to back up and the lane changing don't work sometimes.

The head unit and stereo system will play static non stop at the highest volume possible. Turning the radio off, the sound off, etc. nothing stops it.

I had noticed a couple of weeks ago that I would try and start the car and it was struggling to start. Two weeks ago I tried to turn on my car and it would not start. I had to jump start it.

Carplay freezes or disconnects randomly when in use. Will be driving with navigation is frozen so would be driving past destination and cause a distraction trying to fix it. Or it will randomly disconnect when in use and will keep my eyes of road trying to connect it again or hold my phone while navigating.

Backup camera not displaying on display screen when in reverse. Impedes safety because I cannot accurately reverse due to the trunk size. Cannot see any incoming cars when I am in reverse.

The radio/GPS System began to static really loud on its on without me touching the dial. The only way it would stop is when I turned off the vehicle. Honda refused to acknowledge this safety hazard as a factory defect.

Apple Car Play freezes up on the 2017 Honda Accord while the navigation is in play, distracting the driver while on the freeway. The driver does not know when this freeze happens until they miss their exit, causing a big distraction. These cars are being sold as compatible with the Apple phones, but this is not true.

I have continue to have issues with my navigation freezing. Then the whole navigation system will shut off and will eventually do a reboot in the middle of driving. It is definitely a safety hazard as you are trying to drive, navigate and try to figure out why your navigation system is breaking and not working working while driving.

Positive and fused negative battery cables corrosion caused battery failure.

Daytime running burnt out.

My car was parked, and I switched to the r gear to back out, but my rear camera would not work. My screen was all black but my yellow parking guidelines were still visible. I tried to change the camera view to see if that would help.

My car battery keep dying if I dont drive car only for 2 days

The car battery does not hold charge. If the car is not used for three days to a week, the battery is completely dead. The car must be jump start.

The backup camera is flashing and black so I cannot see the view while in reverse. The guidelines still appear and the screen works for all other functions.

Last night I had just gotten home from worked and gone in the house to change for church. Less than 5 minutes later, I returned to my car and when trying to start it, it would start up. Lights flickered on dash, but it wouldn't turn over.

Car won't turn over at random times. Cleaned terminals and tested battery and alternator which are good.

Battery died after less than 2 yrs of use. Battery dies about once a week what can I do, very dangerous if happen to me in the middle of the nigh.

My car braking system and all the safety systems stopped functioning on my car while I was on the highway (garden state parkway south) this morning, 3/15/2019. My brakes did not work to slow the car down at all. When it initially started to show the error messages I tried to use the brakes and it felt like my car accelerated.

On 2/28/19 @5:15 pm got in my car started it up and when I did everything in the video was happening so I immediately went to butler honda in milledgeville ga where they checked it out and stated that it was camera's malfunctioning and that they would order a new camera. On friday which was 3/1/19. And they will give me a call on monday..

Battery died after less than 2 years of use. Needed to replace. No electrical use of the vehicle, pep boys says its a common issue with new hondas.

The vehicle was parked and locked. When I returned to the vehicle four hours later all four windows and the sun roof were fully opened. The key fob was in my pocket the entire time I was away from the vehicle.
