1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) modulator failed. This component is responsible for controlling the stability and traction of the vehicle. The faulty part is still installed in the vehicle and is available for inspection upon request. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The failure of the VSA modulator compromised the vehicle’s ability to maintain stability during braking and cornering, especially in wet or slippery conditions. This increased the risk of losing control of the vehicle, potentially endangering myself, passengers, and others on the road. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes, the issue has been diagnosed and confirmed by a certified service center. They identified the VSA modulator as the faulty component requiring replacement. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? The vehicle has been inspected by a certified service center, but not by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives at this time. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? Yes, warning lights related to the VSA and ABS systems appeared on the dashboard. These indicators first came on approximately 4 months ago when I was going through an automatic car wash, signaling a malfunction in the stability control system.
2014 Honda accord, about 70,000 miles. Original owner. We had all the dashboard lights come on. VSA Modulator. Local Honda Dealer found the following. TECH FOUND CODES 123-11 VSASOLENOID VALVE MALFUNCTION AND Request Sub-total U0416-68 VSA BRAKE ACTUATOR MALFUNCTION. THE 2 CODES CONFIRM THAT THE FAILURE IS THE VSA MODULATOR. A NEW MODULATOR. PART# IS 04571-T2G-L01. INSTALLED IS $3344.86 Contacted a local auto repair show that deals with Hondas. This seems to be a common issue, poor design of the circuit board. Thin wires to the wiring harness. There are 3rd party business that can repair the boards, so know issue. would be interesting to get info from them. I brought my 2014 Honda Accord to an authorized Honda dealership to have the CV axle recall completed. The dealership informed me that they would not perform the recall unless I paid out of pocket for “stripped/over-tightened bolts” that must be removed in order to complete the recall. Since this is a federal safety recall, I understand the law requires the manufacturer and dealer to complete the recall at no charge, including all labor and parts necessary to carry out the repair. By refusing to perform the recall unless I pay, the dealer is preventing me from receiving a federally mandated safety repair. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this matter and ensure Honda/dealership complies with recall obligations.
The ABS modulator assembly has a Yaw Rate Sensor (Code 81-19) internal circuit malfunction that affects the anti-lock braking system. The ABS uses pressure from the ABS pump to pulse each wheel's brakes individually if the vehicle slides or skids when braking. This part needs to function properly in slick and icy conditions for safe braking distance, etc. It seems that this part has failed in other countries on a routine basis and is becoming a problem for different Honda models and years. The failure of this component is also not consistent with mileage factors (meaning it fails at low, intermediate, and high mileage). I believe there should be a recall for this issue.
About a year ago, I was driving my car on the highway and it jerked and started smoking. At that same time, my forward collision warning came on. After doing a quick google search, I found I was not the only one with this issue. Honda Dealership told me I needed a new VSA modulator that cost thousands of dollars. I finally was able to get it fixed, and now (today 5/11/25) less than a few months after getting a new VSA modulator, the same thing happened. This needs to be an official recall. It is a safety hazard.
Was driving to work on April 11,2025. Engine stopped working after stopping at red light, all lights on dash came on-causing me to have to push the car from a main road into a business in order to not impede traffic or get hit. Had to have it towed to a body shop. Waiting to see what is wrong with the car, will update with more information as I have it.

