Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue vehicles manufactured March 7, 2007, to November 26, 2013, and 2014 Nissan Rogue Select vehicles manufactured September 23, 2013, to July 2, 2014. The affected vehicles may experience an electrical short in the harness connector due to a mixture of snow/water and salt seeping through the carpet on the driver side floor near the harness connector.
Fix: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the kick panel wiring harness connector and will if necessary install a new harness connector and waterproof seal, free of charge. The recall began on February 26, 2015. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

Your 2012 Nissan Rogue caught fire while parked about 6 hours after midnight, with no one inside the vehicle. Your key fob alarm sounded before the fire started, but the fire department had to break in and extinguish it. The fire completely burned the interior and the vehicle cannot be driven, though the exact cause hasn't been confirmed and the vehicle hasn't been inspected or repaired yet. A full electrical system inspection and potential wiring harness replacement will be needed to determine what caused the fire.

While driving at highway speeds, your son noticed the left headlight flickering and smoking. He pulled over immediately, and the entire front of the vehicle caught fire, resulting in a total loss. The fire department had to extinguish the flames. This is an extreme safety hazard that requires immediate investigation of the electrical system and engine bay.

As I am steering, the horn goes off at any moment for a long period of time distracting many drivers and scaring them half to death on the road ! This is an incident that has been going on for a while, and there are many other people that I have came across with the same problem. This is my only car and I have no idea who to turn to, but the amount of money for a Nissan that is in great condition and has never been in an accidents seems to have allot of electrical failures.
The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the battery, brake, and oil warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that he pulled over and needed several attempts to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was shifted into drive(D) however, the vehicle failed to exceed 15 MPH. The contact had driven the vehicle to an auto parts store where a handheld scanner was used, and it was determined that the starter coil needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a dealer. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 174,785.
One year ago I had the transmission and computer replaced on my 2012 Nissan Rogue SL, after losing driving power SEVERAL times WHILE DRIVING. To both my and my mechanics amazement, this did not solve the issue! My mechanic traced it back to the engine wiring harness. Nissan claimed to not have any of the required wiring harnesses in stock, and for the life of us we could not find a replacement online. After some research, we came across NHTSA Recall Number15V-032. We were again amazed to learn that my car was not included in the recall, but other 2012 Rogues were. My mechanic went wire through wire, and after 6 months of issues and over $6,000 in parts and labor, I was back on the road. Fast forward to today, I am now dealing with the same issue AGAIN, except this time I was traveling on the PA Turnpike with 3 other passengers when my check engine light turned on and the car lost all power. This car is not only a money pit but a MASSIVE safety issue. I wish I had done more research into the disaster that is Nissan & their early model CVT Transmissions. The NHTSA needs to step in and expand these recalls and class action lawsuits to ALL year models, not just a few.
SRS air bag light was on, called dealer, light stayed on, CVT transmission has issues, electrical problems while driving, car will decelerate and stop without warning. My safety is at risk everyday, the car can stop at anytime without warning, airbag deployed. The dealership has not found any problems that they are willing to be accountable for. The vehicle has not been inspected before or after accident. Check engine light was on, transmission was replaced twice at my own expense. SRS light was on before accident.
The driver seat would not come back up after I used the recline button. There is no sound when I push the button to raise seat back up from the reclined position. The side airbags on driver seat back are not able to protect me if there is an accident. I do not use the recline function often so I don't have a history if when it stopped functioning.
The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, she saw smoke exiting from under the hood, and then the vehicle seized. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to park on the side of the road to jump the battery and continue driving to her destination. The contact stated she was unable to use any electronic features inside the vehicle, such as locking the door, opening/closing windows, moving the driver's side seat, or use the smart key fob. The contact experience the same failure the following day. The contact drove to AutoZone and purchased a new battery, but continued to experience the failure. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer who associated the failure with rodents consuming wires but did not inspect the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The contact stated she replaced the battery for the third. The contact called another local dealer: Teddy Nissan (3660 Boston Rd, The Bronx, NY 10469:(888) 462-4710), made them aware of the failure, and set up an appointment to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V032000 (Electrical System), however, the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
There are a few things that I would like to report. I have mentioned these to dealership service centers and have been ignored in the past. I financed my vehicle in November of 2018. Everything was fine at first when soon after I started noticing that my blinkers , blink fast . I went in to get the bulbs changed and they were still blinking fast. One person said it could be electrical. Soon after that all of my dash lights stopped working. Then most concerning is that my passenger door just stopped working from the outside it won’t open from the outside you can hear it unlocking it can only be opened from the inside Now the driver door is Doing The same exact thing making this an extreme safety hazard.
