Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Escape vehicles manufactured October 5, 2011, through April 10, 2014. Due to an assembly misalignment between the exterior door handle and the door outer panel, the affected vehicles have doors that may be difficult to close or may possibly open while driving.
Fix: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the mounting of the door handles, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on May 30, 2014. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-800-392-3673. Ford's number for this recall is 14S03.

Right passenger door came unlatched while driving. Had to manually keep the door shut while driving.
The trunk of the vehicle was open. Without warning/reason, a support bar that helps hold up the open liftgate popped off and the liftgate swung closed rapidly with its full weight, not supported by anything. The support bar that had popped off obstructed the path of the falling liftgate, causing damage to the trunk panel. The speed at which the liftgate fell at full force could have caused severe injury or death. This has not been confirmed by a dealership or anyone else- this just happened today and I have not had it looked at by anyone yet.
*car shakes as it brakes *coolant leaks (i see in the ford escape recalls there is one for coolant leaking) *upon opening doors it feel a slight stuck before opening. the doors don’t feel intact properly. *rubbers around windows appear loose. windows may not be secured.
The rear door latch does not latch and keep the door closed. There are other recalls for this issue on 2013 Ford Escapes but according to my specific VIN there is no recall. Those other recalls are NHTSA Campaign ID 20V331000 and 16V643000.
Drivers side rear door failed to close after opening/ would not latch. Took the car to a local dealership and after a week of being told it was being fixed was then told the parts were not available until 5 weeks later and that no loaner car was authorized by the dealer. So 7 weeks wait for parts is not reasonable by any std for a domestic car made within the past 10 years.bad faith, no repair no remedy offered.
While driving on I-64 with direction to Lexington, KY, the hood of the car flew back and smashed the windshield. I was going at 70mph on I-64, driving in the middle lane and with my 3yo son seated in the back in his carseat. I managed to keep control of the car, slowed down and pulled to the right side of the road. The car was non drivable, so AAA had to tow us. My insurance company, Kentucky Farm Bureau, has checked the car and stated that is totaled. I have never heard of a car's hood smashing the windshield and the latch not working. There is no police report as they stated that with no collision, there can't be a report. There was no warning lamp about this problem. When going back, the hood ripped the latch from the body of the car. Thankfully both my son and myself were not injured and no one on the road was affected by this.
There is VERY advanced rust on the bottom of the drivers side passenger door, I did some searches online and it looks like this is common on escapes from this year. I think Ford must have had a manufacturing issue because I have never seen rust develop this quickly on vehicle that is not that old and wonder if it's developing other places I can't see. Very disappointed, there is clearly and issue with these fords.
The door latches were recalled on the 2013 ford escape but now the hatch isn't staying shut. Why was only the doors recalled & not the hatch as well?
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Escape. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA campaign number: 14V239000 (Structure) however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
cannot open passenger side back door from inside or outside safety hazard if one has to exit the vehicle quickly just happened looked on internet, it is a common problem for this vehicle no warning
MY VEHICLE HAS A SAFETY RECALL SINCE JUNE 2020 BUT UNTIL NOW, THEY HAVEN'T TAKE ANY ACTION WITH IT.

I HAD MY SAFETY RECALL RESOLVED, BUT IT IS STILL SHOWING ON THE REPORT AS STILL INCOMPLETE
THE PAINT ON MY 2013, THAT HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT IS WEARING OFF IN MULTIPLE PLACES. IT LOOKS AS THOUGHT A POOR JOB WAS DONE APPLYING THE PAINT AS MY CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND ONLY HAS 45,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE BEEN QUOTED $2500 TO HAVE IT REPAIRED WHICH I DO NOT HAVE. IT SEEMS THIS IS A MANUFACTURING ISSUE THAT FORD SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR. AS SOME OF THESE SPOTS ALSO HAVE STARTED TO RUST, I WILL NEED TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF SOONER THAN LATER SO THE PROBLEM DOESN'T BECOME EVEN BIGGER.

THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. UPON INSPECTION IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT MULTIPLE SCREWS THAT SECURED THE UNDERLINING WERE LOOSE. THE LOCAL DEALER SAHARA MOTORS (597 US 6 DELTA UT) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. THE VIN WAS INACCURATE.
I FILED A COMPLAINT SOMETIME LAST WEEK ABOUT MY CAR HAVING COOLANT LEAKS AND OVERHEATING DUE TO THIS LEAK. WELL I TOOK MY CAR TO THE SHOP AND WAS OUT 400 DOLLARS TO FIX THIS. THE SHOP ENDED UP HAVING TO ORDER TWO OF THE SAME PARTS BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL FAULTY. A WEEK LATER MY CAR IS FIXED. WORKED FOR 2 DAYS AND THE PART THAT CAME DIRECTLY FROM FORD WAS FAULTY AGAIN. CAR ALMOST BLEW UP ON THE HIGHWAYS BECAUSE COOLANT WAS LEAKING EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS LITERALLY NONE IN MY CAR. WHEN IS THIS GOING TO BECOME IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO FIX? WHEN THE ENGINE IS COMPLETELY RUINED? I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY TODAY AND ALL THE LIGHTS ON MY DASH CAME ON SAYING ENGINE TEMP DANGEROUSLY HIGH. TURN ENGINE OFF IMMEDIATELY BUT BY THIS POINT I WAS ALREADY SMOKING OUT THE HOOD, IT SMELLED LIKE COOLANT INSIDE MY CAR, I PULL OVER AND GET OUT AND I SEE MY TIRED ARE SOAKED, THE WHOLE SIDEWALK UP UNDER ME WAS PUDDLED, MY ENGINE WAS COVERED IN COOLANT. I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED.
I BOUGHT MY CAR THIS YEAR AND THE HANDLE NEVER WORKED. IT STAYS STUCK IN THE OPEN POSITION AND THE PASSENGER DOOR FLYS OPEN WHILE DRIVING EVERY TIME. I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED FORD SUCH AS EXPEDITIONS AND EXPLORERS BUT I AM NOT A FAN OF THIS ESCAPE AND ALL IT'S PROBLEMS. WHILE DRIVING, IT WILL GO HIT AND SAY LOW COOLANT AND I HAVE TO REFILL COOLANT EVERY WEEK OR SO. IT'S CUTE OFF ON MY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT READS WORDS AND NOT CODES. IT SAYS ASSOCIATION OF 'SOMETHING'. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I BOUGHT IT APRIL 2019 AND I'M FED UP. MY KIDS CAN FALL OUT OF THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE DOOR OR I CAN HAVE BIG PROBLEMS WITH THESE COOLANT ISSUES AND MOTOR ISSUES.
PASSENGER FRONT DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE, WHILE DRIVING SATURDAY 9/14/2019 APPROXIMATELY 7:30 PM MY PASSENGER FRONT DOOR FLEW OPEN. I WAS TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND HAD NO PASSENGER IN MY VEHICLE. I TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO CLOSE THE DOOR, BUT IT WILL NOT CLOSE. I CALLED MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID BECAUSE THE RECALL WAS ALREADY FIXED I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS REPAIR. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, THE LEFT REAR DOOR OPENED UP. PULLED OVER TO SHUT THE DOOR.. THE DOOR WILL NOT STAY SHUT. MY SON WAS IN THE BACK SEAT AND THANKFULLY ALWAYS WEARS HIS SEAT BELT. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND SOMEONE CAN BE KILLED WITH THIS DEFECT.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY 52 YESTERDAY EVENING MY FORD ESCAPE 2013 CAUGHT ON FIRE. I WAS ABLE TO PULL TO THE SIDE AFTER IT SEIZED (BRAKES QUIT IN THE PROCESS) AND HAD TO JUMP OUT THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR AS THE WHOLE ENGINE WAS ON FIRE AND ENGULFING THE DRIVER SIDE.
THE BACK DOOR LATCH DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. I CANNOT OPEN THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR. THERE WAS A RECALL AT ONE TIME & MY DEALERSHIP SAID THEY FIXED IT BUT IT STILL ISN’T OPENING. CAN I TAKE IT BACK IN W/O A CHARGE TO ME

I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN OCTOBER 2016 (SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 16S30/NHTSA 16V-643. THE RECALL RELATED TO A SIDE DOOR LATCH THAT MAY BREAK. I REPORTED THE SITUATION VIA REQUEST # 165121. I CONTACTED MY DEALER WHO SAID THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. I BELIEVE NEARLY 3 YEARS IS LONG ENOUGH TO SATISFY A SAFETY ISSUE.
I WAS ON A ROAD TRIP THAT LASTED ABOUT 6-7 HOURS. I HAD BEEN PASSING CARS SOMETIMES AT HIGH SPEEDS. SOMETIME DURING THE DRIVING MY EYES STARTED BURNING REALLY BAD. IT CONTINUED FOR DAYS UNTIL I WENT TO MY DOCTOR AND GOT DROPS FOR THEM. I TOOK THE CAR THE VERY NEXT DAY TO A FORD DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND IT HAS NOW BEEN OVER 5 WEEKS WITH THEM AND AS FAR AS I KNOW, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO THE CAR. IT HAS BEEN TURNED OVER TO FORD MOTOR AND IS WITH THE GENERAL COUNSEL'S DEPARTMENT. THE ROAD TRIP WAS APPROXIMATELY 400-500 MILES IN TOTAL ON THE HIGHWAYS OF WASHINGTON STATE. *JS

HOOD LATCH WON'T RELEASE, IT'S COMPLETELY STUCK AFTER POPPING THE HOOD LEVER. I NOTICE THIS AFTER THE DOOR LATCHES WENT BAD AND I HAD SERVICE THEM UNDER A KNOWN RECALL ISSUE.