I'm trying to file a complaint about the 2014 Honda accord having a defective starter!! My starter went out on my car today and apparently it's very common problem on my year of Honda accord! Why hasn't Honda issued a recall on their starters for the 2014 Honda accords???? My neighbor is a licensed mobile mechanic and just confirmed that yes my starter is bad and I will need a new one! I don't have any documentation to upload because he did not charge me since we are next door neighbors! I definitely have decided that I won't be wasting my money buying a genuine Honda accord starter and will go with a aftermarket one because after reading reviews and stuff I am worried that I will be wasting my money on a obviously very problematic auto part and nobody had anything good to say about the starter for my year make model of car !! If I am not in the right section on this website that I should be 2 file a complaint about my starter then please let me know where I need 2 go to file it so hopefully Honda will finally fix the problem and recall the starter that is defective! part 66988 was diagnosed and confirmed starter motor not engaging replaced starter motor and verified repairs for 1062.11 dollars. I was stranded multiple times with the car not starting, as this problem was intermittent. we have a number of hondas, the starter never failed. I looked at your web site and there were many complaints about this problem. I contacted honda customer service and they refused to acknowledge that this is a known problem, and not subject to recall. I want to call your attention that many honda customers have lodged complaintes and a recall notice should be considered. thank you
This was not a incident, I just want to report that for months now I have problems with the ignition it won't crank right away. I have got the ignition switch replaced and it is still doing it , it is a little better but not perfect. I know their are a lot of complains about this, Please submit a recall on this. Car has bad battery sensors. When checking the battery status, it always says the battery is in good condition but it is actually dead. The car also consistently puts out a code "P219A." Dealership suggest that fuel injectors are going bad but the fuel injectors shouldn't go bad this early.
Have replaced starter 2 times in 5 months, car would start sometimes, sometimes leaving me stranded. Replaced it in August of 2023, after purchasing from dealership in January 2023, driving 5k miles, then replaced it again today January 26 2024. I drove less than 1k miles since August! This time the starter made a loud whirling sound but started 3 days ago, yesterday it didn't it again and would not start at all, causing me to lose a days work thankful not stranded again. Took to mechanic and had 3rd starter put in today.
Honda has issued a service bulletin for a known issue with the starter on my 2014 Honda Accord V6. I have been in several situations with my children where my car would not start for 2-3 hours. This is very much a safety concern in a Michigan winter! The repair to this costs ~$750 and only needs to be done because of a manufacturing error.
Failed VSA Module. Affects the ABS and connected systems. Safety risks: reduced safety due to skidding, reduced steering control during braking, accelerated tire wear, tire deformation, increased breaking distance, wrong brake force distribution, error codes on dash, and decreased function of other systems that rely on ABS. Honda dealer confirmed the issue and said this was very common in accords around the same year. Error codes on dash that appeared were traction control, ABS, power steering, and E-brake.
My dashboard is lit up with lights .. Abs,break vehicle skid control, and steering wheel .I need a new abs control module I am told I have 178,000 The breaks are new, but now making a funny nose. Including shaking and vibrating and squeeking in my driver side wheel. The driver wheel makes a clunking noise only when the lights turn on. And breaks seem to be acting weird.. when lights come on my steering wheel also makes weird noise when turning.
Starter replacement. This is the 2nd time we are having to replace the starter and vehicle has 85,000 miles.

I am having starter issues with my vehicle. I have taken great care of this vehicle and started having issues with the car last year. I replaced the starter because it would not start back, if I turned the car off while running errands ( shopping or filling up with gas). I have now replaced the starter 3 times, and replaced the ignition switch and batteries. I have run every possible diagnostic at the dealership and at local mechanics in my city. I am concerned that I am reading that many drivers across the USA are facing this issue and the dealership cannot fix it or the local repair shops.

I WAS DENIED FOR A SERVICE ON SAFETY RECALL AFTER I HAVE ASKED THE RECEPTIONIST AT THE SERVICE DESK WHEN I HE WILL BE ABLE TO HELP ME WHILE I WAS WAITING IN LINE MORE THAN FEW MINUTES. THE VEHICLE IS TAKING LONGER TO GO INTO ENGINE MODE. IT'S LAGGING

ON OCTOBER 31, THE AXLE ON MY CARE SNAPPED IN HALF. I WAS IN A SHOPPING CENTER AREA, TRYING TO MAKE A TURN AND THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE FORWARD OR BACKWARD. I LEARNED THAT THE AXLE WAS BROKEN WHEN I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO A HONDA DEALERSHIP. I HAD THE CAR REPAIRED IN THE AMOUNT OF $312.49. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS A FREAK INCIDENT AND THAT IT WAS A DEFECT IN THE AXLE BECAUSE IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BROKEN IN THAT MANNER. I WANT HONDA TO REIMBURSE FOR THE COST TO REPAIR. HONDA TELLS ME IT'S DUE TO THE TYPE OF WASH FLUID I'M USING AS WELL AS BIRD DROPPINGS AND TREE SAP HOWEVER, I WASH THE VEHICLE REGULARLY LIKE ALL OTHER VEHICLES I'VE OWNED, ALL UNDER THE SAME WASHING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS, AND THIS IS THE ONLY VEHICLE THIS HAS HAPPENED ON. MY CAR IS 5 YRS OLD AND HAS 90 000 + MILES, AND IS GOING TO NEED A 2ND STARTER REPLACED. SOMETHING HAS TO BE BURNING UP MY STARTER.

