I HAD MY HEATED SEATS ON FOR A TRIP TO MY MOTHER'S. WE STOPPED EVERY 2 TO 3 HOURS FOR GAS AND BREAKS. 12 HOURS INTO THE 14 HOUR TRIP I STARTED FEELING PAIN ON THE BACK OF MY LEGS. I CHECKED ON OUR NEXT BREAK AND SAW BLISTERS FORMING ON THE BACKS OF MY LEGS. BY THE TIME I HAD ARRIVED MOST OF THE BLISTERS HAD POPPED. CAR WAS IN MOTION.
WHILE ON A 2 1/2 HR TRIP ON THE HIGHWAY, THE HEATER IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT GOT SO HOT I HAVE SECOND DEGREE BURNS ON MY UPPER LEG AND BUTTOCK. SO FAR, IT HAS REQUIRED TO VISITS TO MY DOCTOR FOR TREATMENT. THE MANAGER AT THE DEALER WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE TELLS ME HE HAS NEVER HEARD OF A HEATER GETTING THAT HOT, AND DOES NOT BELIEVE THAT IS HOW I WAS BURNED. THEY SAID THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT AND THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO ENSURE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.
