2016 Dodge Grand Caravan Electrical Problems

Sliding doors do not work. Driver side sliding door stopped working 1 month after purchasing from dealership, and passenger door only opens and closes some times. Safety of my family/passengers are affected seriously if there were any accident or failure for passenger door to completely stop working.

My wife was stopped at a drive through window in DRIVE when the engine stalled. It wouldn’t crank over and needed to be pushed out of the way and towed. The TIPM failed and needed to be replaced.

Today the other sliding door (driver side rear sliding door) stopped working, locking my 4 month old, 2 year old and 4 year old in the rear of the van.

Drivers side sliding door does not unlock. Causing vehicle door not to open on command. Was told it has faulty actuator.

The latch system in my sliding doors are going out. Apparently this is a very common problem with dodge vans, especially 2016 models. I only have 58k on the van and have only owned it 2 years.

The sliding driver's side door will not unlock either electronically or manually. This is a safety hazard as that door can no longer be opened. Also, the sliding passenger door will no longer lock except manually.

2016 dodge durango. The tailgate lights gets water in them every time is rains. The bulbs burn out and you can't replace the bulbs yourself.

Takata recall - our problem is that the sliding side doors will not open. One played out about 6 months ago and the other played out a week ago. I've took it to be checked out at auto zone and none of the fuzzes were blown out.

This has caused some electrical issues and now some of the LED have shorted. Visibility of my rear lights has decreased because of the moisture inside the taillight.

When vehicle is parked, side door ceases to function and will neither unlock or open. Has happened to both passengers doors and is extremely dangerous as it is impossible to exit the car through the passenger space at any time.

Tail light bar across back collects water (bad seals). Now has shorted out and tail light bar and tag lights do not work. Not covered under my extended warranty

Driver's side sliding door will not unlock or open in any way. It cannot be unlocked with keyfob, electrical unlock button, or manually pushing the lock. The door cannot be opened by pulling on the handle (inside or outside), pushing on the door open button next to interior handle, or pushing the door open button on ceiling control panel.

The drivers side rear sliding door will not unlock preventing the door from being opened. It is stuck shut and will not unlock manually, electronically, or with the fob.
