While driving, your airbag warning light turned on and off, then the red airbag indicator on your dashboard started flashing and won't stop. This suggests a problem with your airbag system that needs immediate diagnosis. A technician will need to scan your car's computer to identify the specific airbag fault and determine what repair is needed.

Your driver and passenger airbags deployed suddenly while you were driving on an expressway, even though there was no crash, warning lights, or impact of any kind. The deployment broke your windshield and left your car unable to drive. Both your insurance company and State Police have documented this as a manufacturer defect, but Nissan has been slow to schedule repairs and hasn't offered assistance with towing or a rental vehicle.

Our vehicle has 22,000 miles and the air bag sensor on the front passenger side has malfunctioned. The passenger air bag light stays on and flashes on the dash board. After being diagnosed at a local car shop they advised the vehicle would be unsafe for a passenger to sit on that side and even with weight distributed on the seat, light stays on indicating the no airbag. As the vehicle does not have much mileage this has become a huge safety concern for myself and family. We would like to acknowledge that this is a defect of the vehicle and hope for a proposed recall for safety.
