Your driver's seat appears to be misaligned — when you sit back with your head on the headrest, your view through the windshield is shifted toward the left A-pillar instead of being centered, which affects visibility and causes discomfort and back pain on longer drives. The seat frame may be structurally damaged or improperly positioned. BMW's initial inspection using only a wooden stick didn't identify the problem, but your own measurements with a laser level confirmed the seat is shifted about 2 cm toward the door and rotated at an angle. Fixing this will likely require the seat frame to be realigned, adjusted, or potentially replaced by a BMW technician.
