As I was driving I was stopped & told my car was on fire. I immediately stopped & hopped out & less than 30 seconds later half of the hood caught heat/fire & flew into the windshield breaking it. At least half The car is burnt to ashes

Front passenger door will not open using the key fob. It has to be opened from the inside door handle. If there was an accident the door would not be able to open from the outside.

For about a year I have had issues with my car not accelerating in stop and go traffic. I push the gas pedal and it moves a little then will not go for about 20 seconds. Sometimes the engine will flutter.

The front passenger and rear window regulators failed within 1 month of each other without any warning or symptoms. After inspection, it was identified that the plastic window regulator was completely shattered within the door. There was no damage to my vehicle that could have caused this.

Three weeks ago my dash board lit up like an orange Christmas Tree, with "ABS failure" warnings. I found the Hyundai recall notice in our car file. It said that when the dash warnings appeared, the danger of an engine fire was imminent and that should contact the Dealer that I bought the car from (Hyundai Motors- Naples, Florida-USA).

Ever since I bought my vehicle off the lot, my oil has been burning and/or leaking from the engine. I have been having to put oil in every 2-3 weeks. Also as a result of the oil problem, the oil gets on the spark plugs and coils and erodes them causing them to burn out every 6 months.

The windows of the 2016 Hyundai Tuscan go down and then the regulator went bad at that exact moment causing the windows to not go up, while driving on the highway. It is available for inspection. On a highway, I was going the speed limit between 65-70 MPH when I put one window down and attempted to put the window back up but I couldn’t.

My child or anyone in the rear passenger side can not get out of their door because the door will not open at all even when unlocked this has been like this for 4 days no matter what I try the door will not open. The door lock actuators in my 2016 hyundai tucson failed repeatedly. The first was on november 3, 2020, one week outside of the warranty. The second door lock actuator failed today (feb 5, 2021).

In september 2020 we were advised by hyundai not to park our vehicle in our garage or near a building due too a fire hazard. It is now mid-january and they still have not come up with a fix for this problem. See and attached.

This has now happened at least 4 times in the past month. It will reset after turning the car off, but on more than one occasion after turning the car off, the engine doesn’t restart right away.

While I was driving on the highway my check engine light started blinking. I immediately pulled off on the next exit 1/4 mile from when the light started blinking. After stopping completely off the exit the engine stalled and both the oil light and battery light popped on.

I have to change my oil every 2,000 miles because of the leak, when Ive been told this car should be changing its oil for every 7,000 miles. Recently the transmission was replaced because the original one was defective. We were just at the dealership on 3/15/2023 in Edmond, OK and we were not notified of the issue of the vehicle being susceptible to being easily stolen due to the negligence of Hyundai. APPARENTLY, THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE BY HYUNDAI ACCORDING TO PEOPLE WRITING ABOUT IT ON A POPULAR AUTOMOTIVE WEBSITE AND I AM HOPING THAT ATTENTION BROUGHT TO THIS FLAW WILL TRIGGER A RECALL. OTHER HYUNDAIS ARE UNDER RECALL FOR THIS SAME ISSUE, BUT MY VIN DOES NOT SHOW UP AS COVERED. THIS IS AN EXTREME HAZARD AS THE CAR IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, AND IF THE SENSOR ARE NOT FUNCTIONING, PROPERLY, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THE AIRBAGS OR OTHER SAFETY SYSTEMS WILL FUNCTION AS INTENDED WITH THIS UNDERLYING PROBLEM. THE RECALL NEEDS TO BE EXPANDED TO INCLUDE ALL OF THE 1.6 TUCSONS, AS IT'S OBVIOUSLY AN ISSUE ACROSS THE MANUFACTURER AND MULTIPLE MODELS. My back passenger door lock actuator is failing. I am unable to open my door from the inside or outside after the door has been locked. Once you hit the unlock button, there is a tiny part in the lock actuator that is not fully returning to the left which leaves that specific door still locked.

This is the 2 time this happens the 1st times was the back door we still had warranty we got that fixed not its the driver side it does not unlock we have to go into the passenger side to unlock the driver side. If someone is following me how an I going to get into my car! This is a hazardous safety issue.

About a week ago the rear passenger door occasionally began to remain locked once the vehicle was parked and shut off, instead of unlocking automatically. Now, this happens multiple times a day and the rear driver side door has started to do the same. I have 2 small children that are both in car seats and I am concerned that I will not be able to get them out of the car.

The back left driver side door locked and can't be opened by any means. Child lock not on.

The right driver side door does not open from the outside after the car has been locked then unlocked using the key fob. Removing the key manually from the fob does not get the door to open. The only way to open the door from the outside is to leave the vehicle unlocked or to open it from the inside after going through another door.

Both of my back doors will not open from the inside or out. Thanks to youtube I watched videos on how to open doors from the inside I had to pull latch and then stick screwdriver in there to lift cable up up door would open. This is very dangerous for doors to not open up, taking time to use a screwdriver to open them up is ridiculous, according to youtube the cable was made too short.

While running errands in her 2016 Hyundai Tucson my wife rolled down her front driver and passenger side windows. When she encountered rain she attempted to roll both windows up, but the passenger side window would not roll up, causing a dangerous distraction where heavy rain was entering the vehicle while she was driving.

In the past six months, three of the four window regulators on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson stopped working. Recently, one of my windows fell out while driving on the highway. Looks like this is a manufacturing defect as hundreds of complaints have been reported on the internet.

