2015 Ford Focus Cruise Control Problems

Regrettably, the 2015 Ford Focus hatchback I purchased has been plagued by a series of critical issues. These include recurring starting problems, erratic gear behavior, such as hesitating to move in Drive and unexpectedly moving forward in Reverse, sudden and dangerous deceleration while on highways, and an incessantly illuminated tire pressure warning light.

2015 Ford Focus, 67,000 miles would jerk , shudder & shut off completely , it would not accelerate or reverse half of the time. Stops in the middle of no wear.. the engine light would come on for a few days then go off and come up again..

I have gotten my car to the dealer for the various recalls and my car still is unsafe five separate instances my car has slowed to near stopping and three of those instances where on a major highway with children in the car of those three times I've been lucky that I have stayed and continued to drive on the right near the emergency lane.

Have had my ford focus just over 2 months. When I bought it noticed that it seemed to hesitate with acceleration after I come to a complete stop. Took it back to dealer they assured me that they reset my transmission and everything would be fine.

The accelerator pedal was depressed but failed to accelerate. The RPM increased to high. The message that the engine was running hot was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that a clutch replacement was needed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 41,180.

There have been several instances, while driving highway speed limits and when braking, the car accelerates for a few seconds before the vehicle brakes and slows down. This can be very dangerous especially if traffic stops unexpectedly. I have a couple close calls.

Vehicle is shuddering on acceleration is doing it more often and worse

Purchased used from a ford dealer used 2015 ford focus. Was told that vehicle had to lern my style of driving. Car shutters when going accelerating, take time to shift between 1,2,3, gears.

The car shut off on me while driving and I scheduled the dealership to fix it because I found similar issues and a recall but when I dropped my car off they said no recall existed for my car and there is nothing they can about my car. When I was leaving the dealership I almost got hit in traffic because I had the same issue for two days in a row and it keeps happening.

When I push on gas it take a while to speed up. Also it idols sometimes. Take awhile to gear up to speed.

When accelerating the transmission is stuttering, grinding and performing poorly. Ford said that this is happening because "I drive too carefully, the transmission is designed to be driven aggressively and will get stuck between gears unless you 'floor it'".

Car will go into reverse but won’t move. Car will not go over 2500 RPM and won’t go over 11 MPH

The car has a known recall about the fuel system the car will randomly just shut off without warning ford said you must keep the car on a half tank of gas at all times.they don't have the parts but my car is getting so bad very very bad

Takata recall my clutch was messed up in this car when I first leased it from us auto sales back in february 2017 and I had rental for a week only because the warranty covered it. Now the clutch is messed again and I was told I'll have to pay $2000 for it to be fix!
