Your engine's oil filter housing may fail, causing engine oil and coolant to mix together and making your car unable to run. This appears to be a widespread issue affecting multiple 2021-2024 Durangos, and in some cases has caused complete engine failure. The repair will likely involve replacing the faulty oil filter housing assembly and flushing the engine system.

Your transmission warning light has come on three times in six months, and each time your car won't shift properly. When you take it to the dealer, no error codes appear in the computer, even though you have video evidence of the problem happening. The dealer has already replaced the transmission control module once, but the problem keeps returning. Since your car keeps showing this warning light and shifting problem despite no diagnostic codes, there's clearly an intermittent transmission issue that needs further investigation and repair.

Your 2023 Dodge Durango's transmission may not respond when you shift into reverse, displaying a "Service Shifter" message without any warning light. On another occasion, your vehicle lost engine power while driving at highway speed (60 MPH) with no warning light. Manually shifting the gear shifter between neutral and reverse temporarily resolved the first issue, but the dealer was unable to diagnose or repair the problem. The issue may involve the transmission shifter assembly or engine control module that needs diagnostic testing and possible replacement.

Your infotainment screen went black and displayed a message telling you to take the car to the dealer. At the same time, the transmission shifter indicator stopped working. The dealer quoted $1,900 to fix both issues, which likely involves replacing or reprogramming the display unit and transmission control module.

That slow speeds when you back up or pull forward and the wheels hit a little bit of resistance, everything goes off on the vehicle, wipers do not work, says the adaptive traction control needs service, it says emergency braking service goes out, turn signals do not work, we have been to Dodge. They say they know about this, but there’s no recalls and they tell us they cannot fix it unless it has an active code and as soon as you cut it off, apparently it’s not an active code, although they’re still stored in the system we have a video of showing what happens when it does it Sometimes when we just start the car, it will not even go into gear and every hazard light pops up on the dashboard, again wipers will not work, will not go into gear says the traction control is not working. Breaking system is not working, etc.. I tried uploading the video, but it will not allow a video upload While traveling at speed, the speedometer says you’re running 0 mph, you can’t even tell how fast you’re going
