After investigation, you discovered that the security immobilizer system locked your engine, which created a dangerous situation. WIFE WAS DRIVING THE CAR WHEN THE ROOF LINEAR FABRIC CAME OUT BLOCKING HER VISIBILITY FROM THE REAR. SHE COULD NOT SEE DRIVING IN THE FAST LANE AND WITH THE BABY IN THE BACK SHE PANICKED AND PULLED OVER. HALF OF THE ROOF LINEAR CAME DOWN BLOCKING VISIBILITY TO THE REAR AND TO THE SIDES.

CAR WAS INVOLVED IN ACCIDENT THE TOW COMPANY ON SCENE WAS TOLD TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOP WE DESIRED IT TO BE FIXED IN. INSTEAD THE DRIVER AT DAVRON AUTO REPAIR AND COLLISION 2425 BROADWAY BUFFALO NY 14212 (716)894-0592 SAID THEY HAVE TO BRING IT TO THERE SHOP DUE TO THE WEATHER THEREFORE WE WERE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL TOW FEE 2 DAYS LATER WHEN THE BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO WEAR WE WANTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. OUR FAMILY IS REFUGEE FROM BURMA. WE FEEL LIKE WE HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF PLEASE HELP THANK YOU GOD BLESS.

HELLO, ON MY WAY TO GROCERY STORE I REALIZED THAT MY CAR WASN'T ROLLING SMOOTHLY. THEN I LOOK ON MY DASHBOARD AND FOUND THE STEERING LIGHT AND BATTERY LIGHT POPPED UP THEN AFTER HALF BLOCK ALL OTHER LIGHT LITE UP AND THE WORST PART WAS THE STEERING WHEEL MOVEMENT WAS HARDER I WOULD SAY IT WAS NEXT TO STEER SO I USED EMERGENCY LIGHT AND PULLED THE CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED OFF THE ENGINE. AFTER 10-15 MINUTES I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE AND SAFELY REACHED A GARAGE THERE THE TECHNICIAN AFTER INSPECTION TOLD ME THAT THE PARTS SEEMS TO BE FINE AND CAR NEEDS A SOFTWARE UPDATE . WHICH CAN ONLY BE DONE BY A DEALER.

ONE DAY AS I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT, I HAPPEN TO USE MY HIGH BEAMS. ONCE TURNING THEM ON, IT SHUT MY ENGINE OFF WHILE IN MOTION. THERE WERE NO PRIOR SERVICES DONE TO MY MY CAR THAT WOULD MAKE ME THINK IT COULD BE MALFUNCTIONING DUE TO A MECHANIC'S ERROR. I ALSO TRIED TURNING MY HIGH BEAMS ON WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND IN PARK. IT STILL SHUT MY ENGINE OFF. EVERY MECHANIC I ASKED FOR A DIAGNOSTIC, THEY WERE BLOWN AND RESPONDED WITH NEVER HEARING OF THIS PROBLEM. I REPLACED THE OLD ALTERNATOR WITH A NEW ONE AND IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING. SINCE THE PURCHASE OF MY CAR, THE ONLY PARTS I REPLACED WAS AND O-RING FOR THE POWER STEERING, BRAKE CALIBERS AND ROTORS AND RECENTLY THE ALTERNATOR. I COMPLETELY STOPPED DRIVING IT TO PREVENT ANY FURTHER DAMAGE OR POSSIBLE ACCIDENTS.

WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY, GEAR SHIFTING KNOB POPPED OUT. IT WAS BROKEN IN MULTIPLE PIECES. WITH OUT THE KNOB, YOU CANNOT SHIFT THE GEAR. ALTHOUGH, YOU CAN TURN OF THE ENGINE, YOU CANNOT REMOVE THE KEY UNTIL THE GEAR IS SHIFT TO "PARKING". WITHOUT THE KNOB, GEAR CANNOT BE SHIFTED.

SEVERELY MALFUNCTIONING POLLUTION CONTROL SYSTEM OR ENGINE FAILURE THAT EMITS BURNING OIL AND TOXIC SMOKE. THIS VEHICLE WA PLATE AWJ1933 WAS EMITTING BURNING OIL AND NITROUS OXIDE COMPONENTS THAT WERE VISIBLE TO THE HUMAN EYE. THIS VEHICLE WAS AT THE INTERSECTION OF 112TH AVE/GHER RD AND SR500. IT WAS IDLING AND POLLUTING CANCEROUS CLOUDS. IT SEEMS THERE IS NO ONLINE REPORTING FORM FOR VEHICLE AIR POLLUTION IN WA STATE, BUT THERE IS ONE IN OREGON.

