Your 2017 Pilot lost engine power and stalled three times while driving, forcing you to coast to a stop. The dealership replaced the fuel pump after diagnosing low fuel rail pressure, but the stalling continued even after the $1,694 repair and the dealer couldn't reproduce the problem. Your car won't restart for 10-15 minutes after each stall, which creates a serious safety hazard if you can't safely pull over. This issue may require further fuel system diagnostics or component replacement to identify the root cause of the repeated stalling.

While driving at highway speeds (70 mph), your engine suddenly cuts out and loses all power, with RPMs dropping to zero and no acceleration possible until the engine restarts after you pull over. No warning lights appear before this happens, and it has occurred multiple times. This creates a serious safety hazard for you, your passengers, and other drivers. The issue likely involves your fuel system or engine control components and will require diagnostic testing to identify the root cause.

At times, when I attempt to accelerate, the fuel pump malfunctions, causing the vehicle to stall. This has almost caused accidents in the middle of intersections on multiple locations. When I attempt to cross intersections with other cars, my car is almost hit when it suddenly stops.

To whom it may concern, I own a 2017 Honda Pilot which recently stalled while I was driving on the highway, forcing me to pull over. There was no indication that anything was wrong with the vehicle at the time - no check engine lights, no warning indicators, no alerts - this happened suddenly and unexpectedly.

Occasionally when stopped at a red light the car's auto engine cut off during idle will not restart as it should when I try to go. I must then put the car in park, wait 2-3 minutes, then it will finally restart. I took it to my dealership who told me they were aware of the problem and did not know how it could be fixed.

While driving at low speeds with your foot on the gas pedal, your transmission unexpectedly shifted into neutral, and several warning lights came on. This happened after you had the fuel injectors replaced at a dealer. The dealer diagnosed the problem as a faulty fuel pump and catalytic converter that need replacement. This issue may be related to a known Honda recall affecting the fuel system.