Without any warning, previous issues or unusual sounds, the REAR, passenger window would not roll up. I had a child in the backseat at the time, which was the first concern and the second being a security issue after the fact. In addition, after doing some research it sounds as though this is an ongoing issue with the Hyundai's (all windows) and should be considered for Manufacture Recall.

Window motors, modules and regulators go out frequently (shortly after warranty ends). This usually happens one window after another in short time & is a very costly fix of $500+ per window.

Window motors and regulators are prone to failure. All 4 of the window motors/regulators have failed within the past year. Apparently the regulator is made of plastic and falls apart easily.

Rear driver side door will not unlock either by electronic or manual manuvers - Locked in senario. Passenger door wont unlock electrinically but manually can open with handle.

When I unlock all doors from the driver side inside you cannot enter the vehicle on the passenger side front door from the outside handle, you have to manually reach over and pull from the inside

Sensor default, ABS on dashboard, acceleration on dashboard, oil lights default on dashboard, electrical problems, and radio default. My vehicle is still under warranty however im trying to figure out will warranty cover for all of the problems within my vehicle.

3 of the 4 doors do not open either from inside or outside , I get scared now not knowing if I'm going to get trapped in an emergency situation

1.driver side rear passenger door would not open from outside or inside. It eventually worked by pulling really hard from outside. Driver's door will not open from outside but will from inside.

R/r door lock actuator failure. Door will not open. Safety hazard for anyone in rear seat to exit vehicle.

All doors locked and won't open with key/fob. If a child is locked in there and I can't get inside this issue could be extremely dangerous. Manufacturer refuses to fix.

Door actuators fail and doors cannot be opened. This is a huge safety issue and hyundai has not addressed the issue with an updated design or recall on older failing door actuators. Note, when I say old, these are 5-6 years old.

Unable to open the back passenger door because door lock actuator fails. won't open from inside (manually or with key fob) or outside thus trapping the passenger. This is a concerning safety hazard.

The passenger side back door will not open when car is unlocked. The door will not open from the inside either. The handle has to be pulled forcefully several times before the door will open.

The rear driver door is stuck closed no matter what I do. After looking online, it seems like multiple people are having the same issue with the door actuator going out. Now if people are in my back seat, people are stuck and have to go out the other door.

The doors on this car keep failing to open. About 3 years ago I had to replace the locking mechanism on the driver front door. The door would not open from the outside.

Vehicle brake lights not working bulb is not blown light will come on when light housing is out. Doors stuck will not open window off track

First the back brake light on the driver's side went out and I tried several bulbs put in but they didn't work. Next the driverd door would not open from thr outside after thr unlock button was pushed. Then the airbags went out.

Back passenger door will not open from the inside or outside and the window will only roll up or down using the switch on the door and not the master switch on the driver door. Presents a safety hazard for any back seat passenger. It was working on minute and then completely quit with the windowdown.

Rear driver's side door will not unlock or open manually. This is a huge safety risk.

The right rear door of the vehicle will not open from either the inside or outside. It was a sudden failure. Worked when we stopped the vehicle, did not work when we returned to the vehicle 15 minutes later.

I have one door handle (back passenger side) that has broken off, one door handle (front drivers) starting to fail where I have to pull it 2 times to open the door. Also, the front 2 windows will no longer roll down and the back passenger window will not roll up.

All four of my windows have stopped working. The motor part works b/c I can hear it...the window just doesn't go up or down. It's likely off the tracks.

Windows do not open. This is a safety concern in the case passengers need to evacuate the vehicle through the windows.

2016 hyundai tucson eco: vehicle was stationary and I noticed the air bag indicator is illuminated. I removed keys from ignition and re-started with same results. Not sure if it's a module or a defective restraint system.

The doors at times will not open, power windows will not go down. Vehicle hesitates when driving. When unlocking doors with remote, doors lock back on their own.

2016 hyundai tucson does not accelerate or reverse does not accelerate when in motion, does not reverse

Hyundai tucson 2016. I have change the windows mechanical 3 times. Once the car is on the windows gets down and wont work until.you change the part that puts it up.

The problem occurred when the vehicle was parked; the doors automatically unlocked when I put the vehicle in park but when the passengers tried to leave through the rear driver's side door it would not open from inside. I tried opening the handle from outside thinking it was child locks but the door would not open that way either.

Rear passenger door will not open when unlocked with either outside handle nor inside handle without jarring door. Safety issue due to not being able to get children out of carseat

Power door locks/door actuators stop working which prevents door from opening from the inside or outside on both rear doors and front passenger door. Doors would remain locked after driving making it impossible to get out of vehicle for any passengers.

The car when at a stop, you go to press the gas pedal to take off and there is a delay in the car actually acknowledging and taking off to accelerate. It has happened a few times periodically and it is now becoming more frequent

Right door are not working from in or out side front and back

Front passenger window went down and won't go up. Window motor is working but window won't go up.

3 of the 4 windows won't go up or down.

The electric system is acting up. The answer and hang up bottom on steer stop working for months,the driver side window want go down.and the key in the car.it say that key not detected

Since I bought the car in dec 2015 this has happened 3 times. While I am driving the message "battery discharge warning! Please use the system with engine running" at hyundai of louisville in dixie they said nothing was wrong.

I have owned the vehicle about a week. I drove into in the garage and parked the night before without incident. Heard a sound of a fan or small motor running somewhere around the vehicle before I went in for the night, but couldn't determine if it was from the vehicle or from the garage heater unit.

The air conditioning will quit working and just blow warm air. This has happened over 5 times. Usually just turning the system off and then back on after a few seconds will restart the system.
