Your traction control and ABS systems are engaging unexpectedly during normal driving, causing your van to suddenly brake hard (dropping from 55 to 30 mph), pull to the right, and sound an alarm—even when you turn off the traction control button. This happened multiple times in one drive, forcing you to fight the steering wheel to stay on the road. The issue appears to be a known problem with Toyota vehicles that may require diagnostic work or replacement of the traction control or ABS system components.
