WHILE DRIVING PERTICULAR IN WARMER WEATHER THE CAR SHAKES THEN SLOWS DOWN WHILE I'M IN HIGH TRAFFIC VERY DANGEROUS THIS HAPPENED TWICE HAD THE CAR ALMOST 2 YEARS THIS JULY WILL BE 2 YEARS I'M VERY SCARED IT DOES THIS AND DON'T HAVE MONEY TO FIX .

VEHICLE STALLED VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO DEALER FAULTY AIR FLOW METER WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED, NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DEALER TIM DAHLE NISSAN, 4528 S STATE ST, MURRAY, UT 84107, THEY DETERMINED FAULTY AIR FLOW METER, REPLACED. MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF FAILURE. APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE 61,011. *PM *DL
WON'T ACCELERATE, STOP WHILE DRIVING. MAKE LOUD WHINING NOISE. I WAS DRIVING IN AN HIGHWAY
IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY THE ROGUE SUDDENLY LOST POWER. AFTER STOPPING IT SLOWLY GAINED MOMENTUM. HARDLY ANY PICK UP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN ROGUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE LOSS OF ENGINE POWER. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,228.
WHEN YOU PRESS THE GAS PEDAL, THE ENGINE DOES NOT GO. ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, OVER TEN, I HAVE BEEN DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE (APPROXIMATELY 70MPH) AND THE VEHICLE BEGINS TO DECELERATE. IT DOES IT IF THE CRUISE CONTROL IS SET OR IF I AM MANUALLY PRESSING THE GAS. IT HAS DROPPED AS LOW AS 30 MPH WITHOUT RECOVERY AND I HAVE TO STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR 20-39 MINUTES AND THEN ATTEMPT TO DRIVE AGAIN EITHER VERY SLOWLY (APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH) AND/OR STOP FREQUENTLY TO LET THE ENGINE "REST".
CVT TRANSMISSION AND COOLER - VEHICLE RANDOMLY DROPS ACCELERATION. WHEN ACCELERATION DROPS, THE CAR WILL NOT GO ABOVE 40MPH EVEN IF YOU PUT THE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR, AND THE RPMS RISE TO 8. NO RHYME OR REASON. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THIS TRANSMISSION. NISSAN ONLY EXTENDED WARRANTY TO 2010 MODELS, YET THIS IS THE EXACT ISSUE COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. THERE ARE MANY OTHER NISSAN OWNERS WITH 2011 MODELS WITH THE SAME EXACT ISSUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE IDLING AT A STOP, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTED INTO PARK AND RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO REFUSED TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE WHEN THE CONTACT REQUESTED A WORK ORDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REMEDIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,785.
THIS INCIDENT HAS OCCURRED TWICE IN EXACTLY THE SAME MANNER: I WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT; WHEN THE LIGHT CHANGED, AND I PRESSED ON THE ACCELERATOR, THERE WAS NO RESPONSE AS THE CAR ROLLED INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION. I PUSHED SEVERAL TIMES AS TRAFFIC WAITED BEHIND ME. SUDDENLY IT "CAUGHT," THE POWER RETURNED, AND I WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE (THE ENGINE DID NOT REV WHEN THE ACCELERATOR WAS PRESSED). LIKE OTHERS, I AM EXTREMELY CONCERNED (AS ARE THOSE WHO COMMUTE WITH ME), ABOUT BEING CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION AND HIT BROAD-SIDED. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP WHICH WAS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. THIS VEHICLE ALSO HAS A PROBLEM WITH A BLINKING AIR-BAG WARNING LIGHT (BEGAN IN OCT.) WHICH WE TRIED TO HAVE FIXED AT THE SAME TIME. THE DEALERSHIP RESET IT, BUT UPON DRIVING OUT THE OF THE LOT, IT BEGAN BLINKING AGAIN. WE WERE TOLD IT WAS A "POSSIBLE INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WITH AIR BAG MODULE OR SPIRAL CABLE," AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR WHICH HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED YET. *TR
WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 65 AND 70 MPH, THE 2011 ROUGE WITHOUT WARNING JUST SHUT DOWN (LOST POWER) PULLED OVER AND SAT THERE FOR 10 MINUTES AND IT STARTED AND RAN FINE. THREE WEEKS LATER, IT HAPPENED WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING IT. IT SHUT DOWN (LOST POWER), PULLED OVER SAT AND THEN RESTARTED THE CAR. NO WARNING LIGHTS, NOT WARNING OF ANY KIND, ALL GAUGES WERE NORMAL. THIS COULD CAUSE ONE TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR EVEN DEATH. I HAVE SEEN WHERE OTHER NISSAN CARS HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT, RECALLED FIXED, AND SOON BEFORE IT CAUSES INJURIES. 66,000 MILES IS WHEN IT STARTED HAPPENING. I AM SCARED TO DRIVE MY CAR ANYWHERE DUE TO THE RISK OF INJURY I AM PUTTING MYSELF AND OTHERS IN. PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT AND DO SOMETHING BEFORE IT IS TO LATE FOR SOMEONE. *TR
I AM SCARED TO DRIVE MY ROGUE 2011 AFTER HAVING SEVERAL SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR. THE FIRST INCIDENT HAPPENED IN JANUARY 2012. I JUST PULLED OUT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN MY CAR FELT HEAVY AND DRAGGING AS I PUSHED ON THE ACCELERATOR. I WAS PUSHING DOWN HARD ON THE GAS AND THE CAR WAS BARELY MOVING. THEN IT DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION. THIS PUT ME IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION. IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND REPAIRED. THE SECOND INCIDENT TOOK PLACE 4 DAYS LATER. THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED AGAIN, BUT THIS TIME I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD BEFORE THE CAR DIED. I HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS AGAIN. ON FEBRUARY 3, 2012 I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND MY CAR BEGAN SHAKING AND VIBRATING. I DROVE SOMEWHERE SAFE AND THEN HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER. I AM HOPING THE CAR WILL BE RECALLED BECAUSE I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY CAR AND I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER TRANSPORTATION. THIS IS NOT NORMAL TO HAVE SUCH SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH A NEW CAR. *TR
