Your General Grabber Arctic studded tires show sidewall damage and missing studs after only 18,000 miles, even though they're warranted for 75,000 miles. The manufacturer says the tires are only approved for temperatures of 43°F or colder, but you use them year-round in the high Rockies where temperatures swing from 70°F to -20°F, and they've also voided your warranty because you studded the tires. The manufacturer offered only a 25% reimbursement, and Tire Rack (where you purchased them with road hazard coverage) won't honor the tread wear warranty and is requiring you to buy replacement tires with sidewall damage before they might reimburse you, leaving you unable to safely replace your worn tires before winter. Resolving this will likely require escalating your warranty claim with the tire manufacturer and/or Tire Rack, possibly with documentation of your temperature conditions and tire usage.
