Your 2019 Tundra has stalled without warning while driving on multiple occasions and failed to restart, requiring towing to the dealer twice. The dealer identified a failed fuel pump (part #770200C170) that needed replacement, but the part was on backorder; they attempted two temporary software reprogramming fixes that didn't work. A mobile mechanic later found the fuel pump was burned, which also damaged and melted the electrical connector (part #9098010844), but this connector has been discontinued by Toyota and the vehicle remains unrepaired. Fixing this issue will likely require replacing the fuel pump assembly and sourcing an alternative or rebuilt electrical connector.

Your truck shut off while you were driving because the fuel pump connector inside the tank melted. This is a serious issue because a melted connector can potentially start a fire. You were told your truck doesn't qualify for a recall, but you're experiencing the same problem that recall vehicles have.

Your 2019 Tundra had a rough-sounding engine at startup, the check engine light came on, and then the truck wouldn't restart. A mechanic reset the engine computer, but the problem happened again. The issue appears related to a known fuel system recall, but your vehicle's VIN wasn't included in that recall, so it wasn't covered. The truck was never repaired.

When you refuel your truck, gasoline sprays out of the fuel filler neck onto the ground and onto you. The dealer has replaced the charcoal canister twice and claims the vent tubes are clogging, but the problem returns within a week each time. This creates a fire hazard and environmental concern, and you report it's been ongoing for over 2 years despite multiple repairs.

One morning, I tried to start my truck, and it would not start. After taking it to Lipton Toyota in Fort Lauderdale, they determined the fuel pump was faulty. Unfortunately, they’ve had my truck for over two weeks and have informed me of a national shortage for Toyota fuel pumps. I have spoken to other dealerships in the area, including those in Kentucky, they are also on back order for these fuel pumps.
The vehicle is vibrating while accelerating and bogging down when the accelerator is depress, causing the car to slow down drastically. Doing research it similar to the issues that the fuel pump were having in the 2019 Toyota tundra recalls. Also at the start of the engine it seems that is bogging and causing the rpm to fluctuate, in some cases car will crank and will not start. I have vídeo prove of this issue and audio when the car is starting
