2019 Honda Odyssey Airbags Problems

While merging onto the highway, your passenger-side curtain airbag suddenly deployed without any impact, collision, or warning signs. You safely pulled over despite reduced visibility, and police confirmed there was no crash, damage to your vehicle, or other vehicles involved. On 2/27/25 while driving my 2019 Honda Odyssey on the hwy the passenger side curtain airbags deployed after running over a pothole in the road. The "Airbag System (SRS) Problem" warning appears too often. We have brought it several times to (different) mechanics and each time they find something else wrong. After several thousand dollars spent (whether it is replacing the module, airbags, wires, etc.) the warning light eventually comes back on.

Van had srs code on from when bought by original owner. I bought van recently and tried to fix the issue I had the airbag replaced and the error went on a few days later. While looking into the issue I spoke to a few mechanic's who have both seen this issue with other vans with the same make and model.