MY CAR IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH STABILITY CONTROL, BUT IT DOES HAVE TRACTION CONTROL, WHICH CAN BE DISABLED BY A SWITCH ON THE LEFT END OF THE DASHBOARD. THE TRACTION CONTROL SEEMS TO WORK WELL AT SPEEDS ABOVE 30 MPH, BUT WHEN STARTING OUT, IF THE CAR HITS A SLIPPERY PATCH, INSTEAD OF PULSING THE BRAKES TO KEEP THE WHEELS FROM SPINNING, AS THE CHRYSLER LHS I OWNED PREVIOUSLY DID, IT SIMPLY GIVES UP, CUTTING MOST OF THE ENGINE POWER, LEAVING THE CAR UNABLE TO GO MORE THAN 2 OR 3 MPH. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS WHEN CROSSING INTERSECTIONS WITH STOP SIGNS AND CAN EVEN CREATE A HAZARD WHEN THE INTERSECTION IS CONTROLLED BY A STOP LIGHT. IT CAN BE AVOIDED BY DISABLING THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM BEFORE HAND, BUT THE DISABLE BUTTON WON'T WORK IF UNLESS THE CAR IS AT A COMPLETE STOP, CREATING A PANIC SITUATION IF THE SYSTEM KICKS IN UNEXPECTEDLY. NO CAR SHOULD BE ALLOWED ON THE ROAD WITH A SYSTEM LIKE THIS, BUT MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT A NUMBER OF OTHER MAKES EXHIBIT THE SAME BEHAVIOR, POSSIBLY DUE TO A COMMON VENDOR. THERE ARE TRAFFIC DEATHS DUE TO IMPROPERLY TIMED INTERSECTION CROSSINGS EVERY DAY, AND GIVEN THE BEHAVIOR OF SYSTEMS LIKE THIS, I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT NO DEATHS HAVE RESULTED FROM IT. I'VE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO RECOGNIZE THE SYSTEM'S BAD BEHAVIOR AND DISABLE IT MORE OFTEN THAN I WOULD HAVE TO DISABLE A PROPERLY DESIGNED SYSTEM; THE AVERAGE DRIVER SHOULD NOT BE FACED WITH SUCH A BURDEN. PLEASE TAKE ACTION AGAINST ALL OF THE COMPANIES THAT ALLOWED A SYSTEM LIKE THIS TO GET ONTO OUR ROADS. PLEASE NOTE THAT I LISTED THE "DATE OF INCIDENT" AS THE FIRST OCCURRENCE I RECALL, BECAUSE A DATE WAS REQUIRED, BUT THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING, AND I HAVE BEEN TAKING PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID IT, FROM THE TIME I GOT THE CAR IN 2006 UP TO NOW. STARTED HAVING TROUBLE GETTING KEY IN LOCK APPROX. 3/1/15. PROGRESSED TO NOT BEING ABLE TO GET KEY IN DOOR AT ALL AROUND 5/1/15. SERVICED AT HONDA DEALERSHIP ON 5/7/15 WITH LOCK CYLINDER AND ARRANGED TUMBLERS FOR ORIGINAL KEY. WORKED OKAY UNTIL 6/20/15. AT THIS TIME I INSERTED MY KEY, BUT KEY WOULD NOT TURN TO UNLOCK MY DOOR. ENTERED THE PASSENGER DOOR AND TRIED TO UNLOCK DOOR MANUALLY BY PULLING UP DOOR LOCK - WOULD NOT BUDGE. AFTER I CRAWLED ACROSS THE CENTER CONSOLE I GIGGLED DOOR A FEW TIMES AND WAS ABLE TO PULL UP DOOR LOCK. DROVE HOME AND TRIED OPENING DOOR WITH KEY AND IT WORKED FINE. TODAY, 6/22/15 WHEN I RETURNED HOME FROM THE STORE I PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND LOCKED THE DOOR. WHEN I REALIZED THAT I HAD LOCKED IT I TRIED TO UNLOCK IT WITH THE KEY. AGAIN, THE KEY WOULD GO IN, BUT IT WOULD NOT TURN TO UNLOCK THE DOOR. CALLED HONDA DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE THE ACTUATOR. I KNOW HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE MY CAR SERVICED FOR THIS PROBLEM. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING AFTER GOING ON LINE THAT THIS IS A LONG STANDING PROBLEM THAT HONDA HAS BEEN AWARE OF, BUT OBVIOUSLY WAS UNWILLING TO RECALL AND FIX. I BELIEVE THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION SUIT FILLED, HOWEVER I WAS UNAWARE OF IT AND MY 2005 WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SUIT. SINCE THIS IS STILL AN ONGOING PROBLEM IT IS LONG PAST TIME FOR HONDA TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPLACING THESE ACTUATORS AT THEIR EXPENSE NOT MINE.

