Driver side front and passenger rear doors locks stopped working when trying to lock doors. Stopped working a few months ago. Door doesn't lock when put into gear to drive.

Unable to open driver’s door from the inside of the vehicle. To exit the car I have to climb over and exit through passenger door or roll down the window and open the door from the outside handle. This is a potential safety concern of not be able to get out of the car in an emergency or injuring myself when I have to climb over the console to exit through passenger door. This issue has bot been resolved and is still a concern.

The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving 55 –60 MPH, with a kayak attached, the roof rack detached from the vehicle. The kayak struck the rear windshield and fell to the highway. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a collision center. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. There were no reported injuries. The Police arrived on the scene and aided with the removal of the kayak and roof rail. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the driver that the kayak was not installed properly and sent the contact a manual but provided no additional assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the grille shutter needed to be replaced. The contact stated that she replaced the grille shutter herself. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000. The VIN was unavailable.