RECALL WAS ISSUED FOR DEFECTIVE DOOR LATCH ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2016 (NHTSA RECALL NUMBER 16V643). IT IS NOW MARCH 6, 2017, OVER SIX MONTHS LATER, AND STILL NO REMEDY HAS BEEN OFFERED BY FORD. I HAVE CALLED THE DEALER ONCE PER MONTH TRYING TO GET THE FAULTY PART REPLACED AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE IS NO ESTIMATE FOR WHEN IT WILL BE AVAILABLE. FORD SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR REMEDYING THIS RECALL IN A TIMELY MANNER AND SHOULD BE PENALIZED FOR FAILING TO DO SO.
I WAS DRIVING WITH A PASSENGER IN THE FRONT SEAT WHEN THE PASSENGER FRONT DOOR OPENED AS I WAS DRIVING. I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 50MPH. I PULLED OVER TO TRY AND SHUT THE DOOR, BUT IT WOULD NOT LATCH. I HAD TO BUNGEE CORD THE DOOR TO THE SEAT IN ORDER TO GET TO THE DEALERSHIP.
DRIVING MY 2013 FORD ESCAPE SEL WITH ONLY 52000 MILES ON IT HOME FROM SHOPPING IN RENO, NEVADA. I WAS IN WASHOE VALLEY, NV WHEN I THOUGH THE HIGH WINDS WERE KEEPING MY CAR FROM SPEEDING UP, WHEN I COULD NOT ACCELERATE I PULLED TO THE SLOW LANE AND THEN ONTO THE SHOULDER. I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND LOOK AT MY DASH TO SEE IF I WAS OVERHEATING OR ANY OTHER ISSUES WERE APPARENT. MY DASH SHOWED NOTHING WRONG AT ALL. NO LIGHTS OR WARNINGS OF ANY KIND. THE GAGES WERE ALL RUNNING NORMAL. I PUT MY CAR IN PARK AND WITHIN A SECOND OR TWO A LARGE VERY BLACK BILLOW OF SMOKE CAME UP BACK PART OF THE ENGINE NEAREST TO HE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW. THEN SECOND LATER LARGER FIRE FLAMES CAME RIGHT BEHIND IT THAT WENT OVER THE TOP OF MY CAR. MY CAR WENT UP IN FLAMES IN JUST MOMENTS. I HAD TO JUMP FROM THE BURNING CAR TO SAFELY.

I EXPERIENCED DOOR LATCH RECALL ISSUE AFTER HOURS ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH WHILE DRIVING! I CALLED THE COMPANY ON SATURDAY MORNING AND WAS TOLD THAT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS NOT OPEN. ON MONDAY I CONTACTED THEM AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES TO BE TOLD BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT THE COMPUTER SYSTEM WAS DOWN. I EVEN WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND GOT NO HELP, BEING TOLD THAT THE REPLACEMENT PARTS WERE NOT EXPECTED UNTIL 2ND QUARTER OF THE YEAR. WHAT? MY DOOR IS BROKEN NOW!!! I EVEN ASKED IF THEY COULD REPLACE IT WITH A DEFECTIVE PART IF THEY HAD ANY ON-HAND SO THAT MY CAR COULD BE DRIVABLE. UP TO NOW I HAVE GOTTEN NO RESPONSE BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM WAS DOWN. CALLED A PERSONAL CONTACT ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND WAS ASKED TO CALL BACK ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. I DID. I WAS ASKED IF I RECEIVED A LETTER, TO WHICH I REPLIED NO, BUT I DO HAVE THE PROBLEM AND DO I NEED TO HAVE A LETTER TO GET THE OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE PART REPLACED? I SHARED MY VIN NUMBER AS REQUESTED AND AM STILL AWAITING FEEDBACK ON THIS. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. ONE MONTH AGO, JULY 2016 THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR SUDDENLY OPENED AND WOULD NOT LATCH. WE TRIED EVERYTHING; WE COULD NOT DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE DURING TURNS THE DOOR WOULD SWING OPEN AND THE ALARM WOULD NOT STOP DINGING. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND SAW THAT THIS HAS BEEN AN ON GOING PROBLEM/RECALL WITH THIS YEAR 2013 ESCAPES. I TOOK THE CAR IN TO THE FORD DEALER AND WAS TOLD MY CAR WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. I CALLED FORD, SPOKE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS AGAIN TOLD, MY CAR NOT PART OF RECALL. I EXPRESSED MY CONCERN THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN AGAIN AND IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS! THEY SAID IF RECALL IS EXPANDED I CAN GET A REFUND FOR MY REPAIR. ONE MONTH AND 7 DAYS LATER THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR. MY DOG NEARLY FLEW OUT OF THE CAR. I AM FURIOUS THAT FORD KNOWS THERE IS AN ISSUE AND REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. THIS IS NOT A MINOR ISSUE. SOMEONE OR SOMETHING IS GOING TO FLY OUT OF A CAR. WHEN TURNING LEFT, THE DOOR JUST FLIES OPEN. THERE IS ALSO NO WAY TO LOCK CAR. THE DOOR WILL NOT LATCH. I WILL AGAIN NEVER PURCHASE A FORD.

