While turning into a shopping center parking lot, your car suddenly accelerated on its own and didn't respond to normal braking. The emergency brake slowed but didn't stop the vehicle, and a passenger had to turn off the ignition to bring it to a halt. When you restarted the engine, you heard a very loud growling noise from the engine compartment. The dealership tested the car thoroughly but couldn't find any problems or reproduce the issue.

Your horn works intermittently, which creates a safety hazard since you may not be able to warn other drivers or pedestrians of danger. You've already had the spiral cable replaced twice ($400+ each time) without permanent success, and now the horn pad assembly is being replaced. This appears to be a recurring defect that may require multiple repair attempts to fully resolve.
