2016 Ford Explorer Wheels Problems

Hankook tries are shredding and premature tire wear. Vehicle has less than 33k miles. Shredded tires causing vehicle to slip and slide on the road while in motion.

The tires on this vehicle have gone completely bald despite proper pressure and rotation. With only 22000 miles on this vehicle it is more than clear there is a manufacturer issue with these tires. There are over 2000 on-line articles regarding this issue but very few know to file their complaints here.

Hankook ventus s1 noble 2 tires 265/50r20 105h have 22,150 miles on them and the tread is already 1/2 worn. I have a 2015 taurus sho with 20,550 miles (michelin tires) and the tread is in perfect condition. Server dealer checked wear, wear is even on all 4 tires.

Vehicle started to feel heavy, and vibrate harder through the gas pedal and steering wheel. I took it to my local auto shop and the wheel bearing needs replaced.

Premature tire wear causing inadequate traction in adverse weather conditions

Tires have less than 18,000 miles on them and have numerous cuts and gouges throughout. Tires are skidding on wet roads causing for unsafe driving conditions. Ford and hankook are saying that it's not a safety concern and that my tires could be pro-rated.

Hankook tires are shredding under norman city driving. Car has approx 30,000 kms. Side are perfect, only in the center of the tire is there any shredding.

I rotate my tires every 7000 to 8000 miles but the tires are wearing prematurely. I've been told that it is safe to drive but these shouldn't be happening on a vehicle with less than 40,000 miles.

My explorer has 29k miles on it and the hankook tires are peeling! I notified the service department spoke to julio. Was told it is a common complaint w these tires and it's because they are cheaply made!

Ford explorer sport with 14,800 miles and tires are completely worn on outer and inner bands. Chunks of tire are falling off and are now needing replacement. Ford says normal wear and defers to manufacturer even though within 100 miles of owning this vehicle they had to replace a tire due to extreme imbalance.

I live in gainesville, fl, which has very good roads and I drive 99% of the time within city other than going to orlando or jacksonville on i75. Parts of the hankook ventus s1 noble2 255/50r20 105h tire treads are just ripping off for no apparent reason on all my tires and this is an AWD vehicle. It has 17,000 miles. This vehicle is just used by wife to drop off my son at school.
