Your car's CVT transmission is failing, causing severe shaking and jerking that gets worse over time. After driving for about 2 minutes, your vehicle loses power and can barely accelerate—it's progressively limited to lower and lower speeds (from 20 mph down to just 5 mph)—and has completely stalled in traffic with no ability to restart, creating a dangerous situation. No warning lights appear before these failures occur. The transmission will likely need to be rebuilt or replaced to fix this issue.

Your air conditioning system has completely failed due to a faulty evaporator core, leaving your cabin extremely hot—especially in summer. This heat causes physical discomfort, distraction, and dizziness while driving, which you believe creates a safety risk. The fix will likely require replacing the evaporator core, which is a major air conditioning component buried deep in your dashboard.

Your air conditioning system has stopped working completely, making the car uncomfortable to drive in hot weather. You've already spent over $1,000 on repairs and replacement parts without success, and a mechanic says the evaporator core needs replacement, which you find too expensive. The lack of cooling is causing physical discomfort and affecting your ability to focus while driving.

Your car experiences a shuddering or jerking sensation when shifting out of first gear. This vibration or hesitation occurs during the normal acceleration process when the transmission moves from first to second gear.

My transmission gave out. My car stopped in the middle of the street as I was crossing to the next intersection and would not go. I had to have my car pushed to the curve until tow truck came. The car was towed to the dealership (nissan of mobile) the dealer confirmed the transmission was bad. No lights or warning came on prior just stopped and would not go. This was a very scary situation and I'm still devastated.
VEHICLE SHUTS OFF COMPLETELY WHILE IN MOTION REGARDLESS OF SPEED. I'VE HAD IT SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING 15MPH ON THE STREET AS WELL AS WHEN I'VE BEEN GOING 60+MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. BASED OFF OF OTHER FINDINGS AND LAWSUITS, I'VE BEGAN TO SUSPECT IT IS THE TRANSMISSION. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP EACH TIME IT HAS HAPPENED, AND THEY'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GIVE ME AN ANSWER. I'VE GOTTEN MY WARRANTY EXTENDED BY THEM, BUT THAT'S IT.
I PULLED IN TO A PARKING SPOT I WAS IN PARK. NEXT TO A 4X4 DIESEL PICKUP, HE STARTED TO BACK UP AND TURNED HIS WHEELS TO WERE HE WAS GOING TO RUN ME OVER I HELD THE HORN DOWN HE DID NOT HEAR IT AND RAN ME OVER FROM THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE TO THE BACK DOOR. HE STOPPED WHEN HE REALIZED HE WAS ON TOP OF MY CAR.
PURCHASED A 2016 NISSAN VERSA (BRAND NEW) CAR RAN WELL UNTIL 11/18/19. WHEN I LEFT WORK, STARTED CAR AS USUAL AND HEADED HOME. PASSED A ROUNDABOUT ALONG WITH SOME FREEWAY DRIVING. WHILE ON ROBERTS RD. AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT (WAITING FOR RIGHT AWAY) CAR SEEMED FINE, BUT ONCE I APPLIED THE GAS TO CROSS THE INTERSECTION ON A GREEN LIGHT. NOTHING HAPPENED. ALL THE DUMMY LIGHTS CAME ON, RADIO AND HEAT WAS STILL WORKING BUT CAR SHUT DOWN AT RUSH HOUR. I COULD NOT MOVE. I CALLED FOR THE POLICE TO HELP THEN HAD IT TOWED TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP. I LATER FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN SENT TO DEALERS ABOUT THIS ISSUE OF CARS STALLING. WHY WAS I NOT MADE AWARE AND SOLD A LEMON. I THANK GOD THAT IT DID NOT HAPPEN ON THE FREEWAY OR ROUNDABOUT. THE DEALER CLAIMED THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM, BUT MY HUNCH TOLD ME IT'S A LEMON AND NOT TO KEEP IT. I NOW OWN A 2020 TOYOTA COROLLA. I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH, VERY SCARY. FYI IF YOU GOGGLE NISSAN CARS STALLING THERE IS A NEWS STORY FROM KTNV CHANNEL 13 OUT OF NEVADA.
THE CAR SHUT OFF COMPLETELY WHILE I WAS AT A RED LIGHT AND I HAD TO RESTART IT.
I LEFT MY CAR PARKED IN FRONT ON MY HOUSE FOR A WHOLE WEEK, AS I LEFT FOR VACATION. CAME BACK AND NOW MY CAR KEY GET STUCK IN THE IGNITION.
DURING COLDER WEATHER, AS THE CAR IS MOVING, AIR COMES IN THROUGH THE BOTTOM SEAM OF THE BACKSEAT AND THROUGH THE EDGES OF BOTH REAR DOORS. THE WEATHER STRIPPING AROUND THESE PARTS IS INADEQUATE. THIS INFLOW OF AIR CAUSES ALL WINDOWS TO FOG UP AND CONDENSATE, WHICH THE DEFROSTER IS UNABLE TO CONTEND WITH. WATER LITERALLY DRIPS DOWN THE WINDOWS AND MAKES IT HAZARDOUS FOR THE DRIVER BECAUSE THEY CAN'T USE THEIR MIRRORS TO NAVIGATE AND ARE WIPING THE WINSHIELD SO THEY CAN SEE THE ROAD IN FRONT OF THEM.
THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE CONTINENTAL CONTIPROCONTACT P185/65 R15 TIRE EXPLODED WHILE PARKED. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF, AND HAD ONLY BEEN DRIVEN LESS THAN TEN MILES PRIOR TO THE EXPLOSION. THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE WAS 65 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT AND IT WAS RAINING, SO HEAT WAS NOT A FACTOR. THE TIRE DOT # IS P5FP3YP2715. THE TIRES THEMSELVES ARE THREE YEARS OLD AND HAVE 54,710 MILES ON THEM.
BRAKE ISSUES REPORTED NOT A GOOD VEHICLE TO HAVE REPAIRED SEVERAL TIME- BOUGHT BRAND NEW - STILL SUFFERING FROM MULTIPLE VISITS TO DEALERSHIP AND COMPANY