THE VEHICLE BODY GIVES ELECTRICAL SHORTS WHEN YOU IT'S SUDDENLY TURNED OFF. ALSO THE COOLING SYSTEM BLOWS HOT AIR FEW MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THIS HAPPENED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION.
MY CAR MAKES A LOUD SCREECHING NOISE WHILE I DRIVE. IT STOPS AND STARTS WHEN MY SPEED CHANGES (I'M ASSUMING WHEN GEARS CHANGE) AND STAYS FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.
DRIVERS SIDE DOOR LOCK MAKES A BUZZING SOUND WHEN LOCKING OR UNLOCKING DOOR USING KEY OR KEY FOB. DOOR WILL NOT LOCK WHEN USING KEY FOB. BAD ACTUATOR.
I REPORTED A FIRE COMPLAINT BACK IN THE SUMMER TO YOU ON THIS VEHICLE. NOW MY ACCELERATOR JUST SUDDENLY QUITS WORKING. I REPORTED THIS TO DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE NISSAN AROUND JUNE 2019. THEY SAID NO CODE CAME UP. IT HAS SINCE BEEN HAPPENING MORE AND MORE. TWICE WHEN I WAS TRYING TO GET ON THE INTERSTATE. TWO WEEKS AGO IT HAPPENED FIVE TIMES IN A ROW AND WOULDN'T GO OVER 30 MPH. WHEN I WOULD LET COMPLETELY OFF THE ACCELERATOR AND PUSH IT AGAIN IT JUMPS LIKE ALL OF THE ENERGY BUSTS THROUGH AT ONCE. I HAVE SINCE DONE RESEARCH AND THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM. MY VEHICLE STILL ONLY HAS LESS THAN 59,000 MILES ON IT. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. I AM SURE PEOPLE HAVE HAD TO HAVE DIED BECAUSE OF IT BUT SINCE THEY ARE DEAD THEY CAN'T REPORT IT. I HAVE MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND IT MAKES THE SAFETY ISSUE EVEN WORSE. I CAN'T WALK VERY FAR IF I GET STRANDED. IF I DON'T GET REAR ENDED ON THE INTERSTATE BEFORE THAT HAPPENS. NISSAN IS VERY AWARE OF THIS. EVEN ROGUES WITH 8,000 MILES ARE DOING THIS. IT ISN'T A MATTER OF JUST BEING STRANDED SOMEWHERE. VEHICLE WAS MOVING EVERY TIME ON INTERSTATE AND CITY STREETS. THE VEHICLE WON'T SHOW A CODE TO THE DEALER SO THEY SAY I HAVE TO TAKE A VIDEO WITH MY FOOT PUSHING DOWN ON THE ACCELERATOR AND SHOWING THE SPEED THAT I AM GOING. NEVER MIND THAT I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ON THE INTERSTATE IN A VEHICLE THAT IS FAILING. THE DATE I AM GIVING YOU IS JUST THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED.
ANYTIME YOU TRY TO START IT, IT CAN BE STARTED DURING THE SECOND TRY, SOMETIMES YOU CAN SMELL SMOKE WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING. THERE IS AN ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION SOMEHOW.
