2015 Ford Fusion Airbags Problems

The contact owned a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at unknown speeds off the freeway in the rain, a 2006 Ford Fusion veered into her lane and hit her vehicle, which caused her to drive on the curb and hit a metal light pole and telephone pole. There were no warning lights illuminated.

Was hit in a head on collision and air bags did not deploy

I was stopped at a stop sign and was hit head on and the air bags never deployed. Damage to my grill, hood, bumper, side panels and driver side door wouldn't open. The impact should have caused my air bags to deploy.

Takata recall - I was involved in an accident 1/26/19. Big ford truck hit me in my passenger side about the middle of the car toward the rear. It sent my car into a complete 360 spin across 2 lanes of traffic.

'takata recall' on 6 feb 2019, my son was cut off by another driver causing him to hydroplane off of the highway and through a ditch, making contact with a tree. The fusion suffered moderate damage to the front end, and undercarriage. None of the air bags in the vehicle deployed even with the front end removed.

Was rear ended turning off mountain highway by an f350 and a van hit the truck that hit me, he was going at least 50 miles an hour when he hit me felt like he shoved me so hard I was airborne!!! No airbag went off which the officer who was on a witness to the accident and then stopped and made sure everyone was ok !! My body still hurts !!

I was driving my car at the day time and I wanted to avoid a deer crossing the road, the car steering wheel locked up and could not turned the wheel. Consequently, the car hits a tree and got totally damage.

I brought a 2015 Ford Fusion and the airbags was missing as well as unrepairable overheating issues in the engine. I replaced the whole cooling system and the reason for overheating still can’t be determined. I brought the car for $5000 and had $3000 of work done and it is still not drivable.

1.Air bag-control module :P&A RCM failed. 2.control module not working that's mean upon impact the sensors will send the signal to the control module ,but the module will not be able to initiate the deployment of the airbags,putting the passengers of the vehicles at risk. 3.yes the component been inspected by ford dealership .

On May 15, 2023 I got in my car, proceeded to drive off when I noticed that the airbag light was still illuminated on the instrument panel. I notified the dealership the next day and dropped my car off on May 17, 2023. On May 19 a diagnostics test was run and revealed that I had a faulty seat belt buckle. I declined service on the car. This was shocking to me since I took my car to them less than 4000 miles and less than a year ago for the airbag light staying on again in 2022. At that time it was revealed that it was the passenger seat position sensor & it was repaired. In 2020 my car was also a part of Recall 19S25 for the seat belt. In 2018 repairs were also done on my car due to the airbag light coming on as well. I'm driving the car but now don't know if it is safe to drive. When I picked up the car, the light was still on but about 4-5 days later the light went off by itself. The passenger seat has barely been used since I purchased the car in 2015. After the repairs were done in 2022, the seat/seat belt has not been used so I don't understand how it can be faulty. It seems to me that there's a defect somewhere and it should be investigated. I would appreciate if this is given serious consideration. When I spoke with Ford Motor Company, they told me to contact you to have you investigate the matter. Air bag light came in, ford dealer says seatbelt retractor pin broken, electrical connection corroded and entire assembly needs replaced! The have a service alert on this problem but no recall. Airbag will not operate until fixed!

Vehicle displayed airbag warning light. After ford inspected the vehicle they stated that the defect was in the driver's seat belt buckle and that it would need to be replaced at a cost of $400. Ford stated that the defect would not allow the air bags to deploy.

The passengers air bag will not turn on for my 5"4 105lb wife when she sits in the seat. Ford / the dealer claim it may break her neck; I don't think so. She has a functioning airbag in her toyota sai (in japan).

The contact was concerned due to the air bag casing being out of place and could experience a failure with the front passenger side air bag.

I have a 2015 ford fusion with around 37000miles. But the sealing between air bag and passenger side dashboard are broken. I'm afraid that the air bag might pumped out under normal condition if the cracks are too big.

Takata recall.... My girlfriend wrecked my car off a t-road trying to miss deer and did major damage to the front end. The air bags did not deploy at all.

The passenger seat air bag sensor turns off, even when there is a passenger present if the seat is high or if the seat is forward. It happens when when the car is being driven uphill, downhill, flat road and stationary.

As I was driving down the road at 20 MPH, the center of my steering wheel and all components fell out and was hanging by a wire.