MY 2014 HONDA ACCORD PLUG IN HAS STALLED TWICE WHILE DRIVING (ONCE ON THE FREEWAY AND ONCE IN THE MIDDLE OF A SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD). NO WARNING LIGHTS OR NOISES TO GIVE ME THE FYI THAT IT'S STALLING, IT JUST SUDDENLY STARTS TO SLOW AND IF I PRESS ON THE GAS PEDAL IT COMPRESSES TO THE FLOOR WITH EASE...IT ALSO SHOWS ME IN EV MODE WHEN THE CAR HAS NO EV CHARGE REMAINING. IT'S LIKE IT'S IN LIMP MODE. TURNING THE CAR OFF AND TURNING IT BACK ON AGAIN FIXES THE ISSUE, BUT WHEN I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER (TWICE) THEY HAVE PULLED THE COMPUTER AND HAVE FOUND NO RECORDS ON THE CAR. THEY SAY IT'S "AS IF THE CAR HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN BEFORE".
2014 HONDA ACCORD START ISSUE I PURCHASED THE CAR ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND AT THE TIME IT ONLY HAD ABOUT 30K MILES. THE STARTER DIED AFTER ABOUT 62K MILES. THE HONDA DEALERSHIP CHARGED ME $840 TO HAVE IT REPLACED. AFTER IT WAS REPLACED I FOUND OUT THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAD ISSUES WITH STARTER ONLY AFTER 3K EVEN WHEN THE CARS WERE UNDER WARRANTY. THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST HONDA FOR THE ACCORD FOR YEARS 2013-2015. HONDA NEW THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE STARTER HAS FAILED TO DO A RECALL ON THE CAR. THERE IS NO WAY THAT MY STARTER SHOULD HAVE FAILED SO SOON.
GRINDING NOISE AT START UP. HAD TO REPLACE STARTER AT GREAT COST

CAR JUST TURNED 5 YEARS OLD WITH 85,000 MILES AND THE CAR WON'T START. I WAS ALMOST STRANDED AT THE COFFEE SHOP WHEN AFTER THE 12TH TIME TRYING TO START CAR IT STARTED. WHEN KEY TURNED NOTHING HAPPENS. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK TO DEALER WHERE TOLD ME THE STARTER IS NO GOOD AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. I'M EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL PROBABLY NOT BUY ANOTHER HONDA. I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT A HONDA BECAUSE THEY WERE KNOWN FOR THEIR RELIABILITY BUT A $700 ISSUE ON A 5 YEAR OLD CAR IS NOT RELIABLE. I WOULD'VE BOUGHT A CHEVY IF THAT'S WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I'VE NOTICED THAT THE CAR IS CONSUMING OIL AT LEAST 1 QUART BEFORE 1K MILES. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AT YONKERS HONDA ON 12/28/2018 AND THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ADVISED TO BRING BACK THE CAR AT 1K MILES FOR AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST.
I AM HAVING THE SAME STARTER ISSUES AS SO MANY ON A BLOG THAT I WAS READING AFTER HAVING MY 2014 HONDA ACCORD FOR 4 YEAR. I JUST CAME BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND I WAS TOLD YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE STARTER AND THIS PART IS OUT OF WARRANTY. THEY QUOTED ME 865. THEN I COMPLAIN AND THEY CALLED THE HONDA REP AND THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY 200. I AM STILL IN A STATE OF SHOCK AFTER SEEING ALL THESE COMPLAIN AND HONDA HASN'T ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE YET. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH HONDA AND ITS REPUTATION
PRESSING THE START BUTTON WITH KEY FOB NEXT TO IT TURNS ON THE IGNITION AS WELL AS THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH BUT DOES NOT CRANK THE ENGINE, WILL HAVE TO TRY MULTIPLE TIMES TO START THE ENGINE. THIS IS HAPPENING INTERMITTENTLY AND STARTED ABOUT A MONTH AGO, SEEMS TO BE GETTING PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AS THE LAST INCIDENT REQUIRED REPEATING 6 TIMES TO GET THIS STARTED. PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND ONLY HAS 30K MILES, ALL MAINTENANCE PERFORMED AT THE DEALERSHIP. DISAPPOINTED TO EXPERIENCE SUCH ISSUE FROM A HONDA AS THE DECISION TO PURCHASE WAS SOLELY BASED ON THE REPUTATION OF HONDA.
I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING TROUBLE STARTING MY CAR RECENTLY. I PUSH THE START BUTTON HAVE MY FOOD ON THE BREAK AND IT TAKES A FEW TIMES SOMETIMES OVER 4 TIMES TO ACTUALLY START THE CAR. MY CAR WAS CHECKED TWICE FOR THE BATTERY SENSOR RECALL ISSUE AFFECTING MY MAKE AND MODEL AND IT CHECKED OUT FINE BOTH TIMES.

