2016 Dodge Dart Brakes Problems

Oil contamination was found it then take booster and check valve causing low brake pedal and the brake pedal to fall to the floor. The 2013 and 2014 dodge darts with a 2.4l engine had a recall. Recall number R63 / NHTSA 15V-800.

There was no accident in this case. We lost brakes with no warning and the brake pedal got hard to press. So we changed brake pads and calibers in rear because had not be but few months on front brakes.

Emergency brake stopped working on 4/20/19, so I had an auto shop repair it 4/30/19. The emergency brake stopped working again yesterday, 5/16/19.

Front brake calipers were failing. Symptoms were loud rattling and vibrations when moving. Fix was to replaced them along with new rotors and brake pads.

This complaint is additional information for original complaint 11535053 7/28/2023 I have diagnosed the issue I have taken pictures of the entire brake booster that failed, and have held on to the parts for the investigation. The vehicle had the updated vacuum line. Still oil present in brake booster.

Put my car into reverse as I was backing out brakes felt stiff and hard took time to slow down. I had to use the hand brake to stop the car. I have not driven my car since I have been away for work.