MY CAR FAILED INSPECTION DUE TO A DEFECTIVE MASS AIR FLOW. I HAVE JUST CHANGED THE MASS AIR FLOW, AND MY CAR STILL CONTINUES TO SHOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THE VEHICLE DRIVES REALLY SLOW THE GAS MILEAGE IS TERRIBLE,
MY NISSAN ROGUE 2012 CAUGHT FIRE. UPON STARTING THE CAR WHEN THE IGNITION TURNED OVER, THE IGNITION COIL CAUGHT FIRE! THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND IN THE SHOP AND I HAD BROUGHT IT IN AS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON. THE MECHANIC STATED IT STEEMED FROM THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS. THERE IS A CURRENT RECALL FOR NISSAN ROGUE INVOLVING A PROBLEM WITH THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS FROM 3/7/07-11/26/13. I WAS TOLD THAT MY VIN WAS NOT INVOLVED BY THE DEALER AND CALLED NISSAN TO FIND OUT IF MY VIN COULD BE ADDED. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULDN'T BE AND THAT NISSAN HAD "NO LIABILITY". I AM JUST THANKFUL THAT I WAS NOT IN THE VEHICLE AS I HAD READ THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAD THEIR CAR, AS WELL AS OTHERS, CATCH FIRE AND THE BACK OF THEIR HOUSE AND OR GARAGE! THIS WAS EXTREMELY SCARY! I AM CONCERNED THAT IT MIGHT HAPPEN AGAIN WHEN I DRIVE IT. I AM VERY DISMAYED THAT NISSAN DIDN'T LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM. THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT PART WAS INVOLVED IN THE RECALL OF THE OTHER VEHICLES, DESPITE ME ASKING AND THEY STATED SINCE IT WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER THEY WOULD ALSO NOT ADD IT TO THE RECALL. THEY ALSO STATED SINCE I HAD NOT TAKEN THE ROGUE TO A NISSAN DEALER, THEY COULD NOT ADD IT TO THE RECALL! I HAVE DRIVEN NISSANS FOR OVER 20 YEARS. MY 1990 NISSAN STANZA WAS PART OF A RECALL. AT THE TIME THE VEHICLE COST ME $1500 (I WAS A STRUGGLING GRAD STUDENT) AND HAD NEVER SEEN A DEALER UNTIL I LEARNED OF THE RECALL. HOW CAN WE HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE FOR A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE WHEN THEY DID NOT EVEN INVESTIGATE OR CALL THE SHOP? THEY SIMPLY REFUSED TO TAKE ACTION OR CONSIDER THE FACT THAT VIN NUMBERS THAT WERE NOT LISTED IN THE RECALL COULD HAVE BEEN AFFECTED. I AM VERY DISHEARTENED IN THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY PROVIDED THE RESPONSE (AN "OH WELL" TYPE OF ATTITUDE) TO AN ISSUE THAT WAS THIS SERIOUS! IT IS NOT THE MONEY, BUT THE FACT THAT IF I WAS IN IT, I COULD HAVE LOST MY LIFE!
I HAVE HAD SOME BATTERY ISSUES SINCE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE. I PURCHASED IT USED FROM A DEALERSHIP. I HAVE HAD TO JUMP IT OFF SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE THE BATTERY REPLACED AT LEAST TWICE. LAST TIME I HAD WARRANTY SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE. HOWEVER I DID STILL HAVE TO PAY TO GET IT INSTALLED.

THE DEALER (VALDOSTA NISSAN CADILLAC, 3685 INNER PERIMETER RD, VALDOSTA, GA 31602, (229) 242-7325) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE MORE THAN TWICE, BUT WAS UNABLE TO REPLICATE AND DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE DEALER LATER INDICATED THAT THE SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED FOR THE REAR PASSENGER TIRE. THE SENSOR WAS STATED TO HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY THE DEALER'S MECHANIC, BUT THE TPMS INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED AFTER THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD FOLLOW-UP WITHIN 48 HOURS. THE CONTACT HAD NOT HEARD BACK FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE. *TT*JB
12/22/2018 MY NISSAN ROGUE CAUGHT FIRE PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY. WE WERE ONLY ALERTED BECAUSE THE HORN DEFAULTED BECAUSE OF THE FIRE. FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE WITH SOME DIFFICULTY. THEY ASSURED US IT WAS ELECTRICAL. INSURANCE CO. TOTALED THE CAR. UPON MY OWN RESEARCH THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES WITH THIS MAKE AND MODEL. NISSAN HAS NOT ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY IN ANY OF THEM. THANK GOD NO ONE WAS INJURED. THE STRESS AND FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY LAYS WITH THE CUSTOMERS.
