The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The vehicle was previously serviced at the dealer under an unknown NHTSA Campaign Number for the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system; however, the failure recurred. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the AEB engaged message was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 43,713. THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALERSHIP WOULD NOT HONOR THE RECALL. THE DEALERSHIP REQUESTED PAYMENT TO REPAIR THE FAILURE. THE CONSUMER REFERENCED RECALL 20S42/20V-469.
