The seatbelt retractor did NOT work on my driver seatbelt. I almost got into an accident and the seatbelt never tightened across my chest. I hurt my wrist in the process by being pushed into my steering wheel.

I lease my 2019 Jeep, and in November 2021, my then 8 year old son was trapped in the driver's side back passenger seat, where it would not retract and would only get tighter. The screws would not budge to remove the seatbelt, I had 3 people I had to ask for help as the seatbelt was getting tighter and tighter and cutting off circulation to my son. We finally had to cut him out.