WE HAVE APPROXIMATELY 34,000 MILES ON OUR 2014 HONDA ACCORD V6. AS MANY PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINED, THERE IS A FAULTY STARTER ISSUE. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, AND WE ARE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, WE DEPRESS THE PUSH START BUTTON AND HEAR MANY CLICKS BUT NO TURN OVER OF THE ENGINE. WE HAVE TO MAKE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO START THE ENGINE. UPON CALLING THE DEALERSHIP, THEY WERE WELL AWARE OF THE ISSUE BUT STATED HONDA HAS YET TO DO ANYTHING TO RESOLVE THE WIDESPREAD PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN UNKNOWN LOCATION AND WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNKNOWN.
I RECENTLY CAME UPON AN ARTICLE ABOUT 2014 HONDA'S THAT WOULD OVER HEAT AND YOU WOULD LOSE POWER CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THIS HAPPENED TO MY VEHICLE ABOUT A WEEK AGO I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT LOW SPEED IN TRAFFIC AND MY VEHICLE BEGAN TO STALL BEFORE IT STALLED OUT I PRESSED THE GAS AND IT RETURNED TO NORMAL RPM. FOR SERVICE.DEALER SAID THE STARTER WAS DEFECTIVE AND NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY SINCE THE TIME WAS OVER THE 3YEAR COVERAGE PERIOD EVENTHOUGH THE MILEAGE WAS UNDER THE 36000 MILES.DEALER SAID 2014 AND 2015 YEARS HAD SOME BAD STARTERS INSTALLED BY FACTORY.I PAID FOR NEW STARTER INSTALLED FOR $775. WHY DID HONDA PUT BAD STARTERS IN CARS THAT WOULD BECOME DEFECTIVE SHORTLY AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRATION? MANY COMPLAINTS FROM 2014 & 2015 HONDA ACCORD OWNERS ABOUT THE PROBLEM.HONDA SHOULD HAVE ISSUED A REPAIR BASED ON GOODWILL. DEALER SAID NO. WHEN YOU CAN'T START THE CAR QUICKLY THAT'S A SAFETY ISSUE. CAR WOULD NOT START QUICKLY WHILE PARKED IN DRIVEWAY OVERNIGHT,PARKED AT A STORE PARKING WITH ENGINE STILL WARM OR PARKED ON CITY STREET WITH ENGINE STILL WARM.TIME OF YEAR WAS APRIL AND MAY 2018.

THE KEYLESS ENTRY ALLOWS THE CAR TO BE DRIVEN WITHOUT HAVING THE KEY IN THE CAR. ACCORDING TO HONDA, THIS IS A FEATURE. AS I HAVE HAD TO DRIVE MANY MILES TO BRING THE KEY (WHICH WAS IN THE CAR WHEN IT WAS STARTED, BUT LEFT IN THE HOUSE BEFORE DRIVING OFF) TO MY HUSBAND BECAUSE HE DIDN'T REALIZE HE DID NOT HAVE HIS KEY UNTIL HE WENT TO START HIS CAR. HE WAS 9 MILES AWAY FROM OUR HOME. IN MY MIND, THIS IS A PROBLEM BECAUSE YOU CAN BECOME STRANDED WITHOUT KNOWING IT.

