Your 2024 Nissan Altima was involved in a severe collision at approximately 20 mph when struck by another vehicle traveling at 80+ mph, totaling the car. Despite the significant impact, none of the airbags deployed—not the front airbags or side curtain airbags—even though both occupants were wearing seatbelts. There were no warning lights or prior issues with the airbag system before the crash. The airbag system may need to be inspected by Nissan to determine why the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) failed to deploy during this major accident.
