Your car's automatic braking system is activating unexpectedly and at inappropriate times, creating unsafe situations rather than preventing them. This suggests the forward collision avoidance sensors may be malfunctioning or miscalibrated. A technician will likely need to inspect the sensor alignment, clean the sensors, and potentially recalibrate or replace them to restore proper function.
