Your 2022 Jeep Wrangler is leaking oil and diesel fuel, which creates a fire hazard and makes the vehicle unsafe to drive. The dealership has attempted repairs four times but hasn't permanently fixed the problem, and the manufacturer has stopped providing assistance. You'll likely need the fuel system seals, gaskets, or injectors inspected and replaced to stop the leaks.

Your Jeep is displaying a "Performance Limited Service Fuel System" warning message when you're slowing down or coasting to a stop. The dealer has indicated there's no recall available and they're unable to resolve the issue. This warning suggests your fuel system isn't operating at full capacity. Diagnosing and fixing this will likely require fuel system component inspection, fuel filter replacement, or fuel pump evaluation.

We have 2 2022 Jeep vehicles with the EcoDiesel engines in them (a Gladiator and Wrangler) that we purchased in 2022. I am filing a case for each of them on this site. In April 2023 there was a recall of the fuel pump on the 3.0 EcoDiesel and to date the problem has not been rectified for either of my vehicles. We have made notification to the dealership that we want to get this done but they say they do not have the parts in stock to do it. The dealership said they only get 1 fuel pump a month to replace and we are waiting and have been waiting for about a year since we notified the dealership for this safety issue to be rectified. I am filing this complaint as directed by the NHTSA website because I feel this issue has not been handled in a timely fashion and I believe that it is irresponsible of Jeep to not rectify this in a much quicker fashion. Each time we call the dealership we are told they do not know when it will be rectified.

My 4E is currently under recall for a battery/fire issue so have been relying on gas to fill the vehicle. Recently, after pumping gas for 10-15 seconds it shuts itself off at the pump and often gas spills out from the fuel neck. Jeep has had this problem on many of their vehicles for years and it is not covered warranty. There needs to be a safety recall. Its horrible I cant charge the vehicle and now I cant put gas in it either.

Vehicle has a recall on it for the high pressure fuel pump. I have been told by the dealership this part is on back order and can take 12 months before they can fix the High Pressure Fuel Pump. I called a second dealer ship and they also told me it could take 3-12 months before they could fix it due to limited supply of the part. DMV will not give me my car tags until this recall is remedied.

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. Upon taking the vehicle in for emissions testing, the vehicle failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the speed sensor. The vehicle was repaired; however, the vehicle failed the emissions test. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who was unable to determine a failure, but informed the contact that it might be related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V767000 (Fuel System, Gasoline, Engine) and advised the contact to drive the vehicle for 700 miles before returning. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V767000 (Fuel System, Gasoline, Engine) and the VIN was included, and parts were ordered. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 20,000.

In April 2023 I was advised via a letter from Mopar of an important recall concerning the “High Pressure Fuel Pump” in my 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The correspondence warned that a failure of the fuel pump could result in a catastrophic crash without prior warning. The letter also indicated that “a remedy for this condition is not currently available”. Having not heard from the manufacturer for several months after receiving the recall notice, I contacted the recall hotline in July to request an update. The agent I spoke with indicated that parts to address the recall are not yet available, and she was unable to provide me with an estimated timeframe for the repair. The lack of a remedy, despite the implied severity of this recall, leaves me deeply concerned with the safety of my car. I rely on my vehicle for daily transportation and feel as though I’m taking a risk driving it. The car is less than one year old and has only 6378 miles on the odometer.
