Your vehicle was in 4-wheel drive mode when you didn't realize it. When you turned the steering wheel while driving forward or in reverse, your brakes locked up completely, preventing the vehicle from moving. You had to straighten the wheel and manually maneuver the truck to get it to park, but the brakes kept fighting against your acceleration attempts. The dashboard didn't warn you to switch back to 2-wheel drive mode. A Toyota service center switched it back to 2-wheel drive and confirmed there was no damage. This issue likely involves checking the 4-wheel drive engagement system and brake control software.

Your truck's lane departure warning system is actively steering your vehicle across lane lines and out of your lane, sometimes continuing to steer even after you've crossed the white line. Toyota has confirmed this is happening but claims it's normal behavior due to system limitations and says they won't fix it. This means your truck may unexpectedly steer itself out of your lane during normal driving.

Lane keeping will kamikaze the vehicle on to exit ramps or exit only lanes when engaged at a highway speed. This seems most common when the truncated lane markers, usually used on exit-only lanes, and not the full length lane markers (the center line markings).
