Your blind spot warning light got stuck on and wouldn't turn off after two vehicles passed closely together in your blind spot at highway speed. When you used your turn signal, the lane departure system automatically steered your car to the left, thinking a vehicle was still there, which caused you to swerve and feel the steering was dangerously intrusive. The warning light only disappeared after you shut off the engine, waited 10 minutes, and restarted the car.
