2021 Jeep Wrangler Fuel System Problems

Your vehicle stalled and wouldn't restart, leaving you stranded until it finally started after 30 minutes. The dealership identified a faulty fuel pump as the cause, but fuel pumps are on indefinite backorder due to widespread failures across Jeep vehicles. NHTSA Recall 22V-767. This recall was issued in October 2022, and the manufacturer has failed to complete the recall on our vehicle.

The Engine light came on 3 weeks ago and I took it to the auto shop to find out what is wrong. P1547 is the code that the auto mechanic told me was coming up on the scan. He said it could be the gas cap so I had that replaced, but the light came back on in 2 days.

PHEV issue. My vehicle will be using electric only mode and the internal combustion engine will turn on minutes into the trip and the battery usage is ceased. The instrument cluster will show “Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable.” The vehicle will continue using gas engine only until the vehicle is turned off.

The gas indicator indicated that I had 35 miles left to empty, it showed an eighth of a tank still available but completely shut down on me on the freeway. The car completely shut down to the point that I was not even able to pop it in neutral to help roll it to a safer place further off the highway.

The manufacturer issued recall on 10/2022 and as of 11/2023 part to fix issue is still not available

Fuel Sensor is way off. Have ran out of gas less than 2 mins after dropping below a 38 mile range twice now. Drive 20 miles round trip everyday and go through a 60 mile range on my vehicle.

Power to my vehicle ceased abruptly. Now, my vehicle will not turn all the way on. The dashboard will illuminate but the engine will not start.

3/7 7:50 AM Jeep driving in electric mode and slowly pulling up to a stop light. Jeep started beeping and threw an error about shutting down and immediately stopped on its own in traffic. Turned Jeep off and on to continue driving.