WHENEVER MY CAR IS IN MOTION, WHEN TRYING TO CLIMB A HILL, IT WOULD STOP AUTOMATICALLY. AND OFTEN TIMES, I WOULD HAVE TO REVERSE MY CAR, TURN IT OFF AND GENTLY DRIVE IT UP THE HILL FOR FEAR THAT IT MAY SHUT ITSELF OFF. I HAVE HAD TO CHANGE THE AIR MASS FLOW 3 TIMES. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON SINCE SEPTEMBER, AND WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE SHOP, THE DIAGNOSES CAME BACK AS THE AIR MASS FLOW, AFTER I HAVE JUST REPLACED IT. THE CAR WOULD AUTOMATICALLY NOT GET GAS FOR NO APPARENT REASONS. I AM NOT COMFORTABLE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY ANY LONGER.
VEHICLE IN THE SHOP FOR A MAJOR OIL LEAK, 2 KEY FOBS DON'T WORK, RECALL, LEAKING SUNROOF, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST AIR BAG LIGHT FLASHING. QUOTED 3500 TO REPLACE SEAT/MODULE, 350. FOR OIL ISSUE, 1400. SUNROOF. I INHERITED THIS CAR IN 2013 WHEN MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY AND IT ONLY HAS 20000 MILES ON IT. I COULD BUY ANOTHER NEWER USED CAR AT THIS RATE!! VEHICLE WAS NOT RUNNING AND PARKED IN OUR GARAGE IN LANCASTER, MA PHONE # [XXX]. EARLY MORNING 1/15/18 VEHICLE'S KICK PANEL MALFUNCTIONED STARTING A FIRE WHICH DESTROYED PART OF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, MELTED AND /OR BURNED PARTS OF THE DASHBOARD AND DRIVERS SIDE DOOR AREA. THE INTERIOR AND CONTENTS OF VEHICLE WAS HEAVILY DAMAGED/DESTROYED. RESPONDING LANCASTER FIRE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL STATED THAT FIRE STAYED CONFINED TO VEHICLE INTERIOR DUE TO WINDOWS BEING CLOSED AND THE FIRE BURNING OUT WHEN OXYGEN WAS CONSUMED. ALL CONTENTS OF GARAGE WERE HEAVILY SMOKE DAMAGED. RESEARCH REVEALED THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL IN 2015 WHICH WAS COMPLETED ON OUR END WITH THE DEALER REPLACING A HARNESS. MY VEHICLE, A 2012 NISSAN ROUGE CAUGHT ON FIRE IN MY DRIVEWAY WHILE MYSELF AND THE OTHER MEMBERS OF OUR HOME WERE SLEEPING. WHEN I WOKE UP TO A LOUD POPPING NOISE AND RAN TO MY BEDROOM WINDOW FACING THE DRIVEWAY WHERE ALL OF THE VEHICLES WERE PARKED I NOTICED MY VEHICLE, THE NISSAN ROGUE BURNING INTENSELY. THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE AS WELL AS UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE IN THE FRONT WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES. 911 WAS DIALED IMMEDIATELY AFTER WAKING AND NOTICING AN OBVIOUS FIRE COMING FROM THE 2012 NISSAN ROGUE, AT APPROX. 11:00 PM. BY THE TIME THE FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED, 3 OTHER VEHICLES IN OUR DRIVEWAY, ALONG WITH THE 2012 NISSAN ROGUE, WERE RUINED. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS SALVAGEABLE. THE FIRE WAS SO INTENSE THAT IT MELTED ALL OF THE SIDING ON THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE FACING THE DRIVEWAY WHERE THE FIRE OCCURRED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, INCLUDING THE FIRE CHIEF AND FIRE MARSHALL CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION AND EXPLAINED TO ME, AS WELL AS THE OWNERS OF THE OTHER VEHICLES, THAT THEY BELIEVE THE FIRE WAS ELECTRICAL AND OBVIOUSLY STARTED WITH THE 2012 NISSAN ROGUE AND ULTIMATELY SPREAD TO THE OTHER VEHICLES BEFORE THE FIRE COULD BE COMPLETELY EXTINGUISHED.
