Your vehicle suddenly lost power while driving and you had to pull over, but it restarted successfully. However, you noticed white smoke and embers coming from the EGR cooler and intake manifold area, though no warning lights appeared. The dealer was unable to diagnose the issue, and while your vehicle was later repaired under a recall campaign in 2022, the original cause wasn't identified at that time. The problem may involve the EGR cooling system overheating or a fuel system malfunction that requires inspection of the EGR cooler, fuel injectors, and intake manifold components.
