Your fuel tank was punctured and temporarily repaired with JB Weld epoxy by the previous owner, who didn't disclose this to you. You noticed a strong fuel smell for two weeks after purchase, which could indicate a fuel leak posing a safety risk. The fuel tank and fuel pump have since been replaced at a Toyota dealership.