MY CAR TIRES GOT BURSTED THIS YEAR(2017) AND I WENT WITH MY INSURANCE THROUGH HONDA OF CONCORD COLLISION CENTER TO FIX THE SAME. DURING JAN 2017, THE HONDA CHECKED ALL MY TIRES AS PER MY INSURANCE FIXES ONLY 2 TIRES AND NEVER REPORTED ANY ISSUES WITH MY OTHER 2 TIRES. EVEN THE SERVICE STATION, WHERE I HAD BEEN DOING MY SERVICE SINCE 2015, DID NOT SUGGEST OR DID MY TIRE ALIGNMENT. HOWEVER, PROACTIVELY, I DID MY TIRE ALIGNMENT @ 26000 MILES, WHEN HONDA OF CONCORD COLLISION CENTER REPLACED MY TIRES. AFTER THAT I HAVE DONE TIRE ROTATIONS, ROUTINE CHECK WITH OIL FILLS WITH HONDA OF CONCORD SERVICE STATION. SINCE MY SERVICE, IN THE PAST ONE MONTH, I HAD MY TPMS LIGHT ON FOR 3 TIMES, EVERY TIME I CALLED HONDA, THEY ASKED ME TO RESET IT MYSELF IN THE CAR, WHICH I DID. BUT, I FELT BEFORE MY WARRANTY EXPIRES AROUND 36 K MILES, I CALLED IN HONDA FOR APPOINTMENT SEP 2017. TODAY, WHEN I DROPPED MY CAR, HONDA SERVICE GUYS CALLED ME AND SAID, I OWN RESPONSIBILITY IN CHANGING MY TIRES WHICH HAS WEAR AND TEAR COVER TILL 60 K MILES AND I SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO CHANGE BRAKES AT REAR END, FLUIDS, ETC ETC.. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT MY WARRANTY ON TIRES AND BRAKES.. THEY WERE RELUCTANT AND SAID ITS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE ALL OF A SUDDEN. I HAD GIVEN CAR FOR SERVICE ONLY A MONTH BACK, WHERE I ASKED THEM TO CHECK EVERYTHING AND I BELIEVE, THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING, SINCE THEY ARE REPORTING ME NOW TO DRIVE AS UNSAFE AND NOT AT THE TIME OF TIRE ROTATION OR CHECKS. LOSS OF ENGINE POWER MAY RESULT IN A VEHICLE STALL,INCREASING THE RISK OF CRASH.IF THE ENGINE LEAKS OIL IN THE PROXIMITY OF HOT ENGINE OR EXHAUST COMPONENTS,THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF A FIRE. HONDAS NUMBER FOR THIS RECALL IS JP2.I SEE SOME OIL BETWEEN BLOCK CYLINDER AND HEAD OF MY CAR.

YOU SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE OFF FROM YOUR KEYS! WHAT IF I WAS IN A REMOTE AREA OF THE MOUNTAINS WITH NO CELL SIGNAL?! THIS IS VERY UNSAFE.
I BOUGHT THE CAR CERTIFIED USED FROM HONDA. 2 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE, MY SON PULLED INTO THE DEALERSHIP (TO HAVE COSMETIC WORK DONE) AND THE CARS ENGINE "LOCKED UP".( THE CAR SALESMAN WAS PRESENT AT THIS TIME) THE CAR JUST "DIED". THE DEALER SAID THEY WOULD RECHARGE THE BATTERY, AS THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. I ASKED FOR THEM TO REPLACE THE BATTERY, SO IF THIS HAPPENED AGAIN, WE WOULD KNOW 100%, THAT IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE CAUSING THE CAR TO LOSE ALL POWER WHILE DRIVING. LESS THEN 3 WEEKS LATER, 6 DAYS BEFORE OWNING THE CAR FOR A FULL MONTH, MY SON IS DRIVING THE CAR, AND WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF A 4 WAY INTERSECTION, THE VEHICLE LOSES ALL POWER AND STOPS DEAD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. THE FIRST TIME, THE VEHICLE WAS PULLING FORWARD INTO A PARKING SPACE, THE SECOND, DRIVING FORWARD WITH A SLIGHT TURN. AFTER ARGUING WITH THE DEALER THAT THIS WAS IN FACT A HUGE SAFETY PROBLEM, AND I NOR MY SON FELT SAFE IN THE VEHICLE, DID THEY AGREE TO BUY THE VEHICLE BACK, IF I WAS WILLING TO BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THEM.
THE AIR CONDITIONING DOES NOT COOL LIKE IT SHOULD. WE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH OUR HONDA ODYSSEY.

