2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Cruise Control Problems

While driving on the highway the vehicle began to shake and the stability track light came on. It felt like it affected the transmission. We had to get it towed 30 miles to our home area.

The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the engine sounded abnormally rough, with a knocking sound coming from the engine. In addition, several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle lost motive power and was pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle was restarted; however, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with failed lifters. The contact was informed that the lifters needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

ABS (trailer braking system) and stabitrak warning lights randomly come on while driving and remain on until vehicle turns off. On multiple occasions the rear wheels have locked and steering becomes difficult even when brakes are not being applied. This has occurred while driving at varying speeds and in varying weather conditions.

This vehicle since I bought it, already had symptoms but they were minor, now the problem is bigger , the transmission does not have enough torque the vehicle loses strength and does not advance when you push the accelerator

Cruise control (speed) is not working, was but has quit

I was traveling south on i65 in tennessee, with the cruise control set at 76mph. I was near mile marker 27 on a steep incline when a car moved in front of me causing me to tap the brake to come off cruise control and slow down. When the car merged right, clearing my path, I touched the resume button to reach-engage the cruise control.