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD, THE "DOOR AJAR" ALERT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD DISPLAY SCREEN. AFTER PULLING OVER TO CLOSE THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR I NOTICED IT WOULD NOT CLOSE. AFTER EACH ATTEMPT TO CLOSE THE DOOR IT WOULD NOT LATCH. IT WOULD JUST BOUNCE BACK OPEN. THE LATCHING MECHANISM WOULD NOT FUNCTION, SO I HAD TO TIE THE DOOR SHUT WITH A ROPE IN ORDER FOR IT TO NOT SWING OPEN WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE BACK HOME. FAULTY DOOR LATCH SEEMS TO BE THE ISSUE HERE.
WHILE IN MOTION THE PASSENGER DOOR FLEW OPEN WHILE TURNING. THE LATCH INSIDE THE DOOR BROKE FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY RECALLS OF OTHER FORD VEHICLES THAT HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. BUT ESCAPES HAVE NOT BEEN INCLUDED. WE ARE FORTUNATE THAT NO ONE FELL OUT OF THE VEHICLE WHILE TURNING THE CORNER. THE CAR WAS ON A CITY HIGHWAY TURNING ONTO ANOTHER CITY HIGHWAY.
DRIVER DOOR SWUNG OPEN AS I WAS DRIVING IN TOWN. DOOR WON'T LATCH SHUT.
THE DOOR LATCH ON THE REAR DOOR FAILED TO LATCH. THE CAR COULD NOT BE DRIVEN BECAUSE THE DOOR WOULD NOT LATCH AND OPENED WHEN MAKING A TURN. THIS IS THE SAME DOOR LATCH THAT HAS BEEN RECALLED ON OTHER FORD MODELS. WHY IS THIS RECALLED PART ON OTHER MODELS NOT RECALLED IN THE FORD ESCAPE. IT IS THE SAME PART.
THE LIFTGATE IS MALFUNCTIONING. THE POWERED LIFT GATE RAISES UP AFTER THE BUTTON IS PUSHED, OPENS FULL, STOPS FULLY OPENED FOR A SPLIT SECOND BEFORE SLAMMING DOWN WITHOUT WARNING. THE LIFTGATE WILL NOT STAY OPEN ON ITS OWN, NO MATTER HOW YOU OPEN IT. WARNING: COULD CAUSE BODILY INJURY, BE AWARE OF THE LIFTGATE AT ALL TIMES.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
TWICE THE PASSENGER INTERIOR DOOR FRAMES HAVE SEPARATED FROM THE DOOR AND BECAME CAUGHT ON ITEMS INSIDE THE VEHICLE SUCH AS THE SEAT ETC. THIS CAUSES THE DOOR TO BECOME STUCK AND UNABLE TO OPEN. BOTH TIMES IT TOOK WE WELL OVER 30 MINUTES TO DISLODGE THE FRAME AND REATTACH TO THE FRAME TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR. BOTH TIMES, THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN JUST PARKED AND I WAS TRYING TO RETRIEVE MY INFANT DAUGHTER FROM THE BACK SEAT. I FEAR THAT IF I HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SAFELY RETRIEVE MY DAUGHTER FROM THE VEHICLE. IF THIS OCCURS WITH NO IMPACT, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN CASE OF AN IMPACT? WOULD ALL 4 DOORS BECOME LODGED?