HANGING A HANDICAP PLACARD FROM THE AUTO DIMMING REAR VIEW MIRROR CAUSED A WIRING HARNESS SHORT. THE SHORT WAS INTERMMITENT AT FIRST AND CAUSED A PARTIAL LOSS OF ACCESSORIES (AC, RADIO, ETC.) WHILE DRIVING. WITHIN 5 MILES OF THE LOSS OF ACCESSORIES, A HARD SHORT OCCURRED AND THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE STARTED. LUCKILY THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED WHEN THIS CONDITION OCCURRED DEALER REFUSED TO COVER REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY INDICATING THAT THE CONDITION WAS CAUSED BY AN OUTSIDE SOURCE (THE HANDICAP PLACARD). I APPEALED TO AMERICAN HONDA 7/13/16 AND THE SAME DECISION WAS UPHELD.

MY CAR HAS A LANE WATCH CAMERA THAT ENGAGES WHEN USING YOUR RIGHT BLINKER. WHEN MAKING AN OUTBOUND CALL, YOU SAY THE NAME OF THE PERSON YOU ARE CALLING AND THEN YOU RECEIVE A VERBAL NOTIFICATION "CALLING _____" IF BETWEEN THIS TIME AND THE TIME IT TAKES FOR THE SYSTEM TO INITIATE THE CALL AND DIAL TONE STARTS YOU HAVE TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN, WHICH ENGAGES THE LANE WATCH CAMERA, THE CALL IS CANCELED. ONCE YOU'VE TURNED THE CORNER AND THE CAMERA HAS TURNED OFF, IT WILL AGAIN SAY "CALLING ____" HOWEVER IT DOES NOT PERFORM THE CALL AND JUST SITS ON THAT SCREEN. IF YOU LIVE IN A CITY WHERE FREQUENT TURNS ARE A NORMALITY, IF YOU'RE TRYING TO DO SO AND MAKE OUTBOUND CALLS IT'S VERY DIFFICULT AND DISTRACTING AS MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS ARE OFTEN NEEDED TO MAKE THE CALL. I'VE SINCE TURNED OFF THE LANE WATCH CAMERA TO PREVENT IT FROM DISRUPTING OUTBOUND CALLS.
ON A SUNDAY MORNING, I STARTED MY CAR IN A DRIVEWAY - TURNED ON THE HEATER AND ALLOWED THE CAR TO WARM UP. WHEN I BEGAN TO BACK OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY THERE WAS A BUNCH OF THICK SMOKE COMING FROM THE HOOD OF THE CAR. THEN, I HEARD A LOUD POP SOUND AND TURNED OFF THE ENGINE AND QUICKLY JUMPED OUT OF THE CAR. A MECHANIC LOOKED AT MY CAR AND DETERMINED THAT THE WATER PUMP FROZE WHICH CAUSED THE ALTERNATOR BELT TO BREAK. THE NEXT DAY, ONCE MY CAR WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP, THE DETERMINATION WAS CONFIRMED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP. BUT, AS TO THIS DAY - I DON'T KNOW WHY IT HAPPENED. DO I HAVE A LEMON OR WILL THIS HAPPEN AGAIN? COULD THIS HAPPEN WHILE I'M DRIVING CAUSING A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT? AFTER ALL, THIS CAR ONLY HAD 18,571 MILES ON IT AND I BOUGHT IT NEW ON MARCH 9, 2014. I AM VERY CONCERNED BECAUSE OF THE UNKNOWN FUTURE SAFETY RISK.

GOT TO WORK AND LOOKED AT SUN ROOF AND IT WAS A BIG HOLE IN MY SUNROOF. 75% OF MY SUNROOF WAS MISSING OR GONE.

