After the dealership serviced your power window master switch, the door panel wasn't reassembled properly and the switch assembly is now hanging loose inside the door. Your power door lock no longer works (requiring manual key entry), and the door panel cover broke and fell apart. The window controls still function, but the entire master switch assembly is unstable and dangling in the door.

I'VE ONLY HAD THE CAR TWO YEARS AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, THE INSPECTION/REGISTRATION STICKER CANNOT BE HAD! I FEEL VERY MUCH LET DOWN BY THE DEALERSHIP I ACQUIRED THIS CAR FROM. I GOT IT FROM FORT BEND TOYOTA IN ROSENBERG. IT'S GONNA TAKE ME MANY YEARS TO PAY THIS CAR PAID OFF AND ALREADY I MAY HAVE TO JURY RIG IT AND VOID EVERY WARRANTY EVER. WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES, MY CAR WILL REV UP. ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M GOING DOWN HILL. ANOTHER CONCERN IS THAT MY CAR WILL MAKE A 2-3 SECOND RATTLING NOISE UPON STARTING UP. IT ONLY MAKES THIS NOISE ONCE IN A WHILE AND IT IS COMING FROM THE ENGINE. ANOTHER ISSUE I'M HAVING IS THE CAR'S CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, TRACK LIGHT AND VSC OFF LIGHT COMING ON SIMULTANEOUSLY ON ANY RAINY DAY AND STAYING ON FOR SEVERAL DAYS AFTER IT HAS STOPPED RAINING. I AVOID DRIVING AT FAST SPEEDS WHEN ITS RAINY BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THE CAR IS VERY UNSTABLE. MY DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WONT OPEN OR CLOSE AND VERY COLD DAYS AND OTHER DAYS IT MAKES A WEIRD NOISE. THE WIRE BECAME SEPARATED AND THERE WAS A VOID, THE WIRE COVER STAYED INTACT UNTIL I REMOVED THE CONNECTOR FROM THE HORN. I HAD TO CONNECT A NEW WIRE FROM THE EXISTING WIRE AND RECONNECT TO THE HORN. ALL IS FINE NOW.

THIS HAPPENS EVERY BLOCK OR SO IN HIGHWAY DRIVING, AND ALTHOUGH THE SPEED DOESN'T CHANGE, THE IMPULSE CHANGES ARE PHYSICALLY PERCEPTIBLE (WE CAN FEEL IT IN THE SEAT AND STEERING WHEEL, AS IF THE CAR IS JERKING). THE MECHANIC SAID THIS IS NORMAL IN NEWER CARS AS MOST HAVE GONE TO THE NEW TECHNOLOGY. MY 2007 TOYOTA COROLLA HAD A FAILED ECM WHICH CAUSED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME AND STALL THE ENGINE. IN ADDITION, MY VEHICLE HAD HIGH RPM AND SHIFTING GEAR PROBLEMS AS WELL. THE FAILED ECM ISSUE WAS DISCOVERED BY A SPECIFIC CODE FOR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I CALLED TOYOTA AND THEY WERE CERTAINLY AWARE OF THE PROBLEM HOWEVER TOLD ME THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH COMPLAINTS TO RECALL THE ISSUE. I CALLED TOYOTA DEALER AND THEY INFORMED SINCE MY MILEAGE WAS 95,000 AND THE WARRANTY WOULD ONLY COVER UP TO 80,000 MILES. I ENDED UP GETTING THE ECM REPLACED FOR ABOUT $800 AT CARMAX WHICH WAS $700 CHEAPER THAN WHAT TOYOTA WANTED TO CHARGE. I CALLED TOYOTA HEADQUARTERS AGAIN TO COMPLAIN AND WAS LEFT WITH NO RESOLUTION. AFTER MY RESEARCH ONLINE, THIS WAS A WELL KNOWN PROBLEM TO TOYOTA HOWEVER THEY FAILED TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.
