2017 Honda Pilot Fuel System Problems

I returned from work at approximately 5 pm on 03-01-22. As I prepared to enter my garage, I realized I could not pull in due to objects in the way. I put my foot on the brake, and as I planned to reverse, the car lurched forward and into the side of my house!

Emission Code P0430. Changed everything related using OEM Parts and still showing the same code. O2s Sensors changed, Fuel Injectors by the dealer under warranty and Catalytic Converter change and still P0430 Permanent Code.

The car began making a grinding noise, shimmied and surged. Independent mechanic found documentation online that Honda reported that if this occurred in 2017 Honda Pilots the problem could be the Fuel Pump Direct Injection High Pressure part. To correct problem this part must be replaced.

My 2017 pilot 6speeds gave a really bas gas smell then my it started to sound like an exhaust leak but after going my regular mechanic it was confirmed that my high pressure fuel pump was bad. I cant afford the cost and labor so now im hoping my car would also come included with the fuel pump warranty. I keep up with regular maintenance and currently only has 72k miles on it.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding Honda's refusal to address a known issue with my 2017 Honda Pilot Touring AWD, despite the existence of a service bulletin. My vehicle has been consistently experiencing error code P0430, which pertains to the catalytic converter and emissions system. This error happens while driving several times.

When I turned on the engine for me 2017 Honda Pilot, check engine light and every system in the car had a problem. "AWD system problem", "Emissions system problem", "Steering problem" and many more. Went to the local honda dealer and they diagnosed it as a high pressure fuel pump problem.

My engine light came on with the words engine emission problem on my 2017 Honda Pilot. Upon research, there is a Honda Warranty Extension on 2017-2019 pilots if you receive error code P0420. I took my vehicle in for service and was told that is indeed the error code, but unfortunately, the fuel injector and connector are on back order and could not be immediately repaired.

I had my fuel pump replaced today and there were 3 other cars Hondapilot there for the same reason needing a fuel pump replacement. Person at counter advised there was an unusual amount of request they were getting to replace the fuel pump

Fuel injection pump makes really loud noise and reduction of engine power. Took it to the dealer for diagnosis and was told the fuel pump needs a replacement. Have been waiting 2-3 weeks for parts, with no loaner or estimated timeline provided.

Engine light ones on...codes say it is an emission problems. It is the injectors. The dealer says they repair one a week!

Took my honda pilot elite 2017 in after having the check engine light on displaying "emissions service problem". It was diagnosed at our honda dealership as p0430 and need all fuel injectors replaces. My SUV had only 39,000 miles on it and was outside the manufacturers warranty by 3,000 miles.

Around 30000 miles, the car started showing slgns of sluggishness. Concerns that were voiced to the dealership during routine maintenance were met with comments that they didn't see an issues. Then at about 45000 miles, the check engine light came on indicating an emissions problem (p0430: catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 2)).

Vehicle fuel pipe ruptured during start-up on two occasions, leading to fuel leaks in engine compartment and above fuel tank while driving away from parked position. Ruptures were attributed to rodents damaging plastic fuel pipe sections. Failure #1: 7,232 miles, plastic pipe elbow high up in engine compartment.

Emissions System Problem is an ongoing issue. I have used cataclean, only used premium gasoline, and had it reset multiple times. I feel there is an issue with acceleration from a stop.

Do investigate honda pilot 2017 and some 2016 system emissions failure at 50k miles. It appears they have fuel injectors problem.

The emission light continually comes on in the truck they make it go off after a month or 2 back on again.

The capless fuel filler neck has a design flaw that allows water to get behind the outermost flap. In colder climates, this water can freeze between the flaps, preventing the fuel flap from opening, making it impossible to get a gas pump in to refuel the vehicle.