THE VEHICLE IS ABLE TO BE TURNED OFF WITH OUT PUTTING IN PARK. IT IS AN AUTOMATIC WITH PUSH BUTTON START. WHEN STOPPING AT AN ARRIVED LOCATION YOU ARE ABLE TO PUSH THE BUTTON TO TURN OFF YOUR VEHICLE WITH OUT PUTTING IT IN PARK WHICH THEN DISENGAGES THE GEARS. IF YOU HAPPEN TO FORGET TO PUT IT IN PARK AND SHUT THE CAR OFF IN DRIVE WHEN YOU GET OUT, THE VEHICLE WILL ROLL AWAY. ANY OTHER PUSH BUTTON START VEHICLE I HAVE USED WOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN UNTIL IT WAS PLACED IN PARK. ROLL AWAY ISSUES SHOULD AND COULD BE EASILY FIXED.
WHEN VEHICLE IS PARKED ON A SLIGHT HILL AT 20 DEGREE AND UP , THE TRUNK IS UNABLE TO STAY OPEN FOR ME TO LOAD THINGS IN .. IT HAS FELL ON MY FOREHEAD MULTIPLE TIMES HURTING ME.. I ALWAYS HAVE TO HOLD UP THE TRUNK WITH ONE ARM WHILE LOADING THINGS INTO THE TRUNK. I'VE BEEN TO HONDA DEALERS AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME ITS THE WAY IT IS. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY NEW HONDA, I NOTICED AN ODOR SIMILAR TO A GAS SMELL, SORT OF LIKE A PILOT ON WITH NO FLAME WHEN THE HEAT IS ON, THE ODOR COMES AND GOES. THE ODOR IS SO BAD AT TIMES THAT IT UPSETS MY STOMACH. I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN TO HONDA TO HAVE IT CHECKED IN NOVEMBER OF 2014, AND, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP, THE ODOR ARRIVED FOR A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF TIME AND THEN DISSIPATED. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM DOES STILL OCCUR. *JS
I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW CAR HONDA ACCORD 2014 LAST APRIL 18,ON AUGUST ,SUDDENLY IT DIDN'T START,I CALLED AAA TO CHECK BATTERY BUT AAA SAID, ITS NOT THE BATTERY ITS MORE THAN THAT. MY CAR WAS TOWED FROM NY TO NJ -ROUTE 22HONDA(WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR),THEY DID SOME REPAIR-ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT,THEN LAST NOV.2,I HAVE DIFFICULTY IN STARTING THE CAR AGAIN,FINALLY AFTER SO MANY TRIES IT STARTED AND I BROUGHT THE CAR AGAIN TO ROUTE 22 ,THEY DID REPAIR AGAIN-SENSOR REPLACEMENT. YESTERDAY NOV 15,IT DIDN'T START AT ALL EVEN SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. I DON'T FEEL SAFE WITH THIS CAR ESPECIALLY WINTER IS HERE AND ITS NOT GOOD FOR MY JOB AS A NURSE. PLEASE HELP ME. *TR
THE TRUNK FELL ON MY HEAD AND MY GRANDMOTHERS HEAD. IT DID NOT HURT WHEN IT FELL ON MY HEAD BUT MY GRANDMOTHER WAS IN PAIN WHEN IT FELL ON HERS. I LIVE ON A SLOPED DRIVEWAY, SO ANY TIME I OPEN MY TRUNK IT DOESN'T STAY OPEN AND FALLS RIGHT DOWN. IT STAYED OPEN A FEW TIMES, BUT WOULD THEN RANDOMLY COME FALLING DOWN. I CAN'T UNLOAD MY GROCERIES PROPERLY, I CAN'T LOAD MY TRUNK UP PROPERLY, IT'S VERY DISTURBING. ALSO, I TOOK IT TO TWO HONDA DEALERSHIPS AND THEY SAID 'IT WAS FINE' AND 'NOTHING WAS WRONG.' ONE EVEN SUGGESTED I USED A BROOM TO KEEP THE TRUNK OPEN (WHICH IS ABSURD BECAUSE IT'S A BRAND NEW 2014 HONDA ACCORD. BUT WHEN I SPOKE TO THE CAR REPAIR SHOP ABOUT IT, THEY SAID IT WAS NOT NORMAL AND SOMETHING WAS DEFINITELY WRONG WITH THE TRUNK. *TR
