Your windshield has a visible distortion that makes it harder to see clearly while driving. When you took it to the dealer, they suggested the distortion might be related to your sunglasses rather than a defect in the glass itself, so no repair was performed. The distortion was noticeable around 2,000 miles of driving. Getting the windshield replaced or repaired would involve removing the old glass and installing a new one.

Faulty windshield. Replaced with two additional windshields (1GM, 1 Aftermarket) which were both defective. All Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles on the lot had defective (Warped) windshields. These windshields distort images, cause dizziness and motion sickness. The Dealer purchased the vehicle back.
