Your car's powertrain diagnostic system won't communicate with standard scan tools, making it impossible to read error codes—even dealership mechanics can't diagnose the issue. You're experiencing transmission problems where the car feels like it's skipping gears or losing power while driving, and it has stalled on its own. Additionally, the passenger-side wheel has partially collapsed because the lower control arm separated from its joint, causing the tire to tilt at an angle and creating a serious safety hazard. This will likely require transmission diagnostics and replacement, along with lower control arm and suspension repairs.

Your steering wheel became hard to turn in both directions while driving, and your car beeped with a 'Malfunction' message displayed on the dashboard. After you restarted the vehicle, the problem went away on its own. The issue hasn't been diagnosed yet, so it's unclear what caused it or whether it will happen again.

Your horn doesn't work when you press the steering wheel, even though the horn and fuse are both functioning properly. A mechanic has diagnosed the issue as a faulty clock spring, which is the component that allows electrical signals to reach the horn when you press the steering wheel.

I heard what sounded like rocks under my car so I took it into Firestone to have them look at it and they let me know they could not even align it because the tie rod had to be replaced. Apparently this part controls your steering and you can potentially lose a wheel while you are driving down the highway. Now I am worried and I don't dare drive my vehicle any further than necessary right back over to Firestone to have them replace it on Monday. This is a safety concern because if I lose steering and the wheel comes off in that distance of even one mile anyone in the area of such a situation could get hurt. I actually don't have much money, but have no choice but to pay to have it done. I have continually maintained my vehicle. I have not hit any rocks that would have caused this issue either. I asked Joe at Firestone what would have caused the problem and he told me simple wear and tear. I only have 27,360 miles on my car. That makes no sense to me with such a small amount of mileage that the tie rod would have to be replaced to remain safe on the road.