CONSUMER STATED THAT THE CAR HAS A FAILURE OF THE FORWARD SUBFRAME ASSEMBLY THAT CARRIES THE WHEEL JOINTS AND STEERING ARMS. *LN THE CONSUMER STATED THE RECALL WAS INTENDED TO INSTALL A CROSS-BRACE ON THE CONTROL ARM ATTACHMENT SO THAT IF THE SUBFRAME FAILED, THERE WOULD BE LESS OF A TENDENCY FOR MAJOR STEERING FAILURE. THE CONSUMER HAD THE BRACE INSTALLED IN JUNE 2014. ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2014, THE SUB FRAME FAILED WHILE HE WAS TURNING A CORNER AND HE WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE. IT SEEMS TO BE A VERY POOR DESIGN TO HAVE SOMETHING THAT IS SO DELICATE AND FLIMSY TO BE DIRECTLY EXPOSED JUST INCHES FROM THE GROUND ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE WHERE ANY SORT OF ROAD DEBRIS COULD EASILY DAMAGE IT AND CAUSE IT COME INTO DIRECT CONTACT WITH A HOT EXHAUST PIPE. WHEN CLOSING THE REAR HATCH USING THE INSIDE HANDLE, THE FLAIR AT THE BASE OF THE DOOR HIT ME ON THE BRIDGE OF THE NOSE. MY GLASSES WERE KNOCKED TO THE GROUND AFTER THEY CUT INTO THE SKIN. I HAD TO HAVE 4 STITCHES TO CLOSE THE WOUND. THE DOOR IS DIFFICULT TO CLOSE FROM THE OUTSIDE WITHOUT USING THE INTERIOR HANDLE, BUT BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION OF THE HANDLE AND THE LENGTH OF THE DOOR FROM BOTTOM EDGE TO HANDLE, IT IS LONGER THAN A TYPICAL REAR HATCH. I WAS INJURED IMMEDIATELY AFTER RENTING THIS CAR AND HAD SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. *TR
THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDAL ARE SO CLOSE TOGETHER THAT WHEN YOU PUSH ON THE BRAKE, YOU COULD ALSO BE PUSHING ON THE GAS PEDAL IF YOU HAVE NORMAL SIZED FEET. THIS CAUSES THE ENGINE TO RACE AND YOU STEP ON THE BRAKE HARDER WHICH PUSHES DOWN THE GAS PEDAL MORE AND CAUSES THE ENGINE TO RACE MORE. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME TWICE IN THE LAST MONTH. *TR
INSIDE REAR HATCH HANDLE CAME OFF WHEN PULLING THE HATCH DOWN TO CLOSE. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY FOUND A SCREW INSIDE THE HATCH PANEL HAD CAME OUT. REPLACED WITH NEW SCREW THEN SNAPPED HANDLE BACK IN PLACE. THIS HANDLE IS WEAK AND POORLY DESIGNED. ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS JUST SNAPS ON. THE STRESS THE HANDLE AND PANEL MUST TAKE AS TO PULL THE WEIGHT OF THE HEAVY HATCH DOWN BEFORE YOU CAN PLACE YOUR HAND ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HATCH TO CLOSE NEEDS TO BE REDESIGNED IN THE NEWER MODELS. I COMPLAINT TO FORD AND THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALER WHERE I PURCHASED THE CAR 4 DAYS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT FOR PROPER INSPECTION. THE PROCESS MAY TAKE 1 TO 2 MONTHS. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM SERVICE DEPT SAYING THE THERE WHERE NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS FOUND AND TO PICK UP THE CAR.POLICE REPORT WAS SUBMITTED AND NO LEGAL PAPERWORK WAS RECEIVED YET FROM FORD. I HAVE THE 2.0 SE WITH ROOF RAILS AND PANORAMIC SUNROOF. THERE IS A WATER LEAK ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEADLINER RIGHT NEAR THE A-PILLAR. I PULLED BACK THE HEADLINER AND WATER IS DRIPPING FROM AN AREA ADJACENT TO A NYLON FASTENER. THE CAR IS PARKED ON AN INCLINE AND THE FRONT OF THE CAR IS HIGHER THAN THE REAR, SO THE SUNROOF CANNOT BE THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK. *TR
THE GAS PEDAL IS TOO CLOSE TO THE BRAKE. WHEN I WEAR BIG SHOES, THE BACK LEFT SIDE EDGE OF MY SHOE CATCHES THE BACK SIDE OF THE BRAKE WHEN I LIFT IT OFF THE GAS. SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT SHOULD BE CORRECTED. *TR
