Your airbag warning light has been flashing or staying on intermittently for an extended period, even after multiple resets. The dealership confirmed the problem is with the driver-side rear seat airbag. The airbag component is on back order, and you're concerned about safety for rear passengers. Fixing this will require replacing the faulty airbag module.

The car was parked over night and it was raining that night. The next day I went to move the car, started & warning lights went on. The windshield wiper water trough got clogged due to tree leafs falling in & the water overflow & entered the car by the air vent in to the car floor The 360-deg. Camera system module under the carpet, under the front passenger seat. It Drowned in rain water. Causing the car computers to Mel function. Drove it to a mechanic & that is when he told me that I need to replace the camera module & the air bag module. I was not able to go faster then 15 or 20 MPH in the HWAY & lost my left & right signal flashers. 1) Car MFG should put a leaf filter screen in the trough. 2) never put electronic computer under a carping. MFG are aware that water can go there. And it’s a water trap.
WHILE DRIVING MY CAR WILL SHUT OFF. IT HAS HAPPENED A TOTAL OF 5 TIMES AND TAKEN INTO THE DEALERSHIP 4 TIMES. OUT OF ALL THE TIMES IT HAS SHUT OFF MY 6-MONTH-OLD HAS BEEN IN THE CAR TWICE. ONE OF THE TIMES IT SHUT OFF I WAS ON THE FREEWAY WHILE THE OTHERS WERE ON THE STREET.
WHEN I DRIVE IN THE WINTER TIME AND APPLY THE BRAKES ON A SLIPPERY ROAD THE CAR DOESN'T WANT TO STOP NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRY TO USE THE BRAKES. INSTEAD, THE BRAKES POP AND CLICK UNTIL MY CAR SLOWS DOWN ON ITS OWN. I ENDED UP SLIDING LITERALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET AT A BUSY INTERSECTION. OTHER DRIVERS WERE AWARE MY CAR WAS HAVING TROUBLE STOPPING AND ALLOWED ME TO PROCEED. THAT HAPPENED IN THE 1ST TIME IN DECEMBER 2017. THE FOLLOWING YEAR I HAD MY BRAKES CHECK AND THE SERVICE STATION CLAIMED THE COULDN'T FIND ANY THING WRONG WITH THEM. I HAD MY BRAKES SERVICED BEFORE THE WINTER OF 2018. MY BRAKES STILL DO THE EXACT SAME THING ALL WINTER LONG ON THE SLIPPERY STREETS. ALSO I'M HAVING TROUBLE TRYING TO TURN THE KEY IN THE IGNITION BECAUSE IT'S LOCKED. WHEN I FINALLY MANAGED TO GET THE CAR UP AND RUNNING A LITTLE WHILE LATER IT WANTS TO STALL. THIS JUST HAPPENED THE LAST 2 DAYS. I'M GOING TO GET THAT SERVICED ASAP. THAT DAY WAS NOVEMBER 23, 2019. THIS VEHICLE HAS SEVERAL ISSUES AND IT'S ONLY 3 YRS OLD. THAT'S NOT A GOOD SIGN.
MY VECHICLE STARTE TO CUT OUT ON ME AFTER 37000 MILES. I WAS DRIVING FROM JURY DUTY IN THE AFTERNOON IN TRAFFIC AND IT JUST STALLED OUT ON ME. THE ENGINE CUT OFF. I WAS ABLE TO CRANK IT AGAIN AND MOVED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. I WAITED 45 MINUTES. I DID NOT TURN THE AIR CONDITION ON. IT CRANKED AND I WENT HOME. A WEEK LATER IT DID THE SAME THING BUT IT WOULD NOT CRANK AGAIN. I HAD TO GET IT TOWED TO A MECHANIC SHOP. HE SAID IT WAS THE COMPRESSOR. HE REPLACED THE COMPRESSOR AND I PICKED IT UP AGAIN AND IN A FEW DAYS LATER IT CUT OFF ON ME AND MY FAMILY AGAIN. WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE SAME MECHANIC AND HE SAID IT WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE ELECTRICAL BOX. HE REPLACED IT AND IT WAS RUNNING AGAIN.HOWEVER IN 2 DAYS IT TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING AGAIN.THIS IS A RELATIVELY NEW VEHICLE. IT ONLY HAS 38K MILES ON IT. NOW IT WILL NOT DRIVE. I AM STUCK WITH A CAR NOTE AND NO CAR TO DRIVE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE CONTACT SMELLED AN ABNORMAL BURNING ODOR. THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE PHONE WHILE IT WAS BEING CHARGED IN THE VEHICLE. THE PHONE WAS MELTED. THE CONTACT PURCHASED A NEW PHONE AND PORTABLE CHARGER, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 23,000.
