Your Prius has a large rear pillar and side mirrors that make it hard to see blind spots, especially if you're taller. The blind spot detection system doesn't work reliably—it only works sometimes. Toyota should add the camera-based rearview mirror system that comes on the Limited trim, which shows a live rear view at all times, to make the car safer.
