Your 2014 Tundra vibrates when you brake, whether lightly or hard, and you can feel it in the steering wheel, seat, and throughout the truck at various speeds. You've already replaced the rotors and brake pads twice since buying the truck in 2023, but the vibration persists. The fix may involve inspecting the brake system components, wheel alignment, or suspension parts that could be causing the vibration during braking.

Your power steering pump is leaking fluid, which triggered the maintenance warning light while you were driving. The dealer identified that the front power steering coolant line and a gasket need to be replaced. While there was a recall available, it didn't cover the coolant line, so you had to pay out-of-pocket to have an auto shop replace the leaking parts.

GLOSS COATING ON STEERING WHEEL HAS CRACKED IN MULTIPLE AREAS, HANDLING OF THE VEHICLE HAS BECOME UNCOMFORTABLE. MOST RECENT CRACK IS ABOUT 2MM WIDE AND GOES ALL AROUND THE WOODEN GLOSS PART OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND I FEEL THAT IF THIS CONTINUES MY STEERING WHEEL WILL BECOME UNSAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO THE UNEVENNESS AND POSSIBLY CAUSE SOME PIECES TO FALL OFF MY STEERING WHEEL.
HORN STOPPED WORKING. REALIZED IT WILL WORK ONLY WHEN STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED. FUSE ARE GOOD. DANGEROUS NOT HAVING HORN OPERABLE. TWO CLOSE CALL ACCIDENTS WHERE I COULD NOT WARN OTHER DRIVER.
THE STEERING WHEEL WOOD PORTION IS STARTING TO CRACK IN 2 DIFFERENT PLACES. ASKED TOYOTA SERVICES IF THEY HAD EVER SEEN ONE CRACKING. ANSWER WAS NO. ONLY REMEDY IS CHANGE THE STEERING WHEEL ($$)
DRIVING AT 60 MPH THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SHAKE. FELT WOBBLY . THE KIND OF FEELING WHEN DRIVING ON FLAT TIRES. DID NOT STOP EVEN WHEN I SLOWED DOWN HAD TO PULL OVER TO SHOULDER. WOBBLING INTENSIFIED AS I DROVE. PROBLEM OCCURRED AGAIN ON JANUARY 1ST (THREE TIMES IN ONE NIGHT) AND ON JANUARY 25TH 2015. I HAVE COMPLAINED TO TOYOTA. CASE NUMBER IS [XXX]. THEIR RESPONSE IS THEY HAVE NO WAY OF LETTING ME KNOW IF OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS PROBLEM BEFORE OR IF THEY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE PROBLEM.