DURING THE COOLER SEASON, WHILE PARKED THE BRAKE VACUUM SYSTEM LOSE THE BRAKE VACUUM. SO WHEN YOU GET IN AND PRESS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL IT IS HARD SINCE THERE IS NO MORE VACUUM IN THE BRAKE BOOSTER. THIS IS DANGEROUS IF YOU ARE PARKED ON A HILL WITH VEHICLES AROUND YOU. YOU COULD END UP HITTING ANOTHER VEHICLE. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE BRAKE VACUUM SYSTEM COULD FAIL WHILE DRIVING MAKING BRAKING INEFFECTIVE.

I HAVE A HONDA 2005 ACCORD, JUST TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALER EARLIER THIS MORNING, AND THE SERVICE ADVISOR LOOKED AT THE CONDENSER RIGHT AWAY AND SHOWN ME THE "DENT", PROBABLY FROM A PEBBLE. AND THAT HE SAID IT IS A VERY COMMON ON THE HONDA ACCORD. I DEFINITELY BELIEVE THAT THIS A DESIGN FLAW IF THERE ARE SO MANY INCIDENTS ON THIS. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ROAD DEBRIS.. THEY ARE GOING TO GIVE ME A CALL AND GIVE ME A PRICE ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIR. *JB

THE AIR CONDITIONING ON MY 2005 HONDA ACCORD HYBRID FAILED WHILE ON A NEW YEAR HOLIDAY VISIT TO ARIZONA. WHEN I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL DEALER FOR REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT IS DUE TO DAMAGE FROM ROAD DEBRIS MAKING A HOLE IN THE CONDENSER, AND THAT IT WOULD COST ME $875 TO REPAIR. THIS WOULD SEEM TO BE A DESIGN FAULT, PUTTING SOMETHING SO APPARENTLY FRAGILE AT THE FRONT OF A CAR, BEHIND AN OPENING 28 1/2 INCHES BY 5 WITH ONLY ONE HORIZONTAL BAR UNDER 1/4 INCH WIDE AND 3 VERTICALS LESS THAN 1/8 INCH WIDE. FOR A FEW DOLLARS, THEY COULD PROTECT IT WITH A MESH GRILL AND SAVE WHAT INTERNET RESEARCH SEEMS TO SHOW HAPPENING TO MORE THAN A FEW PEOPLE ON SEVERAL HONDA MODELS. *JB

AC CONDENSER PRONE TO DAMAGE. WITH THE PLACEMENT OF THE CONDENSER, IT IS EASILY DAMAGED BY FLYING OBJECTS HITTING IT DURING THE DRIVE. I WENT TO THE DEALER TO DROP OFF MY CAR EARLIER TODAY TO CHECK ON THE AC PROBLEM AND THE FIRST THING THE SERVICE ADVISOR DID WAS LOOK AT THE CONDENSER AND SHOW ME THE MANY DENTS AND MARKS. HE SAID LIKELY, IT WAS HIT BY A LITTLE PEBBLE WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND THAT IT IS A VERY COMMON FOR THE CONDENSER TO BE DAMAGED SMALL FLYING OBJECTS. I ONLY HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR 1.5 YEARS. I DID A QUICK CHECK ONLINE AND SOMEONE ELSE ALSO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND SHE ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR LESS THAN 3 MONTHS. *JB

VEHICLE PURCHASED 8/1/2006, PASSED SAFETY INSPECTION BY HONDA DEALER. BEGINNING ON 9/1/2006 AIR CONDITIONER RETURNED NO COLD AIR. HONDA DEALER CLAIMS A ROCK IMPACT CAUSED A HOLE IN THE AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSER, LEADING TO A LEAKING OF REFRIGERANT AND LOSS OF COOLING FUNCTION. I BELIEVE THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW, AS THE PROBLEM IS WELL-DOCUMENTED BY MANY CONSUMERS. HONDA REFUSED TO COVER THE REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY, INSTEAD CHARGING THE CONSUMER $750. *JB
