ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Jeep Gladiator and 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The instrument panel cluster may experience an internal short circuit and fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Controls and Displays."
Fix: Dealers will replace the instrument panel cluster, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed between October 3, 2024, and January 23, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 30B.

Your engine warning lights are staying on, and your windshield camera calibration has failed multiple times. More concerning, your engine completely shuts down when you come to a complete stop and won't restart on its own. The manufacturer couldn't provide a solution and instead installed a used engine that has the same problem. This is a serious drivability issue that needs proper diagnosis of the engine stalling condition and forward collision camera system.

The instrument cluster has stop functioning and you can't see milage, gas or any of the warning lights within the cluster panel. I was not in an accident but wanted to report the problem of the cluster since my jeep was not included in the recall. I have an estimate of 1,600.

The instrument panel cluster that shows the speed, odometer, and fuel levels has been sporadically 'going out' while driving. On Friday 7/18, it went out completely and did not come back on. This affects safety of driving in that I have no idea how fast I'm driving or fuel levels.

Without warning the IP panel lights up with all warnings and power steering is lost while driving. Dealership can not diagnose the issue. I have replaced both the main and the aux batteries and still have this same issue.

I was driving my 2019 Jeep Wrangler to work and my Jeep started throwing all the things on the dash, Start/Stop lost communication, ABS System lost communication, plus several other issues and I went into limp mode. I had it towed to the dealership to find out what was wrong and they told me it was the ABS Module. That was on Wednesday June 11th, 2025.

My steering wheel will lock up while driving, my windshield wipers start going off, spedometer goes to zero and won't work, the gas light goes to completely empty and won't move, when I push on the gas it won't go, my engine light goes off and starts saying service module and lists several different things. When I put it in park it won't shift into gear so I can drive it.

So driving about 50-55mph, the dash lights lite up like a christmas tree. Everything from ABS, shifter lock, sway bar, airbags, traction control, aux battery and some other things that I can't remember. Engine lost power, power steering and unable to shift out of park.

After coming to a complete stop every time, the Auto Start/Stop kicks in and when it is time to accelerate the Jeep stalls, takes itself out of drive, lights start flashing, radio goes off, and windshield wipers start going.

Note: The following is the second incident in less than a year whereby my vehicle has lost all power, and subsequently needed to be towed to the dealership. Apparently, the batteries (primary and aux/secondary) are/were being drained for some reason. The first time this occurred, there was some sort of wiring defect, possibly shorting out a circuit.

Clutch failed at 4000 miles and 3 months of ownership on a brand new 2019 Wrangler Unlimited. Blame placed on me, 2 dealerships before they would do it with out charge. 3 months later 1st recall comes out.

Instrument Panel Cluster Failure: My instrument cluster failure has been an unrepairable issue for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara which I purchased from Marysville Jeep in Marysville, Washington back in 2021 or 2022. It's been well over at least a year that I have been forced to drive this vehicle where I am unable to know my fuel level, mileage, or speed.

There is an active recall that was issued back in October 2024 for jeep wranglers 2018-2024 with the IPC (instrument panel cluster) going completely black. Service shifter light, everything on the dash bord lights, up, the wheel locks , no emergency lights can be turn on, when the service shifter lights up, or park. This is a manufacturer hazard, any one can be hurt. This happen to me in the rain , multiple times, exiting from fwy .

Every time I plug my iphone into the lighting cable that is plugged into the USB type c input the uconnect system will power off and reset itself. This will continuously happen every 5 minutes 3-4 times before it stops. This happens when the engine is on and occurs whether the car is moving or not.

When driving above 55mph both times the vehicle starts to vilently shake and slow down and jerk, complete lost of power, can push peddle down and vehicle just boggs down and revs up then down. Eventually dies and then you must shut down vehicle with key. Wait about 1 minute start and it drives fine.