STATIONARY, 1 YEAR OLD IN REAR OF VEHICLE AND THE DOOR WOULD NOT UNLOCK. THE BUTTON ON THE P/S & D/S UNLOCKED EVERY DOOR EXCEPT FOR THE D/S REAR DOOR. WE TRIED TO USE THE KEYLESS REMOTE TO UNLOCK THE DOOR, THAT FAILED AS WELL. WE ATTEMPTED TO OPEN MANUALLY FROM INSIDE THE REAR AND THE LOCK WOULD NOT GIVE WAY. WE COULD NOT SAFELY REMOVE OUR CHILD FROM THE BACKSEAT. THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR DOOR IS STILL LOCKED AND WE CANNOT GET IN OR OUT OF THAT DOOR. ALL OTHER DOORS AND LOCKS FUNCTION NORMALLY AS THEY SHOULD.
VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL LIGHT IS ON, IT'S A COMPUTER PROBLEM THAT THE SYSTEM IS TELLING THE CAR TO BREAK EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE IN ACCERLARATION, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO BREAKS TO SMOKE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 NISSAN ROGUE. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR NEEDED TO BE RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED EACH TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE'S YEAR WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V244000 (AIR BAGS). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
WHEN U PUT GAS ON THERE IS A VIBRATION AND ALSO I HAVE INSTALLED ROTORS AND BRAKES TWICE 60,000 MILES ONLY.
ON 12/26/2015 AT 4AM MY 2012 NISSAN ROGUE CAUGHT ON FIRE IN MY CARPORT. MY DAUGHTER AND I COULD HAVE DIED HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR MY 2 GOLDEN RETRIEVERS ALERTING US. I LATER FOUND OUT THAT I WASN'T NOTIFIED OF A OPEN RECALL ON 1/26/2015 INCLUDING MY VIN FOR THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, IN WHICH IT COULD SHORT AND CAUSE A VEHICLE FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED TOTALED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND OVER $10,000 WORTH OF DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO MY HOME. NISSAN BEGAN THEIR INVESTIGATION ON 1/20/2016 AND ON 2/12/2016 THEY CONTACTED ME VIA FEDEX THAT THE HAVE NO FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS INCIDENT. I AM TOTALLY BAFFLED BY THIS BECAUSE VEHICLE FIRE IS CONSEQUENCE OF THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM ON MY VIN. AND YES I HAVE INSURANCE ON BOTH MY HOME AND VEHICLE, BUT THERE IS $500 DEDUCTIBLE ON MY HOME. AND THERE IS A BALANCE AFTER MY INSURANCE PAID OFF WHAT THE VEHICLE IS WORTH AT THE TIME OF THE FIRE. AND I HAD TO PUT MONEY DOWN MONEY TO BUY A NEW VEHICLE. SO I'M LEFT WITH ALL OF THE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILTY AND NISSAN HAS NONE. I AM LIVID!!!

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE INVESTIGATOR STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE BECAUSE OF THE WIRING HARNESS. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V032000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000. CONSUMER STATED THAT NISSAN TOLD HIM THAT THEY WERE NOT LIABLE FOR THE DAMAGE UNLESS HE COULD PROVE THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. NISSAN REFUSES TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR USING DUNLOP 7000A/S 225/55/18 TIRES ON THIS VEHICLE WHICH ARE DANGEROUS IN ANY CONDITION BESIDES DRY ROAD CONDITIONS THESE TIRES ARE INHERENTLY DEFECTIVE ALSO FILED COMPLAINT WITH GOODYEAR TIRE WHICH REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY ISSUES WITH THIS TIRE. 2. THE TRAFFIC FEATURE OF THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. AFTER 20 HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH SIRIUSXM THEY ADVISED ME THIS IS A NISSAN ISSUE. NISSAN ALSO REFUSES TO TAKE ANY ACTION. 3. THE RADIO TURNS ON AND OFF OR THE SOURCE OF THE MEDIA CHANGES WHEN YOU BLOW THE HORN ALSO NISSAN HAS NO SOLUTION OR FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM.

I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM NISSAN : NHTSA RECALL 15V-032 THE RECALL LETTER SAID ON CERTAIN VEHICLES SNOW/WATER AND SALT CARRIED ONTO THE DRIVER SIDE FLOOR AREA CAN SEEP INTO THE CARPER NEAR THE HARNESS CONNECTOR AREA AND EVENTUALLY CAUSE AND ELECTRIC SHORT TO OCCUR.
