2015 Nissan Versa Note Engine Problems

Sometimes stepping on the gas pedal does absolutely nothing. This has happened several times since owning the car. You can press the gas pedal all the way to the floor and it won't do anything at all.

My nissan versa has 56,000 miles and I haven't had any issues with this car or any warning lights etc. Yesterday I drove my car and every time I stopped at a traffic light or stop sign the car would shut off then restart but then shut off immediately again. The RPM gauge needle was moving between 1 and 2 really fast.

When I accelerate my car makes a pinging noise,like the ball in a spray can. The dealer checked the car and said they heard no pinging sound. This was about 4 months ago.

Smells exhaust fumes whenever interior ventilation " fan " switch is turn on - without a/c.

The engine completely shut off on my 2015 nissan versa note 3 times now. In all 3 situations, my car was in idle in drive mode and the engine shut down. I restarted the car the first time it happened and I attempted to drive and it shut down again.
